    Bang Bang Shrimp

We went to Tampa for a concert and it got out late so I went on TikTok to see what spots Tampa had that were open late night and came across a video praising this food truck for great late night food. So we stopped by. They are parked in front of a strip club so I knew the food would be a hit . The menu is very straight forward. I wasn't as hungry as I thought I would be and I didn't want to order and waste food so I ordered the appetizer cracking orange chicken. My friends ordered the egg rolls , potstickers & bang bang shrimp & we shared across all of us. Everything was delicious. If I had a bigger appetite I would have ordered the hibachi and I would definitely order the bang bang shrimp again , I would even order the bang bang chicken too. If you're looking for some good late night food check out this food truck. It was great customer service & it didn't take very long for the orders to be made. The ambiance is outside of a club so it felt safe and busy.

If you know, you know--Two Asians and a Grill serves up the best hibachi in the city, hands down. This late-night food truck is a go-to for anyone craving serious flavor and massive portions that hit every time. Whether you're rolling out of Hyde Park Café or just need that post-midnight fix, this spot never misses and has fast service with great vibes. Right now they're posted up right across from Hyde Park Café, so you really have no excuse not to pull up. Trust me--once you try it, you'll be hooked for life.

    Chicken was full of flavor

Loved the food! Found this food truck on Yelp and it was open late night after work. Seasoned well and a nice size portion! Definitely going back.

We were in town for the Bucs game, Great service, very attentive, greeted us soon as we walked up. Vegan veggie option was a huge plus for me! Even spoke with Rafael on the side, just about life in general. The food was extremely good, I honestly thought he was bullshitten me when he said I would be able to finish it in one sitting‼ He didn't lie, looking forward to visiting again and stoping by again. I wish you guys nothing but more growth, and success..

I've been following Two Asians on IG for a minute now and was very eager to try. Wow! Due to the current Pandemic, they are not working from their traditional food truck, which I totally understand. They are temporarily located inside of Mickey's Subs on Armenia and their hours are 3pm-10pm. We ordered a hibachi fried rice with shrimp, chicken and steak and added broccoli! One order was more than enough for 3 people with some left over. We also got egg rolls, which may be the BEST egg roll I've ever had! Don't forget to grab the yum yum sauce- again, best I've ever had! Support small businesses when you can! They are our new favorites!

    This is their temporary location.

I gave this place a try twice, the food is good but not so much hibachi. The rice has peas and carrots, which they give you a looot of, the noodles are good not a hibachi taste but good but you don't get a lot of those. The meat is good as well.

This place is bomb for a late night eatery.....Ive had the fried rice, the chicken & steak, the egg rolls, the sushi it's amazing But I will say I had it while I was drunk and Ive had it being sober and both times were great!!!

This is one of my absolute favorite places in the Tampa Bay Area. I wish they were opened during the day too, but I love the fact that they are open late night and give us the option to have an actual meal as opposed to fast food restaurants after a night out or even if you're just up late and hungry. The service is wonderful. The food comes out pretty quickly and everything is fresh. Portion size? More than enough for one person! I always get the half rice, half noodle plate with shrimp & I add veggies. DELICIOUS. I literally do not have one bad thing to say about two Asians and a grill. Every experience has been great and I am already craving another plate!

This is my #1 Late night spot. Always posted up in front of the Pink Pony strip club which I find hilarious but the food is serious! The guys working there are super cool and really efficient, even when they are ridiculously busy (Which is every weekend). Food is amazing, definitely recommend the fried rice.

The standout dishes were the Papa's Egg Roll, the Black Brick Tower, and the Dan Dan Noodles. All three are must orders. The egg roll was packed with flavor and perfectly crispy, the Black Brick Tower was fresh and beautifully balanced, and the Dan Dan Noodles had the perfect combination of spice, richness, and texture. Honestly, every bite was amazing. The atmosphere was great for a date night, with attentive service and a fun, energetic vibe. It's not often that every dish exceeds expectations, but that was definitely the case here. We left already talking about what we want to order on our next visit. What I ordered: - Blackbrick Tower: Six steamed siu mai -- truffle sticky rice, shrimp & bamboo, chicken & chive - "Papa's" Egg Roll: Shrimp, Duroc pork, green beans -- grandmother's 100-year recipe - Dan Dan Noodles: Sichuan pork, local bucatini, Beijing sesame & peanut - Lobster Fried Rice: 10oz Maine lobster tail, scallion, egg thread - Brussels Sprout: Soy-braised, sesame - Ma La Fried Chicken Crispy, numbing chili -- the one guests remember

Fried rice was very mushy. One container of dumplings in the tower were just ground meat in wrapper (seemingly no flavor or green onion or anything mixed in so it was dry). The gator was tender but the general tsos sauce was pretty overwhelming and sweet. Brussels were also soggy and overly sweet. Salt and pepper shrimp tasted good but not crispy enough (though it was crispy compared to everything else). I liked the mushroom rice dumpling the best but it wasn't anything incredible. Wasn't really impressed by any of the food which was a disappointment because the place seemed to have potential. We were sat in a somewhat private back room due to the size of our party and we enjoyed it although it was humid and the AC was blasting in ways that had most us very damp and cold. A table was sat next to us and they left shortly after. We saw them at a different table on the way out so unless they moved because we were too loud (we weren't) I bet they left due to the temperature.

The two not so favorite dishes for me were the fried rice topped with fried chicken. While chicken was very tasty the rice was extremely basic. Could have used eggs or other ingredients to elevate this dish. Also the Volcano roll was extremely disappointing. Normally the volcano topping is cooked or (torched) and this topping was cold and very unappetizing. Would not recommend this roll. Overall this place is a hit or miss. I visited before a Rays game and was immediately impressed by both the service and the food. The staff was attentive without hovering, the pacing was excellent, and the entire experience felt polished and intentional. I ordered the Bibimbap with bulgogi steak, tofu, fried egg, kimchi, vegetables, gochujang, and crispy rice, along with two spring rolls. What stood out most was the balance. The dish delivered heat, sweetness, savory depth, texture, and freshness without relying on heavy sauces or excessive portions. Every ingredient maintained its own identity while contributing to the overall flavor of the dish. Too many restaurants create flavor by drowning food in sauce. Hawkers does it through seasoning, spices, and technique. There was no puddle of sauce at the bottom of the bowl, no overly sweet glaze, and no greasy heaviness. The rice absorbed flavor without becoming soggy, and the kimchi, vegetables, egg, tofu, and bulgogi worked together beautifully. The spring rolls were equally impressive. Light, crisp, delicate, and perfectly executed, with a thin wrapper and just the right amount of crunch. What impressed me most was that I left satisfied, not stuffed. The portions were thoughtful, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the flavors were layered rather than overwhelming. Since moving to Florida, this ranks as one of the best restaurant meals I have had. Highly recommended.

However, this time and the time past we were disappointed. I am a pescatarian and my daughter is a vegetarian, husband eats everything. They have removed so many GREAT items from the menu. The vegetarian section is literally stuff we make at home and we travel to eat here for the foods that are difficult or timely to make at home. Tom Yum (literally was the best EVER), baby bok choy, along with several other dishes are gone. I was left with eating Roti (great but fattening) and edamame. Again, I can make this at home. Worth a mention. We sat down and it took our server 20 minutes to greet us. We asked what was on draft, it says on the menu to ask, she handed us the menu (that we have already looked at for 20 minutes) and walked away. She complained that she had a huge table and was busy. No offense but...So...then ask someone else to handle our table. Not trying to be rude but we drove 1 hour and 45 minutes to specifically eat at this restaurant and you want to complain. So we waited ANOTHER 10 minutes and thank goodness the bar opened up with 3 seats. We moved after 30 min of waiting just for her to just take our drink order. Fortunately, the bartender was on point. She served our drinks and took our order. She is the reason for at least 3 stars. Not very happy about our last visit and friends have told us there are other places around there that the servers & menu will serve our needs better than our last experience. We never go to a restaurant and our bill is under $150. We work 6-7 days a week and are stressed just like many others. We just want good food, COLD drinks and friendly service.

**Sunda -- Asian Fusion (2nd visit)**…read more Went back to Sunda specifically for their limited-time Caviar Sunday, and it did not disappoint -- but let's start with the food that came before it. We opened with the **tiger shrimp tempura** -- candied walnuts and a creamy honey aioli. Smaller than I expected, roughly half-dollar sized, but tender, sweet, and generous in portion. The candied walnuts and honey aioli combo leaned sweeter than a classic honey walnut shrimp, with a little bang bang shrimp energy minus the spice. Trying to pace ourselves for dessert, we kept the rest light: the signature crispy rice (Wagyu and spicy tuna versions, split two apiece), The Great White (escolar), and the lemongrass beef lollipops. The Great White was well-balanced and delicious. The lemongrass beef -- sliced NY strip wrapped around a lemongrass stalk with ginger soy -- was solid but not a standout; the lemongrass flavor was subtle and the chili barely registered. Fair warning: it comes out well past medium-rare since it's wrapped and cooked that way, and the server didn't ask for a temperature preference. Good, but not something I'd reorder. The crispy rice was tasty but not a personal favorite -- the Wagyu and spicy tuna toppings themselves were great, just not sold on the crispy rice base. The standout of the savory round was the lobster Wagyu roll -- lobster and Wagyu tataki with a duck pâté aioli, sort of a surf-and-turf sushi roll. Pricier than the other rolls, but the combination justified it. Definitely ordering that again. **Now, the main event: Caviar Sunday.** Our server mentioned this particular caviar brand is a favorite of a certain pop star's, which was a fun detail. The tower itself was a showpiece -- diced and quartered dragon fruit, lychee, blueberries, crispy rice balls (first time trying those, loved them), plus passionfruit and ube sauces on the side. It came with turon (Filipino plantain egg rolls) and vanilla ice cream, essentially a build-your-own sundae kit with caviar mixed in. Caviar with ice cream sounded strange going in, but the salt-sweet balance worked. Genuinely unique, and I'd order it again without hesitation. It's not cheap, but it's roughly half the price of their standalone caviar entrée for the same amount of caviar -- so relatively speaking, it's the smarter way to get it. Service was excellent throughout -- good pacing suggestions so we didn't over-order before dessert, and when we couldn't finish the tower, our server packed the leftovers carefully on ice so we could enjoy round two at home. My one regret: ordering a double espresso with dessert. Good on its own, but it clashed with the tropical, ice cream-heavy flavors -- that one's on me, not the kitchen. Sunda remains a place I'll keep coming back to.

For parking it was easy as there's a parking building and also it was free. Our server was Germaine, very nice, but the biggest challenge with our night is that he seemed very busy with a lot of tables so everything took forever from getting the menu, to our drinks, to taking our order etc. The place is beautiful, where we sat tables were very close and it looked like a setup for speedating you can hear the Side table conversation, but it didn't bother us, the ambience was very nice. We had: Shishito peppers: great very well made Sunda cones: very good, very small, which server did tells us. One of them the tuna tasted a bit fishy, but the other ones were very good Island maki: very good Lobster wagyu : awesome To drink: we asked for a custom made drink with mezcal and tajin on the rim, but we got a drink that was too spicy with spicy salt on the rim, without letting us know takin was not available and took forever to come. The overall experience was 4 stars but at the end we ordered dessert on time, and after waiting about 25 minutes our server and manager came to tell us that the chef had shut down and didn't see our order. They adjusted check accordingly and got us another dessert but it was way too many things happening already. I appreciate Jacob de manager who came to talk to us directly that was very professional, but definitely an opportunity to improve for next time. Dining out is an experience, and all details should come together to enhance the flavors in the palate, service, ambience and taste.
