Wow the portions are huge! Every time I eat here, I have so many yummy leftovers. Anything with the chicken is so delicious, since the chickens is grilled and seasoned so well. The garlic sauce is an added bonus. The salad is incredible. Love the lemony dressing and seasonings. Even the rice pilaf is delicious. Highly recommend trying some of the lunch menu items like pizza, burritos, quesadilla, burger, etc. everything is so delicious! I keep coming back and trying more things on the menu because so far I've enjoyed every meal I've had. The vibes are cool and casual (love the olive tree) and the employees are very nice but it can be slow due to popularity. Let me start with my kids love it. But then again they're 9/12. Is it good? Sometimes. My issue is consistency. When you order fast food, you know what to expect. Why? They make it all the time. Is this fast food? No. It cost more so there should be a level of expectation of consistent proportions with the value of what they charge. I've ordered the lunch and dinner portions and they are always off. I've had uncooked about 6-7 times In the past year and were there about once a week. Why do I go back? My kids love it. They don't know better. But it's always about $100 each visit. Hummus? Yep, it's delicious and a nice portion with two fluffy pitas ONLY IF YOU DINE IN. But carry out or Togo? You get a smaller portion and 1 sad piece of what you could buy at the grocery store pita that's cut I to 4. I've had a bigger tortilla Here's the kicker, THEY CHARGE YOU THE SAME PRICE. Totally unacceptable. I've bit my tongue for a long time. I'm over it. After I ordered take out for my self this past week and it was only a dinner chicken portion with hummus and the chicken being portioned like a lunch size, uncooked and sad hummus container when I got home. Came in for dinner and were seated right away. I ordered the Combo Kabab dinner, and the portion size was very generous. All three meats were flavorful and cooked well, and the rice was excellent. The salad was fresh and nicely seasoned, with a simple yet tasty dressing. The food took a little while to arrive, and we noticed that some guests who were seated after us received their meals first. However, the restaurant appeared to be understaffed that evening, so it was understandable. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very well maintained, which made for a pleasant dining experience. We enjoy dining here and will definitely be back. read more

There was a good amount of people on a Saturday night. The place looked nice and clean with plenty of tables. I ordered for pickup and my food came out shortly. Got the combo kabab, burger with fries, and hummus with pita bread. The flavors were really great. The chicken and beef kabob were a bit dry. The side salad and the fries were also good. I think the hummus stole the show, though. I also got the baklava, and it just looked small and disappointing for $3. It definitely didn't taste fresh, and it was very dry and soggy. Never disappoints. This place is very clean & the staff are friendly. It smells delicious in here. It's a rainy day, I wish I had something hot to drink, but a bowl of fresh hot fries will do. Finally made it out to Kabob City, and I'm so glad we did! It's still new (only a few weeks to a month open), but already feels like a spot we'll return to. The vibe is interesting , it's more of a casual sit-down than a full restaurant, but with table service. It's not a big space, so by the time we arrived around 8 p.m. (they close at 9), it was busy. Seating feels a little in-between , not quite formal restaurant, not fast-casual, but it works! Now, the food. Do not skip the beef shawarma fries. Perfectly crispy, medium-cut fries loaded with flavorful beef shawarma and sauces that tie everything together. Easily one of the stars of the night. The fattoush salad is another must-order with pita chips for crunch, bright seasoning, and refreshing flavors that balance heavier dishes beautifully. My salmon entree was thick, juicy, and perfectly tender, with a great sear and seasoning. My husband went for the gyro wrap paired with the fattoush salad as well, and the wrap itself was light, fluffy, and stuffed with fresh ingredients. Every bite was tender and flavorful. Service was also excellent. Our server, Priscilla, was the sweetest, attentive, friendly, and conversational in just the right way. She offered helpful suggestions without being pushy and made us feel really welcomed for our first sit down visit. Overall, Kabob City is a great new addition to the area. Did a order to go. Their food is very favorful. I always get a chicken kabab plate for all Mediterranean cuisine. They had an option for lunch or dinner style. Lunch style is flat top sear and dinner style is char coal grilled. SPECIALTY ENTREE :: DINNER - CHICKEN KABAB ($20) : The portion for $20 is decent. This plate can feed up to 2 person. They were generous on the fattoush salada, Kabab Chicken and rice pilaf. The veggies portion is very little. It's a small slice of onion and bell pepper between each chicken pieces. The seasoning was all there. It's very flavorful. I'm a bit dissapointed that the char coal grilled chicken was dry. So it's a bit hard to eat it. The garlic sauce was flavorful. Rice pilaf was great. Fattoush salad was also amazing just like I expected. Everything on that plate was good. Just a little bit dry on the chicken. AMBIANCE : the atmosphere is nice and quiet. Even if there's a lot of people there. Nice and music on. SERVICE : Fast and friendly service. The wait is a while though. I did a walk in order to go. It took them a good 15 to 20 min to get my food ready. The rice was warm the chicken was hot though. OVERALL :: I do recommend it to give it a try. This is a great place to grab Mediterranean restaurant in Hanford. We order the mix kebab plate, spicy chicken salad, and gyro and fries. The mixed kebab plate was great and all the meat tasted great. The rice was actually pretty good which is rare in the places like this. The spicy chicken salad was yummy and very spicy! This was our second visit to this establishment. I forgot to leave a review the first time around. It's a casual vibe you come in and see yourself at a table. The service is very friendly. The first time we went. We had a bigger party and their waitress was exceptional and very attentive to everything and we even had a toddler with us, which can sometimes be a challenge, but she handled it like a champ. The next time I went, it was just my husband and I in service was once again good. On my first visit, I enjoyed the chicken for salad. It was delicious. I also had the hummus with the pita bread all amazing. This time I had a chicken Shawarma pizza which my husband and I shared and I will tell you that is an exceptional deal. I ordered the chicken and beef kabab. The menu says $22. I asked for hot sauce. I didn't know they charge but it say on the menu $1. Soda was $3.50. I get the bill. Please see attached. They charge $22.88 for the food, $2.12 for the hot sauce, $3.64 for the soda. I had already paid when I noticed this. I asked the gentleman who seated us why they upcharged me. He shrugged and said he doesn't speak English. I then pointed this out to the waitress. She said she had no idea. I said "you realize you are ripping everyone off. How do you not know that" I asked for the manager. She said there was no manager there. There is no notice anywhere advising some crazy charge for I don't know, maybe using the silverware or something but nothing. And whats worse that getting ripped off but having the whole staff just shrug and say they don't know anything. I have already disputed the charge on my credit card and have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Oh, plus Im going to post as many reviews as I can find and tell everyone at the hospital about their billing practices. I hope the $2.14 they ripped me off for was worth that. read more

This place is pretty new so a lot of people want to try it, the location is perfect and had a lot of parking spots. I would compare it to the other mediterranean place in downtown called Zaytoona. Their prices and menu are somewhat similar to Zaytoona they prolly are owned by the same person. But. The portion is smaller compared to Z. The side salad tastes the same. The taste of their meat: good seasoning but server didn't ask how would you like the meat done,m ie rare or medium. The sauce? No, hard no. It tastes more like buttery lemon juice rather than garlic sauce. Cucumber sauce: gross. The spicy garlic sauce tastes like curry sauce. Also the server picks who she gives military discount? Overall, a 6/10. Would rather drive to Zaytoona location. read more
