I just got a quick take out kimbap for lunch and it was really good! It was a big size Kimbap with lots of fillings inside. It was spicy, flavorful, and filling. The price can get a little expensive if you add a bunch of sides like I did, but the kimbap is definitely worth its price! I got the combo chicken katsu box, which was a lot of good food for only $13! They have a lot of the snacks, desserts and chips to pick from, including some viral things like the corn shaped/flavored icecream and spicy canned tuna. Hidden Gem. Wife saw this place somewhere and we decided to try. WOW! Awesome food! Tucked in a shopping center across from USF. Little market with ramen and some other Korean items. The star is the hot food. We got pork katsu, bulgogi beef, chicken katsu and Udon with bulgogi beef. There are a few seats in the back along a long tabletop. Perfect for people like us nowhere near home. The Udon came in about a half gallon ice cream like tub. Piping hot and delicious. Flavorful broth and tender beef. Enough for dinner and lunch the next day. The rest of us got the bento boxes. Good luck eating it all. But it is so delicious you might try. They come with purple rice, eggroll, pickled veggies, japache noodles, 1 tempura shrimp, 2 pieces of Korean sushi and whatever you select as your main. What a smorgasbord! Bulgogi beef was tender and umami. Melt in your mouth and so tasty. One of the best beef dishes I have had. The katsu was so crispy and well seasoned. Crispy outside and juicy inside. Pork and chicken both great. You also get a dipping sauce which was good. The noodles were great. The flavor was so good. Probably my favorite part of the box after the beef. Eggroll and shrimp were right out of fryer and crispy. Very good. Pickled daikon and carrot added a nice change of pace. Also had some spicy zucchini at bottom. Spicy but good. Purple rice was nice and perfect for soaking the bulgogi sauce. The Korean sushi was perfect. If we lived closer we would get takeout from here often. Food gets done very quickly and service was good. We will make another trip to try some more options. read more

Absolutely amazing. Dropped in here looking for Korean food while in Temple Terrace that was fairly inexpensive and was not disappointed. I ordered the rabbokki (tteok-bokki with added ramen noodles). The amount of food I got for $10 was so good, and the taste was even better. The noodles really sucked up the delicious sauce while I travelled home. Interior of the shop is very small, but there is some seating if you want to eat in (though it gets a bit hot in there). There's lots of Korean and Japanese snacks you can buy as well, on top of homemade banchan (Korean side dishes). The staff was incredibly kind. I'll be back for sure when I'm in the area. read more

This is my second time coming here. No food this time. But we get to try the ade in bag drinks. They come w free ice cups. I dont recommend the sugar-free ones as they have a weird aftertaste. The people there are super nice and friendly. I tried their rakpokki last time and that was bomb. The only thing is that i dont think theres AC. Ventilation is pretty bad. Did I just buy two tubs of cucumber kimchi and a huge tub of kimchi after I ate my lunch....why yes. Yes I did. Because the house made kimchi is SO GOOD - it beats any store bought any day. I think the kimchi alone being too good, speaks volumes for the remainder of the food I enjoyed. The place is very quaint - market like really, but still has the comfort of a Korean convenience store with all the options. Loved the fact that I could purchase and enjoy the pouched beverages "ade", it's like the Asian equivalent of caprisuns but better. So refreshing - especially when their staff gave you a cup of ice with it! Overall I was not expecting the rice bowls and plates to be as large as I got. Usually Korean food can be pricey and you may be full for a few hours - but the portions here are amazinggggg (for a foodie). I had soo much food - I saved the rest for dinner! Their marinated meats were so juicy and flavorful, their Japchae was the best Japchae I've had from a Korean place. I loved the variety the box came with including pickled veggies!!! Super cute place. It's like a lil snack stop with a food stand inside. The portions are huge. The combo box had a little bit of everything which was amazing!! The bulgogi was my least favorite thing in the combo box, it was a bit unevenly heated. But the kimbap and the japchae were super good even though I don't usually go for either of them. They also have a recommendation for drinks (currently it's the banana milk with the hazelnut coffee - which was delicious). I also tried their new milk and egg dessert waffles which were so good and soft, it was the perfect dessert. The service here is always top notch. They are very quick, catering and nice. I haven't had a chance to try the food yet, but based on the layout of this place I'd recommend you do a pickup order if there's more than two people in your party. This spot was one of the highlights of our time in Tampa! I ordered the fresh made-to-order kimbap with egg , but next time I want to try it with cheese. One of my friends tried the tteokbokki with cheese and it was so good! They have the tear and pour coffee and tea pouches like the ones in 7-11 in Korea , and banana milk. I got a cup of ice and made a Banoffee and it was pretty good. Lots and lots of Korean snacks, including multiple flavors of Turtle chips! I got the chocochurro which is one of my favorites. This is a great place for a quick bite near USF. I brought my kids because I knew that they'd love the variety of Asian drinks and snacks, and maybe I could convince them to try Korean food. I had the Spam kimbap. It was great. Well rolled (although I'd have preferred slightly smaller bites -- narrower roll -- since you can't exactly cut a piece of kimbap in half), good blend of veggies and protein, just tasty. Hands down this place has the best bibimbap! Ever since my boyfriend introduced me to this place, I haven't had a bibimbap that tops this one. The bibimbap has purple rice on the bottom, veggies on the side, and meat on top. It also comes with a side of gochujang that pulls the whole meal together! I do have to say I like spicy food. So if you can't handle the heat of the spicy pork and the gochujang, I would suggest getting their beef bulgogi bibimbap instead. The spiciness of the gochujang and the sweet flavor of the beef bulgogi elevate the meal. My boyfriend loves their japchae with a side of bulgogi. The japchae is a savory glass noodle dish that comes with veggies mixed in. I can 100% agree with my boyfriend that once you try their japchae it'll be hard to order anything else just because it's so good! The service is very quick. It's a small convenience store where you can also sit and enjoy a meal. I wouldn't suggest studying there just bc there's limited space. However, I would say you should go there during your study break to enjoy a good meal and listen to K-pop. Grab yourself some snacks too while you're at and if you need a little pick me up. I love coming here for a quick bite to eat. Being a Korean it's nice to feel reminded of home sometimes since I don't cook Korean food often. I usually go for the tuna kimbap (my favorite although I'm not a huge tuna fan) and their bento boxes. Their baked goods are yummy too and I love the refrigerated meals you can buy. Their soups are quick and easy to heat up. I recently tried their kimchi and it was so delicious! Get this one and stay away from the ones they sell at Costco! If you know Sari-one Korean food chain, this is like Sari-one bistro. You get your variety of Korean food that's packaged, lunch, and wallet friendly. Definitely geared towards professionals and college students in this area, how smart! Really enjoyed our bento meals, and I loved that I could do a little K-foos shopping too. Slight ding on Ttuk bokki having 3 different styles of rice cakes all mixed in - but I am very particular about my spicy rice cakes! I was just delighted to see another interesting food concept come to this area of town. I'm going to fully disclose that some of this review is based on photos other people have posted. I only got delivery from them. It was actually hard doing research for this place. The photos of the sign outside and the digital signs inside show it's another Sa Ri One location. But their website (www.usfkdeli.com) says the name is K-Deli. K-Deli is what I found them under with my delivery service. Apparently this is a grab and go place with limited seating. I got a boxed lunch and thought it was a great value. In the photos these are sitting out on a display table for people to grab quickly. This actually confuses me a little because there's a small window for how long you can leave cooked food at room temperatures, but I'm sure they've thought of that. I can see why some people who were expecting a full restaurant would be put off if they came in and saw minuscule seating and a microwave but I think it's brilliant. This is directly across the street from a college and it's perfect for people that just want to grab a quick lunch between classes or on the way to work. I actually think their website is doing them a disservice concerning their boxed meals. The description just says "Spicy Chicken" for my box lunch when you get so much more. Since there's no description I'm going to do my best to list the contents: clear noodles, kimchi, two vegetarian (?) sushi rolls, purple sticky rice (very good), chicken, what I'm guessing is thinly sliced tofu, and what seemed like a small fried spring roll (?) that I quite enjoyed. Unfortunately, my problem is that I just can't handle spicy food and at least half of the things in my box were spicy. I knew that going in but wanted to try it anyway. May be it is still new store, all qualities of the food are good. Hopefully they will keep it up. We like lunch box. They do have other selections in the menu such as Kimbob and bibimbob. We got bulgogi chicken and beef lunch box. The side dish is changed on different visit. We saw side like chicken nuggets, seaweed salad, slice scrambled egg, fried whole egg, imitation crab meat, goyoza, kimchi, and more. The bulgogi spicy chicken and beef is good. I like the beef better. One other thing is the fish cake soup. My wife like this item. If you eat it immediately, it is delicious. If you left overnight, the fish cake is a bit soggy. We made a side trip here on our way home to Orlando. They offered many varieties of Ramen, sweets and drink pouches.

I stopped by here today for a quick lunch, before I was performing a concert nearby at the University of South Florida. It was super fast service and excellent food, the combo boxes have lots of flavors and variety - loved it. I really liked the spicy chicken, a perfect and balanced taste, the rice and other items were also very good. The fish cakes were cold, not ideal for fried food, but I wouldn't take a star off for that considering everything else was 6 stars. I would definitely go back to this place if I'm visiting the Tampa/USF area again. It is an authentic place, great food, very reasonable prices, and you can tell why it's popular. There are just a few seats along a counter top, but it's not designed to be a sit-down restaurant set-up. I'm glad I tried it today!! read more

You can order online, but we happened to be at the location so we walked in and got some fried Korean egg pancakes, buchingae, and some bulgogi beef kimbop, think sushi rolls. Will have to come back to try some of the drinks, but I was carb'ed out for the day, which gives me an excuse to coke back. Came in here a while back during their first opening week but haven't had a chance to review. After reading all these 5 stars ratings I had to go back in and give you my own insight. Great concept - ok location and friendly customer service. Definitely not my vibe or cup of latte. Over priced & not worthy for what it is. I have been to both other Sa Ri One restaurant and those are ok. I personally don't like. To me it's basically a shop to grab food and microwave it! If that's the case - NO thanks I'll stay home. 1 star for overall experience for me. 1 star for lack of selections & totally disappointed for sure.
