Blake was quick to reply to my original email inquiry and we were able to get an appointment that weekend to visit the shop and check out the wood slabs. During our appointment, he let us look at any piece that caught our eye and took the time to tell us pros and cons based on our needs and the space we described it would be going into. He was also very clear about their process and how it would impact the look of the table (bark removal, resin filling, etc.,) which was so helpful. Blake was honest about the turnaround time and said he would do his best to get us our table by Thanksgiving (ordered end of Aug). We knew he had several orders to work through before ours so we just kept our fingers and toes crossed. I checked in with him about 2 weeks before Thanksgiving and he said he would have our table ready within a few days! Pick up was super easy and all we had to do was screw on the legs at home. The table and bench are beyond beautiful and are truly one of our best statement pieces in the house. We HIGHLY recommend Elpis & Wood if you are in the market for any live edge pieces. I'd gone to several…read moredifferent furniture stores and narrowed down what I was looking for in terms of style and color, and the fact that I definitely wanted the brand, Stanton, but with the long lead times for all ordered furniture, was referred to Furniture World because they have access to a large number of styles in stock. Specifically, with Stanton. (If you're not aware, it's a furniture manufacturer based in Oregon with great quality and fabulous warranty.) Anyway, I went and Brandy was the PERFECT combination of available, helpful, and not pushy. I was able to explore and try different pieces, ask questions, and she gave great recommendations. She was beyond patient while I FaceTimed my husband, shared dimensions, and even helped me drag cushions outside to see the colors in the daylight. They have great availability for arranging delivery, and it's very reasonable. Another quick side note that just made me pleased to shop here: A gentleman came in while I was there looking for office chairs, and while it's not a product they sell, Brandy still gave him recommendations and advice on where to go for a good selection. Finally, the atmosphere among the people working there was exactly what you'd hope for. It's not a team of salespeople competing against each other for a sale, it's people that seemed to genuinely enjoy each other's company, chatting about life outside of work, what you'd hope for in a work environment. It seemed too good to be true, so I went to the store, skeptical but curious. The owners were incredibly kind and explained that they could offer these prices because of their reduced overhead. Reassured, I decided to go for it and ordered the couch. They initially told me it would take 2-3 weeks, but I was pleasantly surprised when they called only five days later to schedule delivery for that weekend, meaning my couch arrived within just one week from purchase. The delivery team was great; they set up the couch, removed all the packaging, and left everything looking perfect. As promised, the sofa came with tags from Ashley Furniture and all the warranty information. My experience was fantastic, and it's disappointing to see some negative reviews because I've been telling all my friends and family about this incredible find. We had our last couch for 4 years and it still looks brand new - so changes in shape or color. However, my poor review is based on their $150 delivery service. It was a horrible experience!!! Our delivery time was scheduled for 12 to 3pm and we were the 3rd stop. We live 5 miles from the Dania Lynnwood store. The delivery men did not show up until 5:30pm. Waaaaaay past the scheduled time & the only notification they give you is a link that repeatedly updates the time. No one calls or lets you know how long of a delay it will be. We wasted 5.5 hours of our day sitting at home waiting for the delivery. I do not appreciate people who waste my time! We also found out from the drivers they came from Lake Stevens on the last delivery (much farther in distance than our home) and they had 2 homes with 20 pieces each to assemble/deliver. Keep in mind, ours was 1 couch which only took 30 mins to assemble. WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE 1st delivery, not the LAST! Very poor planning on their delivery service. This experience actually makes me think twice about shopping with Dania again.
