For $20, you're definitely getting your money worth. I don't think I've paid that much for a facial anywhere else-even ten years ago. It's a very reasonable price. That said, if you want a spa-like experience, this isn't the place for you. The facials are done in an open setting-similar to a barber shop-where a bunch of chairs are crammed into the space. When I arrived and walked back to my station, I had to navigate chairs and people awkwardly. It's a tight squeeze. The atmosphere is bright and a little loud. Conversations abound and upbeat music is playing. It's not bad necessarily, but if you want a peaceful treatment, you'll be disappointed. Also, make note of the location. This one is in the strip mall next to Macy's. I first went across the street to another address where there are two separate locations (so three total), which can be confusing. I've seen this place all over social media & have been so curious to try this place! For $20 it was a pretty good facial & there were way more steps than I expected!! Even though you are in a shared space with about 8 other people getting facials at the same time, I still found it relaxing. Just know there will be people talking & people passing by during your service. Cashlee was my esthetician & she was amazing!! She was very thoughtful & asked if any of my piercings were tender, & I actually recently just gotten my ears pierced so she was careful with the headband. she also noticed I had lash extensions & made sure to ask if I wanted to skip the steam & hot towel over my eyes, which I really appreciated! Okay i love this place! The signature facial is only $20 and you can build it up with extras as you want. I added on the extraction and red light therapy. I love that its like 15 steps, they take their time and its so relaxing. My favorite part is the ice globes and face mask, it feels amazing. In the future id definitely get the red light again but probably not the extraction since i didnt notice a huge difference but overall my face was so glowy after and for sensitive skin, i didnt experience any breakouts which is so nice! Cant wait for their new location to open in chinatown so i can go more often! read more

My sister-in-law and my niece both go to K-Ari for facials. I was visiting Salt Lake City and they told me it's really hard to get in so a few days before we left, I booked an appointment. When I arrived it was a little confusing, there are two doors, one sign. To the left was a bright pink room where I believe they reserve for young children parties or for brides to be with their bridal party. On the other side, there's small reception area with 3 chairs and their products along the wall. There were quite a few people in line, and phone ringing to make appointments. Only one person in front so I waited for 10 minutes to check in. Once I was taken back to the rooms I realized I was going to be in a room with three chairs. I was in the middle and there were two women one on either side getting their facials. TBH, is the first time I've been to an skin salon where there were multiple people in the same room, which is one reason I did not give five stars! I didn't like the woman to the right of me talking the whole time and her phone ringing three times, it was not relaxing and that shouldn't be permitted. However; I did enjoy my facial and I like the product I bought after the facial. If I'm ever back in the Salt Lake area, I'll definitely book another facial there. The price is unbelievable for what you get, which is why it's so busy and popular! I think the whole thing including product cost me $65 out the door and my skin looks a lot better. I just didn't like the multi-use room with the phone ringing, it should be more tranquil and relaxing. read more

This was the worst experience for a facial ever! Let me explain my experience I got a higher price facial and I was in a room with 3 people. Nothing was relaxing about it. They left the door open and the light was shining in my face. The music was some kind of indie dance music. Nothing like a relaxing spa music. I had to listen to the other customers problems cause she was talking the entire time. This is not the environment for a facial. It was stressful to be part of listening to their problems. Now for the facial. My entire facial smelled like latex. And it was latex gloves all over my face. This ruined the experience for sure. It felt so mechanical and industrial. I think you should ask the customer if they mind gloves and if not give us a choice to book with an employee that doesn't wear them. They brought another person to the room but realized there was not a bed free and then took her back out to sit in the front. My an aesthetician had to leave the room five times to get something which left me waiting during that time. This was far from relaxing. I could hear the girls talking shop in that middle room between the front desk and my room. And the massage was latex gloves pulling on my hair. Again a terrible experience. They have 2 locations in Highland. One is in the Macey's shopping center and the other is the VIP location across Timpanogos highway in the elevate dentistry building. Okay. I love this place. $20 facial- and in 30-40 minutes my skin looks fantastic. Their products are wonderful. My husband hates this place because I go here every month and get a majority of my skin care products from them. I highly recommend this place. I'm a huge fan. Both locations are great. The VIP one is a more private setting where the original location everything is kind of out in the open and it's not as quiet. Their sunscreen is amazing and I love their micro needling serum. Today, Mikelle gave me a custom peptide facial. She used products from their RG line which I instantly felt tighten and hydrate my skin. She did a gel mask as well which had water lily in it. That was amazing! She also applied a peptide wrinkle shot to my eyes to hydrate and eliminate the dark circles and fine lines around my eyes. I needed that so badly!
