How far can $50 go? In the context of the trying-too-hard-to-be-clever punny named "Time To 8", the answer is, not very far at all. . Should have paid more heed to other reviewers. Alas, was really craving some 蔥油餅, and this was the only place that offered delivery with them! I am sad to report that @ the very premium price of $5 for a single pancake, it would have been a far more worthwhile choice to take an Uber to the Asian grocery store to buy an entire package of 8 to 10 frozen ones for practically the same price! Same goes for pretty much everything else. Buying the frozen versions would have been not only me expensive, but the tasteful pleasure would have been on par if not better. Bibigo, I Mei, Wei Chan are a few recommended frozen food companies that would serve you better! Taste profile for all items were mediocre at best. $6 Takoyoki Balls were probably the best, but even then, I have had far better for less dinero. The supposedly main course sized Donburi Gyudon was nowhere with the price, but it was at least pretty good. The 75 percent rice was good but obviously more meat would have been nice for $12. Not to be boringly dissimilar in my assessment, but the soups also are not recommended when they are so pricey. TLDR, eat here expecting average but overpriced food. I got this delivered through grubhub and I will say first and foremost- I appreciate that they are open late (or even past 9 for that matter) and that they were fast. I ordered the garlic cucumber, cheese Rangoon, and dumplings. The garlic cucumber was decent. The cucumbers were really fresh and I appreciated a veggie option being available. For what it was and the portion at the price of $7 I think I would stick with edamame next time. The cheese rangoons were really disappointing. The breading was super dense and very light colored. Walked up to the fountain to get my soda and as soon as the pressed the button, about a hundred fruit flies flew out of the soda fountain. Looked for a table to sit at and almost all the tables had plates and bbq sticks left on the table from the night before. The floor was filthy.... I get it, they are a small business and probably has a long night before but dirty plates from last night left on tables is unacceptable. Order the bulgogi rice. I had my order to go so truthfully the taste could be different in house as the food wasn't really hot and the food had been in containers about 15 minutes. That being said I thought the chashu pork bowl was good but the egg added somewhat of an odd flavor I wasn't expecting. Very unique but I kept feeling like I was getting taste of McDonald McGriddle or something as I was eating the dish. The rice and chashu were good however. I think this is one of the best ramen's I've had, the broth was almost milky (in a good way) everything was cooked and seasoned so well. Me and my husband literally devoured it! Five stars just for the service and people running the restaurant! Came in twice, 1st time on the grand opening and unknowingly got a $15 voucher that I just recently cashed in. Cashier is incredibly polite, and I think it's a family run local business. The sushi chef personally came and checked in on our sushi taste a few minutes after we got it! My boyfriend and I loved the sushi, and always ask for spicy mayo on the side. This place is very tailored to the anime-loving culture, but it's still a fun quick place to grab a bite! Wow! I'm so glad this restaurant came around. The hours are later in the day so no lunch but after work this is the spot. The service was great and the staff was welcoming. I will say first and foremost, this place is a solid work lunch option - if you are looking for a solid menu selection with good portions at reasonable prices, then you will be happy here. I've had it a couple times, once in person and once through a third party delivery app, and for the most part the service has been quick and the food's been decent. Among the entrees, the Pepper Steak is probably what I like best. What gets me a little is that if you look at the online menu, they describe all of their seafood items as "properly cooked", which makes me a little antsy and reminds of Kronk in the "Kuzco's Poison" scene of Emperor's New Groove. Went to try this newly opened Japanese restaurant. First off, I used the Google reservation service and worked pretty quickly and confirmed my request pretty quickly. I say within 4 minutes. When our party of 3 got there, we stood in line until ot was our turn and told the cashier that we had made reservations. He acknowledged the reservations but it wasn't needed at the time. We ordered the beef bulogi, Tonkatsu ramen, squid and chicken combo, and a rainbow roll a bit after. Oh gyousa was they spelled it was also ordered. I personally did not try one but my wife and daughter did and said it was decent. The beef bulogi was a bit salty and peppery. Also bulogi normally is sliced thin, their version was a bit thicker. However thisis a Japanese restaurant so I didn't expect great bulogi here. My daughter had the ramen and the broth was nice and light. The pork belly was perfect. However the ramen needed to steep a bit longer. The noodles came out chunky and in the chunky bits, you can tell it wasn't cooked through. I had the squid and chicken combo which also came on a hot plate like the bulogi. I really liked my dish. I ate it all. The chicken Teriyaki was good and well seasoned. The squid was perfectly cooked. And had the soft snap that told me the squid was nice and fresh. This place opened today, on April 1, 2022. I felt bad for the cashier. He was the only person working the front. There were no runners or busboys. It was whoever was available to clear tables. I saw the chef and the sushi chef each clean and collected the dirty plates. Also the sweet tea ran out but I didn't want to bother them to make more so I opted for the unsweetened. The decor is pretty cool. I really like the anime posters on the walls. Most were ones we know and are our favorite. When you walk in, there's televisions that show random Japanese cooking shows which are personally super entertaining. The place I clean and spaced out as best they can. All in all, it was pleasant, and the sole cashier was so pleasant and running food to the tables looked exhausting. Nope. Dissatisfied and extremely disappointed. The place has flipped its entire interior and looks like a big mess. The menu is completely different now and mostly boring. I would give a better review because the food was not horrid, however our service was dismal. Late and slow on every dish, order was wrong, over charged, no condiments until asked, and to top it off I gave a 20 percent TIPS at the counter when I ordered - so I guess it ensured poor service instead of prompt. There's a kiosk you have to sign into to order food either to go or dine in, easy process. You get your own drinks from the cooler and wait for the food to be delivered which took about 10 minutes. They don't bring you napkins or chopsticks (i always bring a pair), but you can grab them yourself at the stand next to the cooler. I had the Spicy Sichuan Ramen, super spicy, about a 4.7/5 spice.
