While I understand that complimentary gifts are subject to availability, keeping promotional signage up when you cannot fulfill the offer is completely misleading. It is poor store management and a terrible representation of the Ulta brand. To make matters worse, the staff at this location simply shrugged their shoulders and offered zero explanation or apology for the misleading signs left on the floor. I actually called a different Ulta store to see if this was standard policy, and that location was incredibly helpful, offering to notify me when their next shipment arrived. The Woodbridge location, on the other hand, showed zero accountability or effort. Check your items and ask at the register before you shop here, because management clearly isn't auditing their store floor or training staff on basic customer service.

Let's talk about the bad employee--her name starts with an M--Marzan maybe? Mariam maybe? Either way, the M-lady was AWFUL. She is middle-eastern maybe, and I thought that she would understand my Indian brown skin and mature eye needs, but she slapped on a beige concealer and then took it off and put on another beige concealer....again, I am BROWN. I ended up NOT getting a concealer and told myself I need to go to ULTA or MAC. I even asked the M-lady if she had any samples she could give me since I was going to buy a primer and black Sephora eyeliner pencil anyways. SHE SAID NO!!! THEN, I met DINA, the cashier. She hyped up the Sephora brand eyeliner, and said to use it on my water line--that it's great for that. I asked "would you rather I come in sick and risk getting your staff sick"... the receptionist spoke with the owner who reduced the cancellation fee to 50%. Seems like a very steep cost with little flexibility for canceling even in the event of an illness or emergency. Will not be rebooking my appointment.
