Came here to get a fill no new set! They kept insisting I get a new set and I told them no,my nails are just fine. Then they asked if I wanted them cut and I told them no just a fill. Anything to rack up the bill. They did not file them like I requested and cut the down anyway! When they were done they over charged me. I will not be going back! Bunch of rip offs! DIRTY DIRTY DIRTY! Went for pedicure and I told the tech I had regular polish on my nails (I repeated myself 3 times) and she proceeded to attempt to use an acrylic carbide drill bit to remove my nail polish and I had to firmly tell her not to use that on my natural nail and to just use acetone to remove my nail polish. She could have severely damaged my natural nails with that drill bit. She then proceeded to reach for tools on her cart that were -no joke- covered in someone else's cuticle skin on me. I had to ask for clean and sanitized tools to be used during my service. At the end of my service I checked out and told the person checking me out (who I now believed to actually be the owner) that I did not appreciate them trying to use dirty tools on me and he said "oh I'm just an employee", so I asked for the manager, and he pointed to a woman who was performing a service and was clearly watching the entire scene unfold and she decided to not address the issue. This is an unacceptable practice to use unsanitary tools and equipment and is absolutely in violation of state regulations. It is poor management and customer service. I will be reporting to the state board Because apparently that is the only way to hold these chop shops accountable for performing dirty services. Also- in reading reviews, stating that they have removed peoples ingrown nails - that is a service that should only be completed in a medical setting. Regular nail salons do not have the medical grade sanitation equipment to clean their tools to ensure that a surgical removal of a nail will not be infected. Nail techs in the state of Arizona are required to have a medical license in order to remove any type Of ingrown. if this is being practiced at any nail salon that you go to, it needs to be reported to board of cosmetology immediately. It is in violation of Arizona state regulations. read more

Unfortunately during Ken and Lily's vacation they lost me as a customer. Those left in charge were not professional, respectful nor accommodating. I had my nails done ok by a male that hurt me several times. Then he could not do my design I requested before any service was done. I waited over an hour for the head female that was going to finish my design when she finally said she wouldn't do it that day. She was too busy. I made an appointment to return the next. Only to be told the next day I arrived for my appointment that she was still too busy. They don't understand nor care the concept of appointments. Went to K Nails & Spa on Lake Pleasant Road for a relaxing pedicure after being on my feet for 5 hrs. this morning. Was assigned a young male tech (which was a red flag for me). He started out okay, but he clipped my toe so much it wouldn't stop bleeding for over 5 minutes. A young girl came over but was no help, nor was the manager. They were somewhat apologetic. They never even offered a free pedicure. My toe hurt so much I just wanted to go home. Needless to say, I will not be returning. read more

Ken is the best he does the best acrylic nails. He did the Hailey Bieber nails for me today and they are the perfect shape and color. He does a really good job on all the trendy nails and it's hard to find someone that does a good almond shape. 10/10 recommend. Also if you need a pedicure Tiffany does the BEST massage. Went to K Nail Spa because it was a convenient location. It wasn't clean, no clean towels at the nail stations, files & buffers look like they haven't been replaced in weeks. They don't sanitize the clippers, etc. that are used on each client either. Only 1 person speaks English so its obviously hard to communicate. Won't be going back. read more
