This is a little run of the mill nail spa located in a strip mall. But their pedi prices run like they're an Elizabeth Arden Red Door spa. My pedi for $80, on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, was a solid 5. The massage was barely felt because it was so light. The polish application was good, that's what got them one star on their rating. The place also looked very clean, appreciated that. Very nice nail techs. But not worth the money. read more

I just visited this spa today and although it was very nice and I appreciated that they followed strict COVID guidelines I just realized that online it states that a regular pedicure is $39 and I was charged $44. Linh the nail tech was very nice and I'm sure if I had spoken up and realized when I was paying she would have told me why I was being charged $5 more but regardless I would probably visit this place again but would want them to tell me if the prices changed prior to paying. Merit Spa is exactly the salon I've been looking for. It's owner operated, exceptionally clean and following best practices for hygiene. The salon is lovely, serene and comfortable. Linh does beautiful and thorough work, (my hands and feet always look good) AND she's super nice. Appointments are easy and everything is done very efficiently. There are lots of other services available like eyebrow shaping, waxing and skincare. Linh really is the best and I appreciate her skills and attention to detail. What a fabulous experience from start to finish! I live 90+ miles from this spa and when I come to town I like to stack my appointments and get the most out of my day. I respect her professional skills so much and her long extended amount of experience in this field. I recently visited Merit Spa for the first time. I had a wonderful experience! My pedicure was perfect. I had a mango mimosa during the service and it was very tasty. I smudged my big toe during the drying process and they insisted on fixing it before I left, even though it was totally my fault. Chose to go here because of the good reviews and one of the places near me that did "natural" nail care. Since I am pregnant I am staying away from the chemical smells. Booked my appointment online and it was super easy. The place was fairly easy to find and there were lots of parking. (Private parking as well as street parking). I got what I believe was the deluxe manicure and my daughter had her nails painted (she is 9). When we arrived the technician had just finished with her client and so we signed in and filled out the Covid questionnaire and were asked to choose our polish colors. The technician got my station ready and had me sit at my station while she painted my daughters nails. I figured mine would be second since it would take longer. There was just one technician btw, whom was very friendly and professional. Pedicure was amazing and I felt like she did a little extra with the foot massage since I am pregnant. So 5 stars for that. The reason for my 4 stars was there wasn't many polishes to choose from. I would say that maybe they had about 40 or so. And some of the polishes looked like they were old. Perhaps if they upped their polish game I would go back. read more

I cannot imagine why anyone would leave less than 5 stars for this salon. I have visited Linh for years now, (with a short break during covid) and she's become like family. My 6 year old daughter has been with me a handful of times and she wants to own a spa when she is older because of the way Linh makes her feel. She will treat you like the most important customer! I am always greeted with a smile. Linh and her staff are efficient and friendly. I love the text message reminders for appointments. I love my shellac manicures every time and they rarely last less than 3+ weeks! If I ever have a "lift" or "chip" Linh is very accommodating to fix immediately and quickly. ( I am VERY hard on my nails!) My feet have never felt better! Try the deluxe pedi. Linh is the epitome of customer service. She works very hard and takes pride in her craft. The staff is extremely costume focused and their prices competitive. The shop was extremely clean. I say shop because the facility isn't spa like in my opinion. They have pedicure chairs in the front of the shop with facial rooms to the right. All in all I enjoyed my facial. They made sure they told me the products that they were using a few times throughout the process. The one thing that I didn't like was the fact that the facial room is too close to the front of the shop which allowed the noise from the rest of the shop to creep into the room.
