I like the headlights and tail lights I purchased, but had a couple of minor issues that I ended up spending money on and correcting myself. After 4 months of use one of the headlight connectors burnt and I had to put a pigtail connector and bulbs in it. One of my LED "bulb out warning" resistors melted its heat shrink and fell off my truck. Since it was not a mounting/installation issue, I reached out but K2 DID NOT RESPOND to my email. I went ahead and bought some resistors of a different design and have corrected the issue out of pocket...again. I am very disappointed in the lack of response from the company. If any sort of service after the sale is important to you then I'd advise considering another brand. read more

Purchased a set of headlights from them and were installed by my mechanic. They did not work properly and seemed to have an electronic problem. Called this company and informed of the issue, had to jump through a few hoops but finally they sent a replacement set. Again had the same mechanic install the replacement set and within 5 minutes the lens started to melt and bubble. Call them back and they said yes sounds like a defect and to send photos and description of issue. Then they refused to replace a clearly defective product and no refund. Do not purchase headlights from this company they are selling poor products and do not stand by their customers. Out $300 plus dollars and no working headlights. read more

This company is garbage! I purchased some retro headlights and taillights from this company. The taillights were okay, but the headlights were a disaster! The housing for the projector were assembled poorly! These projectors were mounted sideways! I had to come out of pocket to have them professionally fixed and mounted correctly! Had to pull the whole lens cover off of the housing to properly angle them straight! As is there is no adjustment for these! Customer service is crap! They asked me to revise my bad review for them and that they would reimburse me the price for the headlights. Well I went ahead and did so thinking they would honor their word. Boy was I wrong! I'm still trying to figure out if this is the manufacturer or a reseller of Chinese made junk! Bought $500 worth of LED tail lights and projector headlights here a few days ago.. Been nothing short of a nightmare with the product itself and the lack of response from these people Product Seems well built until you start the install. Then you shortly find out wiring is too short by about 2" for C LED in headlamps to connect to parking lamps without putting undue stress on the connections, the two prong connectors on wires for headlamp bulbs are absolute junk. Had to cut the connectors off and drive to autozone for replacement headlight connectors to connect to factory harness. Taillights, well, they installed perfectly and blinked normally for about 10 minutes. Now I have the dreaded hyper-flashing issue and their support team is absolutely useless. Takes them minimum of 24 hours to respond to you via email, then the next response is at least that long as well, no one ever answers the phones. This has been going on for 5 days now!! First they told me they can't send replacement resistors because they're embedded in the circuit board to which I respond to them with a pic of the actual resistor it came with that requires to be mounted and then plugged into connector on lamp assembly. Now no response again some 24+ hours later, going on day 6! My advice, don't buy from these people. HORRIBLE AT BEST!!! read more

Their reply was, since they drop ship this item & don't actually have it in stock, they couldn't provide this information to me. I get it, many companies like this want you to think they have all these parts available for "Joe The Customers" when they drop ship from their supplies, my issue is, Exactly how hard would it had been for them to email their supplier on the size in question I was wishing to purchase from them, wait for a reply, and then provide to me. I purchased some headlights for my 2005 Ford F150 on Ebay from K2Motor. The guarantee is for 6 months. I got mine for a christmas gift late last . I put them on in March. One of the headlights was water all over the inside before it had 6 months of being in service. I contacted K2motor, to get a replacement at no charge, but they would not do it, because it was purchased 9 months ago, even though the headlight did not have 6 months usage. I asked for a discount to replace the defective one, but they do not sell individual lights. The bottom line is their quality is terrible and they do not stand by their product. Shipped to me. I have 11 emails, 3 phone conversations and still no return or refund. These people are masters at the return game and Buyer beware if you have to return an item. Purchase BMW e38 tail lights less than a year ago that are now clouded up. The car sits all year under a water resistant cover and is never driven in rain. I contacted customer service to inquire about why this has happened and was there anything that they could do? They tell me sorry but you are out of warranty. Ordered these headlights from them for my car off amazon.. The lights came and worked for 2 months then the led lights on one side went out and I called them to try to buy replacement lights.. It took an hour just to get a hold of anyone and they said to send a payment through PayPal and they will ship me the lights.. So they took my payment but two weeks later I still don't have the lights, and I also don't have a shipping confirmation and when I try to call them back they put me on hold right away.. Has to be one of the worst companies ever. ***update*** the lights ended up coming a week later, but then a week after that they burnt out on the other side yet again...which led to me to have to call the company yet again and wait on hold for a few hours to order more. My son ordered Louvers for his 2006 mustang. They came in and the brackets did not fit the holes on the Louvers. We sent them back and was sent new ones. The holes on the louvers on the second set were, again, too small. This is not a way to run a business. This company should have checked the holes BEFORE sending out the replacement Louvers. Ordered a pair of JDM headlights for a client. Got K2 Motor through Ebay. Shipping was fast. Two months in the headlight assembly started to have condensation. Emails sent. Weeks has passed, nothing. Sent out another email. They stated it was shipped out already. A few more days later. Nothing. Emailed again and stated that it was delivered already. Checked cameras, no delivery at "supposedly" delivered in front of the door. Emailed again and told them about it. All I got back is "it was delivered not my problem". Do not order from them! Bad products and bad customer service. I bought fender flares from these guys because the price was better than everyone else's. I quickly found out why. The flares were warped slightly and the red backing on the adhesive tape was coming off a large portion of the edge trim. I decided to go ahead try and make it work mostly because when I received the first shipment I got 2 front drivers side flares and had to return the kit for a new one so I wanted this to be done. Another bad decision. The adhesive did not hold up well so one of the flares began to peel away from the fender. I just got done speaking to them and won't send me more edge trim. They won't even sell me any. I'm screwed. Leave these people alone. They deserve it. read more

Bought a set of headlights and tail lights for my Dodge Ram truck off of their ebay store. While installing, the cheap plastic mounts broke and the screws were not right size. The lens of headlights started fogging and quickly discolored. The tail light connector on driver side would not secure and the tail light bulbs kept going out. Had to wrap with electrical tape. Let company know but totally worthless POS. Stay away from this company. read more

I ordered some headlights for my Mazda 3 and the high beam projector motor is going out and has nothing to do with what I have done with them. The company won't take responsibility for putting weak motors in the headlights and I've only had them for 7 months. Honestly worst customer service. I was told on the phone I was getting a one time exception but when a representative emailed me told me that the warranty went out and was willing to give me a discount. I purchased a set of LED taillights that arrived damaged. Spoke with customer service who shipped a replacement set right away. Approx. 3 months had gone by and 1 of the 18 LED bulbs stopped working in passenger side taillight. Dale, in customer service, was helpful and sent a replacement. Although 90 days had elapsed, he still honored the warranty because with the initial replacement time, I had not been in possession of the taillights for 90 days. Good customer service. ***UPDATED: 12/09/2013*** Well, K2 Motor Corporation's customer service went from good...to unsatisfactory...to unacceptable. The taillights I purchased are $180 paper weights. The third set of taillights failed approximately two month after arrival. I contacted K2 and requested a full refund or a replacement via a different model, hoping the horrible product quality was isolated to that specific taillight model. Customer service replied and stated that since the 90 day warranty window had elapsed, they could not refund my purchase nor would they provide a replacement set. Instead, they suggested that I should call the company so they could provide me with a "discount" on my next purchase. There will never be a "next purchase" from K2 Motor Corporation. I advise anyone that is considering a purchase from this company to look elsewhere. The product quality is beyond poor and the somewhat decent customer service quickly diminishes after the sale. Horribly run business. It should be noted that I have purchased many LED type lights in the past. All of those lights are still functioning to this day, as LED's should.
