We went to Tampa for a concert and it got out late so I went on TikTok to see what spots Tampa had that were open late night and came across a video praising this food truck for great late night food. So we stopped by. They are parked in front of a strip club so I knew the food would be a hit . The menu is very straight forward. I wasn't as hungry as I thought I would be and I didn't want to order and waste food so I ordered the appetizer cracking orange chicken. My friends ordered the egg rolls , potstickers & bang bang shrimp & we shared across all of us. Everything was delicious. If I had a bigger appetite I would have ordered the hibachi and I would definitely order the bang bang shrimp again , I would even order the bang bang chicken too. Completely disgusting and over priced and I was over charged if the orange chicken appetizer is $12 and the steak hibachi which isn't real steak is $18 and 2 drinks is $4 how is my bill $45 it should be $34 + tax. I've been following Two Asians on IG for a minute now and was very eager to try. Wow! Due to the current Pandemic, they are not working from their traditional food truck, which I totally understand. They are temporarily located inside of Mickey's Subs on Armenia and their hours are 3pm-10pm. We ordered a hibachi fried rice with shrimp, chicken and steak and added broccoli! One order was more than enough for 3 people with some left over. We also got egg rolls, which may be the BEST egg roll I've ever had! Afterwards we were quite hungry but everything in downtown Tampa will either be super packed from the game crowds or close since it's 11:15 pm. Now the location might be off putting to some ( located in parking lot of strip club) and the fact that it's food truck to others. But the hibachi is decently priced and tasty. You can order your choice of meat with rice or noodles and you get two cups of yum yum sauce. Also their egg rolls are to die for. Best part is that they are open until 5 am. I wish they were opened during the day too, but I love the fact that they are open late night and give us the option to have an actual meal as opposed to fast food restaurants after a night out or even if you're just up late and hungry. Gonna be completely honest, just as I always am... I just was not impressed... I was raised by my Taiwanese grandmother so I've even plenty of stir fry in my life. I think what disappointed me the most was the fact that at the time I was ordering, I was craving Steak, like actual chunks of steak. I didn't realize it was not that kind, I was under the impression it was more of a Hibachi style place. Though the portions are HUGE, I wasn't impressed with the rice or the very small shrimp. The noodles had great flavor, my husband loved them! He wasn't a huge fan of the firecracker chicken either. We tried this place because of the reviews, and im sure this place at times is amazing for some. I just didn't get that WOW factor that I was hoping for tonight. Really funny guys and I think I possible went up to this food truck @ the food truck rally just because they were two Asian guys! As you can't tell I'm really into Asian fusion food and get excited when I see an Asian food truck. I wouldn't say their food is amazing but it's pretty good. I got their hibachi fried rice with steak. The flavor is good and the food was pretty cheap. They also have sushi and other dishes on their menu. Probably the best hibachi I've ever had! And this is a food truck! The guys that work the truck are pretty laid back and cool! I got to try the bang bang chicken, very delicious!
