Great concept - ok location and friendly customer service. Definitely not my vibe or cup of latte. Over priced & not worthy for what it is. I have been to both other Sa Ri One restaurant and those are ok. I personally don't like. To me it's basically a shop to grab food and microwave it! If that's the case - NO thanks I'll stay home. 1 star for overall experience for me. 1 star for lack of selections & totally disappointed for sure. Delicious food. Great price and large portions. My new go to lunch spot. The parking lot is kinda small. There is some space to sit inside and microwaves for you to warm up a lunchbox if you want to stay and enjoy your food. Their cucumber kimchi is delicious! Order from DoorDash and the order was prepared and completed in a timely manner. The order was packed nicely so that nothing would leak; order came with utensils. I found it a little bit strange that you need to order rice on the side (additional 50 cent charge), but no big deal. However, their kimchi jjigae was SO sweet to the point it was practically inedible. It had spice, but it didn't really matter. It was not sour whatsoever and was lacking all the traditional kimchi jjigae flavoring. I couldn't even eat half of it. Not sure if that's their recipe or if someone possibly made a mistake. I would be willing to try again, but their kimchi jjigae did not taste authentic whatsoever. read more

This store is a hidden gem in the area and deserves more praise and recommendations. I love that they offer a wide selection of imported snacks and lunch box options. I must say, their gimbaps are amazing. Additionally, I appreciate that they use purple rice instead of plain white rice for their dishes. I got the spicy chicken box and my fiancé got spicy pork bibimbap. Everything was delicious of everything in the box the chicken was flavorful but maybe a tad too much sauce? Nbd though because it was great on the rice, minor issue but the rice was a liiiiiiittle soft and wet. Japchae noodles were perfect, so yummy. 4/5 on authenticity but I'm pretty harsh so anything over 3/5 is good IMO. Decent portion on the bibimbap but much better value and variety with the box for only $12. It was two full meals for me and I even shared some with my fiance. They have a good assortment of Korean ice cream, snacks, drinks and instant Ramen too which was cool but more exciting were the fridges full of home made kim chi, jjigae (soups) and other banchan (cold side dishes) in the shop. No doubt we'll be back, especially if we're looking for a quick fast food meal but at fresh restaurant quality. read more

This is a small place primarily a food stop for college students, so don't go thinking you are going to have a fine dining experience, there is a lunch counter if you want to eat in the deli. Lots to choose from on the menu. I had Bulgogi Kimbob it was very good. There are about 100 different types and flavor ramen, rice noodle type packs to go. Cute, small shop with tons of imported snacks and foods. They sell quick lunch boxes and bites that are perfect for busy people on the go. I think their combo boxes are a good deal. The kimbap is a good size but why is it $10...that hurts my wallet. I also like dropping in to grab some kimchi or other banchan that they make and keep in the fridge. The service is always friendly. Overall, a great place to stop by for quick Korean bites if you're hungry and in a rush. read more

Sa Ri One had this bright idea to open a quick counter-service takeout style Korean food shop behind a popular plaza packed with university students. It is a great concept that I wish that every city had. I come here when I am in the area for this Tuna Mayo Kimbap. Not many restaurants will serve you a high quality loaded kimbap like SRO Kitchen, it's special. Also, their "bento" doshirak (lunchbox) here is fully loaded with a wide assortment of foods, more than you will get in any other "bento" box in Tampa Bay. You will see me here on a typical Sunday, picking up a lunch box and kimbap for lunch to brighten up my Monday. The grocery items here are convenient and sometimes rarer imports than you can find lately at the local Korean market. However, the you will pay a little higher for this convenience. read more

The store itself has a nice selection of products for its size and the service was very speedy (especially with how many people were waiting). Seating is of course limited, but most people were taking their orders to-go, so no big deal. There was quite a bit of food for the price. My mom enjoyed her japchae, but said the rice and spicy pork were kind of bland. My biggest complaint though is the rabokki I ordered. The sauce was very thin and watery, it had red and green bell peppers and shredded carrots in it (which I've never seen), there was no fish cake (even though it's in the photo on the menu), and it wasn't the least bit spicy. I think the bell peppers threw off the taste of the sauce. Even the egg and cheese I added couldn't save it. The menu photos and other photos on Yelp look very different from what I was served, so I don't know if there's a new cook or the rabokki has since been Americanized or what...but it's a no-go from me unless they change it back to how it used to look with thick almost shiny sauce, no vegetables other than green onion, and fish cake with the tteok and instant noodles. read more

I am so happy that I remembered this place was here and newer. I am always craving Asian food, whether it be Korean or other. So the fact that this is right down the street from me is even better! When I went, I ordered the bulgogi meal. I have to say that the meat was super tender and flavorful. Definitely worth trying, especially since I don't eat a lot of beef normally. Another thing that I love about this place is that they have so many other items to try. While waiting for your food to be prepared you can browse the store. They have different types of frozen mochi, drinks, kimichi, cucumber salad, Korean snacks and more! Not a sit down restaurant, which is what I was hoping for but for 1 or 2 people it's fine. Small space, no tables, not for groups of friends to meetup, there's some chairs at a long table against the wall. I got the Bulgogi combo box and would not recommend it or get it again if I ever come back. The meat was pretty plain and not too tasty, like quality bulgogi should be. Price was not too terrible, the lunch box was $13 and with a few snack items my lunch was $20. It's part small restaurant, to go place, and convenient store all in one. I was craving for some Korean food and decided to go try Sari One's new deli. They're located right next to cookie munchers and across from Staples. They have drinks and banchan dishes already available for purchase and we went to order. I've been looking for good bulgogi kimbibap and I've finally found it! It was so big and delicious! Staff greeted us when we walked in and we're very nice. They also have noodles, water for your noodles, and a microwave for use as well as a dining area. It was very clean and sleek in there. I would definitely go again! We went around 6pm and they were out of lunch bento boxes so it made sense. Go earlier if you want to get a lunch box! read more

I went back to K Deli for the first time in about 2 years and the cashier mentioned that it has changed ownership. I think the change was very much for the worse. I ordered the bulgogi beef lunch box and the beef is now basically steak-umms, very thin and very dry. Not up to the previous quality. It was disappointing. read more

Dear K-Deli, I love you! Kimbap is so freaking on point always! They are my favorite out of the places I've been to. Today I also tried the beef bibimbap and I regretted not ordering two of them, so delicious it's hard to stop eating it. And...THE MANDU! Yes! Kimchi and pork mandu is absolutely incredibly flavorful and so addicting! The place looks a bit messy but only because they carry so many items, but the food is the best. This fun eatery near USF neighborhood, provides authentic grab and go Korean food, drink and snacks. Delicious, convenient, and affordable is what I like about this place. My top favorite are the Bulgoki beef lunch box and fish cake soup. The box got rice, slice beef, dumpling, kimchi and others. It was so good I don't mind have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The broth of the soup was tasty ( better drink it when warm) and the different shape of fish cake got wonderful texture and flavor. There was one row of table and chairs for dine in. The microwave oven was presented for reheating the food. The employee were helpful and courteous. I will try the kimbap and dessert in the future. read more

The first time I came it was amazing, since I was in the area I decided that this would be my lunch. I ordered the kimchi kimbob for lunch and ttekbokki that I would have for dinner later. I come home and realized they gave me the wrong item instead of the ttekbokki it was fish cake soup. I was pretty sad considering that I have been craving ttekbokki for a while, I would say just to double check your food as they can get them wrong at times :(. The USF area has needed K-Deli for decades!!! I'm so happy that they moved in to what is basically the USF go-to for a quick bite to eat (the corner of Fowler and BBD). What is at K-Deli? bibimbap, bulgogi, spicy chicken, fish cake soup, various prepared veggies (kim chi, bean sprouts, seaweed, radish etc.), drinks, snacks, rice cakes, did I mention snacks and drinks??? Extremely satisfied with this place. Nice quick place to get something to eat. We live a good 30 mins away, had to wait a little after we got home to eat, then Sat down and the food was still warm and good to eat. The Kim bop, the combo, and the meat with rice dishes were all fantastic and we'll worth it. First time eating here so I had to get the bulgogi, and I would recommend this to anyone. The combo of it had the sweetness from the meat, the tangy from the pickled/Kimchi vegetables, the savory from the purple rice (and yes, it looks purple from what I am assuming is a mix of black and white rice). The combo hits every bit of your taste buds and leaves you quite full. For a less filling and equally as tastey meal, I suggest the Kim bop. Especially if you are on the go, the Kim bop was just as good and will probably be my go to from here on. read more

This month is AAPI Heritage month, so I'm going to be shining a spotlight on a different local Asian-American/Pacific Islander-owned restaurant each week! A little late to the show because it's been a busy weekend, so I'll have to double up this week! Last time, I visited a Vietnamese restaurant, and this time, I'm visiting a Korean-owned restaurant! TL;DR: Nice, small takeout restaurant with numerous grab and go options, drinks, and snacks. Awesome place for a quick, light lunch! Sometimes, you don't need something that's OMG mindblowing. There are some days when you want something nice and simple. I was in the mood for some japchae and kimbop. I just happened to be near USF, and I remember my fiancee's cousin recommending this cozy little spot in the same plaza as panera on bruce b downs and university square drive. There were a few seats for a student that might want to grab a quick bite, but seating is very limited. There were plenty of Korean drink options (I opted for a refreshing corn silk tea), lots of kimchi, soups, frozen desserts, and other snacks. The restaurant also had plenty of bento box options, like bulgogi, bibimbob, and other dishes. I went with a combo that included japchae and the chicken mayo kimbop! I didn't have to worry about getting them separately! Everything was fresh and light. Pretty much everything I wanted in those dishes. The service was fantastic! Friendly faces and tasty food.
