DO NOT get acrylics here, they do the acrylic so thin that the nails break after only having them for a couple days, I had 4 of my nails break completely off after only having them for a week. the first nail came off after 3 days. others were cracked and i had to remove them myself. read more

The people seemed fine but I can tell they hurry and don't seem to truly care about quality work. I've never been to this salon but a group of friends met there. It was almost $100 with tip to get shellac on my toenails and fingernails. After 5 (FIVE) days (salon visit was on February 25th) I've already lost polish. It chipped and lifted. I have two more lifting. The only thing that would make up for the poor work is a refund. I do not recommend this salon. I don't even know where to begin..... this is the 2nd time I've been to this salon and have had such poor service, I don't know how they are when still in business. I called at 10am to see if they had 2 available pedicure spots, and new set with Katie, I was told yes come at 1130. We arrived at 1130, and waited until 12 for our pedicure to start, I kept watching the time because I know that it takes a few hours to have these services done. I was assured multiple times I would be done by 145 in time to pick up my daughter from school, in wich I cannot be late for. As pedicures were finished katie still hadn't arrived, it was now 115, she finally comes in at 130 and insisted she starts my full set, I said ok but I have to leave at 145 to pick up my daughter, she then kept assuring me that it will be fine, so at 155 I finally said I'm sorry I have to go, my 7yr old needs me to pick her up!! I told her I would be back at 240 so she can finish , upon arriving at 240 she was working on another client, and told me it will be a minute! I said no I will pay for our pedicures and my daughters dip, but I am not waiting anymore for Katie. She would not take no for answer , she physically touched my doughter guiding her back into the salon, when we clearly stated no thank you, she overstepped her boundaries by touching and trying to get us to sit down and not cause a scene, Katie assured me she was going to make it right, she said she was going to give me a discount for making me wait, mind you we were there for a total of 5 hours because of her tardiness. When it came time to pay there was a $4 discount, seriously I said no. Her discounted total was $224, what? I gave her $220 because I don't want anything for free, but how insulting. She stood up, started yelling at me trying to tell me she did a good job and her services are worth more than that. I just told her that her way of making her and her employee's mistakes right were totally wrong. This was the second time I had an appointment and had to wait for 30 or more minutes passed my appointment time. My advice is never use this salon, they are not high end , even tho location may say otherwise. And their customer service is horrible. While there were other customers in the salon she was kind and accommodating but when the salon was empty she stood up raised her voice and became very aggressive. If I could give zero stars I would. I will never return to this salon and I will be sure to let everyone I know about my terrible experience. Do better Katie at K nails. read more

Do not recommend at all. Stuck through their bs service due to really needing a pedi and something on my nails. But definitely will not be stopping by again. When I had walked in, I asked if they had time before asking to have anything done. I was told yes and was sat down.They were not busy at all but the young girl dressed in all brown with a scar on her right forearm just seemed to be annoyed and bothered to be asked to do a clients nails. Tried not to pay attention to her and just focus on getting my pedi and mani that I needed. I got a regular pedicure and gel manicure. The young girl doing my nails kept trying to upsell me on one of the more profitable pedicures or to do gel on my toes. I insisted that I was okay with a regular pedicure. If it's an issue for nail techs to do this or any of the less costly services then as a business why offer it?? Limit your services to what you actually want to be compensated for. To shut her up I told her I would be tipping 10$ cash. Pedi was good. Nails were uneven and poorly shaped. Not once was I asked if I liked them or if I wanted her to fix anything. Yes I am aware I could've spoken up. But due to the aggressive passive energy from her I decided not to. Now time to pay. I gave her my card, she looked at it and pointed to the ATM machine, she didn't ASK me if I could take money out. She was demanding and pointed LOL. Girl NO. I saw the Apple Pay sign and told her I could do Apple Pay. She rolled her eyes and just swiped my card. So after doing that I decided to not do the 10$ cash tip and ended up tipping her 5$ via card. My first visit to this particular salon was ok, so I decided to give it another shot that was a big mistake. I came two days before I had a flight out of PDX and I was assigned to a newer lady I hadn't seen before, I gave her a picture of the oval shape I wanted and she reassured me over and over that she was able to do the shape. Two hours into "shaping" my nails I gave up and politely asked her to take it off, I also requested that someone else do my nails consindering she could not. She then says "it's too late you can come back tomorrow" at this point im upset because I didn't have 3 hours to spend in a salon to NOT have my nails done. While she is taking the dip off that she did such a deplorable job on she cuts me, when I bring it to her attention she says "you're only bleeding a little bit" by this point my patience has ran out and I requested to speak with a manager however he/she was unavailable. On a separate note however within the same visit I got a pedicure prior to getting my nails done. I requested more hot water because the water was not hot enough. The lady providing the service told me it was warm enough and another nail Tech sitting at a manicure station ACROSS THE ROOM said "that's as hot as our water gets". She started over booking my appointments, rushing through mine, the prices are never posted here, and they always change and go up way above prices I've ever paid. The nails lift, fall off, I've try to bring it to her attention and I'm just dismissed. I'm saddened as she is so good at what she does but she has definitely forgotten how she started and the clients that were there from the beginning and helped her become as successful as she is today. Asked for rounded tip and got a very narrow tip. The acrylic was applied too thick and bumpy. She used the drill a lot which made my fingers hurt for hours after. My right hand has a differently shaped nail for each finger. From far away, they are pretty. I would pay about $25 for this quality though. Not $70. TERRIBLE, HORRENDOUS. My sweet mama came in yesterday to get her nails and toes done, Cody the owner was doing her nails and he did a crappy job. She wanted a dip French tip so you obviously need a nude for that, but he gave her a color that was practically her skin tone? like he gave her the option of HIS version of a nude, and then she asked him if he could do a lighter one that would look better on her skin and yes he did do that; later in the story you're going to hear more of that. but then he gave her gel for the white when she said she wanted dip. (and later that EXACT day it was already chipped) and it was wayyyy too thick like if you look up bubble nails it was kinda like that but not as bad. The lady said since my mom didn't like it that she could come again and get a FREE fix up. So today we came in and the female owner was removing her bad nails and then she said my mom was going to have to pay 30$. and then she was saying "He spent a lot of time on you and has to take it off and do a different nude on you" But that is not her fault that HE messed up. he wouldn't need to spend so much time if he didn't mess up? I would like to know if he even has a nail license cause he did such a bad job. My mom went to the nail place near dicks sporting goods, they were professional from the start. they asked her if she wanted all dip or if she wanted gel for the white part. and then she said she wanted all dip so they brought her to someone who could do that. and they brought her 4 different options of nudes for her. Came in to the salon at 6:15 on a Saturday night, there was one other customer. I asked for a full set, they assured me they had the time. The man I was working with, while nice, took 2 hours just to do the acrylics. I checked in with him throughout the process because I was getting tired, and he continued to assure me that he had time to do the designs I asked for. At the end of the acrylic, he put on a clear pink base and asked me to come back the next day so his wife could do the design. He ended up charging me $56 for the full set, and when I went to pay with a debit card, he asked me to use the ATM instead. He assured me that there would be no fees, and that it would be easier this way. I gave him the cash, and he didn't have any change to provide back to me, so he promised to credit me back the next day. I ended up giving him a $20 tip because I felt bad that the service took so long, in retrospect that was his fault, not mine considering we never even began the designs. Next day comes, I get off work early to have enough time for the designs I wanted. The wife in question has no customer service skills, continued to call my ideas ugly, and even though I had picture references of what I wanted, she couldn't execute them properly. I asked her if we could change up one of the designs for the nail, and she just went to another nail instead. I finally realized that she was not going to listen to what I wanted, so I asked that she take everything off and just do the clear pink base again. When she finished doing so, she asked for $10. I went to the ATM since that was requested of me last night, and the ATM charged my account but gave no money back. This is when I realized that the ATM does in fact charge an ATM fee, and I was charged not only this transaction but the one from the night before as well. When I told the wife what happened she said it was my bank, not her ATM. Even though the charge says the name of her business, ATM, and her business location. I ended up paying the $10 with Apple Pay, hopefully I can get that other $21.50 back. They shouldn't be forcing customers to pay in cash and if they don't have the change to provide back, and have the full ability to use Apple Pay or card instead. I was really excited about this salon due to its business hours and being able to go after a long work day but overall, do not recommend. read more

They had my friend and I check in and then we waited in the lobby for 30 minutes without any acknowledgement before we left. Its not often I get to make time to go get nails n pedi done bc i have a baby at home. I went there to relax and treat myself + had the most stressful time there. The lady that did my nails had an excuse+ argument for every request I've made it was so frustrating. I felt like i needed to justify what I wanted every step of the way. Not to mention everytime id ask or request something specific, she'd either speak to her peer in Vietnamese which made me feel so uncomfortable or NOT ANSWER ME AT ALL. I wish I could give no stars!!!! Went in last Sunday with my girlfriend. We were impressed with the shop at first glance. We were seated and the techs were nice. I asked for dip nails with a flower on my ring fingers she said no problem. I picked my color and showed her a picture. Just wanted my two ring fingers white with simple daisy type flower. The girl dipped my ring fingers first in color and then with white so I could see the underneath green color. She said she needed to do that for the design. I've been getting my nails dipped for over 2 years and have never had to put a regular color underneath. After 3 attempts at a flower I just asked for a glitter overlay. The tech "Tammy" then got very upset and very rude. I stayed friendly checked out and left. Immediately I noticed my thumb was bubbly. My girlfriend also got a chip layer that afternoon. We went back Monday afternoon. Were treated VERY rudely. At the end of the Vix we asked to speak to the manager. We were told she was too busy to speak to us. Would not take 5 min away from a manicure to discuss our concerns. Also side note while I was waiting to get my nail fixed another client came in and attempted to privately speak with manager who rudely told her she didn't have time and would have to wait 30 min. The client told her that she was doubly charged on her cc card. She was more patient than I would have been she was coming back in 30 min.
