Either way, checked in at the counter. Two young men working. Talked to both of them. Told them my name & that I was picking up a Yelp/Grub Hub order. The young man at the counter seemed more interested in small talking than working. When asked if they were busy, he said "he is". He said it was the other guys last training day, so he was letting him do the work. Too much. 3 orders up, each time one came up, I was asked my name again. No no no. Waited. A party of 6 people were checking out, most separate. This cause confusion for the servers and extra time for everyone. After about the 4th person and now waiting here 15 min, I caught the eye of the person checking them out. He said one minute as he finished with them. I asked if he could check on the order. He did and then after finishing, asked if he could borrow my phone to show the cook. Umm, I guess? Then he came back and explained that the grub hub orders don't auto print & blamed the other guy for not checking it. I told him that he should blame himself also for not. Geez. Considering I checked in with them 15 min prior & told them where I'd placed my order!?? Anyway. Guy kept my phone to put order into the system again. Maybe Yelp should disable the ordering since they don't check it?? Rant over. Food wasn't bad, but didn't necessarily impress either. I had the Tan Tan Ramen & an order of shrimp tempura. Everything was packed separately, good. Plenty of noodles in the bowl! Very small amount of cabbage & pickled ginger. I ordered and paid $1.50 for an egg & it wasn't there. Unless half an egg costs $1.50? If so, that's crazy. Broth was temperature hot, but soup wasn't spicy, as the description says. Actually, once I mixed it, nothing was spicy. 2.5 out of 5 for the soup. Shrimp tempura was ok. The fluffy batter had no flavor and there was a side of soy sauce for dipping!? Not sure if this after first impression I'd make my way back here?

The staff is super friendly and courteous :) ! We usually order the beef vermicelli soup, and a variety of dumplings :D ! They serve our food pretty promptly, with the soup still hot and tasty, and the dumplings steamy and savory :D ! My sister doesn't eat pork. So she typically orders dumplings that don't contain pork. I eat all kinds of meat. So I always order the pork and chive dumplings :D ! Whether you come in on a weekday or weekend, it always helps to come early if you can! If we want to go there for lunch, we try to get there as close to 11 am as possible when they first open. As it gets closer to 12 noon, it starts to get really busy, and it's harder and trickier for the staff to seat you. There is both booth and table seating. It's a great restaurant to catch up with friends, family or even colleagues over a good meal :) ! The parking lot out in front is a pretty decent size. But it can fill up pretty quickly when it gets busy! We also love ordering frozen dumplings to go :D ! For sure, we will definitely come back :D ! Kung Fu Noodle never disappoints :) !

I got the beef noodle soup with pork and chive steamed dumplings combination that comes with tea or soda. With tax, this is all under $20. The soup was better than what I've had in San Antonio and noodles were not too doughy with lots of beef. Pork chive dumplings were delicious! Staff was friendlier than other places that are asian own:). Casual place to eat with friends for great bowl of noodles and dumplings! I would come back to try other items off their menu. They have skewers as well!

Knowing…read morethat Chef Mike was ending his run, I wanted, no, needed to get one last bowl of the Hakata Ramen. My only regret was never being able to taste Chef Mike's menudo ramen. But still, whatever you order here, you're in for something truly special. Despite the sad news of the closing, service was always given with a smile. Our waitress was attentive, helpful, and sweet. I ordered the Hakata Ramen and a Dr Pepper (after my friend and I had coffee at Indy next door). The six minute egg is probably my favorite part. No wait, it's the broth. Or is it the noodles? Ugh, it's all great. The egg was delicious. Jammy yolk. The noodles were springy and chewy. The broth was rich and unctuous. The pork was soft and flavorful. Even when I took the leftovers home, it was still fantastic. The steam facial I received provided much relief from my mountain cedar allergies. There will be a huge ramen-bowl shaped hole in my heart and San Antonio's heart once Noodle Tree closes. They have the best ramen in the city and ramen shops have some incredibly large shoes to fill. Best of luck to you, Chef Mike. Thank you for all the magic you created in your kitchen.

I ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen and my soup was so salty that it was extremely difficult to eat. I could feel my blood pressure rising as I ate it, and only managed to finish half my bowl before I started feeling it in my head. Despite their ramen being more affordable, I still feel like I wasted $12. Restaurant is decorated very modern and trendy, inside has cool decorations as well. I would go elsewhere next time.

The service from the beginning was great! Very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing!! I'm not a big fan of ramen but these were really good. The Nama sushi roll was a great recommendation made from the cashier. The ambiance is actually really great as well. Now the reason for giving only three stars was unfortunately my daughter and I spent most of our time before getting our food and while eating our food swatting away at gnats. Omg that was unbearable

Alas, was really craving some 蔥油餅, and this was the only place that offered delivery with them! I am sad to report that @ the very premium price of $5 for a single pancake, it would have been a far more worthwhile choice to take an Uber to the Asian grocery store to buy an entire package of 8 to 10 frozen ones for practically the same price! Same goes for pretty much everything else. Buying the frozen versions would have been not only me expensive, but the tasteful pleasure would have been on par if not better. Bibigo, I Mei, Wei Chan are a few recommended frozen food companies that would serve you better! Taste profile for all items were mediocre at best. $6 Takoyoki Balls were probably the best, but even then, I have had far better for less dinero. The supposedly main course sized Donburi Gyudon was nowhere with the price, but it was at least pretty good. The 75 percent rice was good but obviously more meat would have been nice for $12. Not to be boringly dissimilar in my assessment, but the soups also are not recommended when they are so pricey. TLDR, eat here expecting average but overpriced food. When you consider value, this place is highly recommended- to avoid!

Second, the broth was rich but lacked memorable flavor. Third, everything else was as expected. Fourth, the quaint little restaurant reminded me of a great place to meet a special friend or first date; clean, quiet, blah blah blah.
