I was blown away by the Mediterranean food at Kabob Grill. This is a hidden gem on 96th Street. We had an early lunch. The food was fantastic. I started with the Hummus Sharma with Chicken. The chicken was hot, spicy and moist. The hummus was light with lots of tahini. The appetizer came with pita bread and was delicious and filling. My husband had the gyro, which was generously filled with meat and fresh ingredients. He ranked the gyro among the best he's ever had. I ordered a Tabouli salad late. It took awhile to come out and I realized that they made it FRESH! It was the best tabouli salad that I ever had. Sammie, our server, was attentive and friendly. Compliments to the amazing chef! The food is outstanding! The dining room is simply decorated, but comfortable. There's plenty of parking in the strip mall. I didn't see alcohol as an option. But they've nailed the rest. Highly recommend.

I was so excited to find Kabab Grill's menu online because their Syrian menu reminded me of some Lebanese favorites of mine. In particular, Kibbe and Shish Taouk (which I don't try this time around). We ordered to go: A falafel wrap, Meat Schwarma Plate, Babaganouj, kibbe, and an appetizer of falafel. The falafel was perfect, moist, and seasoned well and I really enjoyed the babaganouj, pitas, and Kibbe. The pitas are not the thick fluffy ones you get with a gyro, these are Middle Eastern style so they're large, thin, have a nutty grain flavor, and are so delicious dipped in hummus or baba. The only slight disappointment was the meat schwarma, which my husband said was unfortunately on the dry side (hence 4 stars). However the rice was well seasoned, all of the sauces were flavorful and we enjoyed pretty much everything. Picking up was met with friendly service and a well packaged, accurate order. Looking forward to trying their other dishes soon!

I wanted a place that serves good Mediterranean food. Now Mediterranean for me is good meat grilled kebabs and some good salad paired with it. Kabab grill didn't disappoint. This is a small family owned business and from that perspective customer service, time taken to serve the food, the bill everything was perfect. We enjoyed our lentil soup, halloumi cheese appetizer paired with vegetables and our main course. We were a party of 4 and our server was so patient and nice to us. Spice was perfect, nothing that hit us hard. Would highly recommend Kabab Grill.

Good ambience, I liked the big TV that displayed the Dishes with name and price, you can quickly find it on the menu. Décor is nice, no nonsense, very utilitarian set up. Well lit even for the snowy day today. The hostess, actually two of them, very nice girls and eager to help and make you understand their dishes. They were very patient. I understand it is a Jordanian eatery, although middle eastern fare is very similar and close to each other, I particularly have leaning towards Jordan and Lebanon, I was thrilled to learn that. I ordered small platter Mixed Kebab Grill, lamb and chicken skewers, and Chicken Shawarma wrap and Turkish coffee. It took them some time, little over then I expected, but I understand that there would be orders before me like to go as well. The food was excellent, it was hot, it was good looking, it tasted great, smelled great, portions are generous, I loved it. The meat was juicy and tender. The coffee was good, I would have been happier if the grounds were minimal as I had to leave some very good coffee since I rather not chew on the grounds. I admired their cleanliness, one of the hostess, did amazing job of cleaning a table, to the level of insanity. I am impressed, I have been to many Indian restaurants serving the same fare and combined they do not come close to be rated 3/10 against Kebab Grill being 9/10 in cleaning and sanitizing for next guest. I would be going there all the time, they have been open for about 6 months now, there was a steady stream of native clientele from middle east, so it proves they are catering to the authenticity as native to that culture would expect. Food is great, service and hospitality is great, ambience is very good. Strongly recommended to one and all.

Arrived around 5pm on a Saturday evening, no wait for a table. The restaurant had a mix of tables, booths and cafeteria style table. Beverages are located in a cooler: canned soda, tea, bottled water. They provide you paper plates and plastic utensils to use inside, which saves on a dishwasher. The staff was friendly and attentive. We started with the hummus with beef that came with pita bread. Then we ordered the large mixed kebab that had salad and rice under the meat. The large minded kebab could serve 2-4 people, it was approx $41. We chose chicken and lamb. The meat was tender and delicious. The nasty condiments on the table were not appealing. The food is delicious, but is everything sanitary? It seemed to be okay.

Omg finally a Syrian restaurant here In Indy, as soon as you walk in you are greeted by the sweetest (i assume) Syrian lady running the shop, we decided to start with the hummus and I'm so glad we did! This is not the stuff you find in the grocery store this is 100x better so fresh and flavorful and not super gritty the supermarket hummus can be it's topped with super high quality olive oil - seriously the best tasting olive oil I've ever had when I go back,, yes I will be back I have to ask what they use. Then for my main course i ordered the lamb Kabab plate and oh my melt in your mouth juicy lamb , ahh I can tell they marinade this with yogurt and spices with how tender and flavorful it is and then with them grilling it adds the best char. Also to add that little sauce cup on the side I THINK was tzatziki I could drink it was delicious the rice was fresh and seasoned beautifully as well. It's decorated nicely in Syrian style and are also playing Syrian music so you really feel the vibe while you're there

I got the coffee and the chicken Kafta wrap. I will say this. Good Turkish coffee is rare and this was very good. I asked for it with sugar and they made it perfect. The chicken kafta was moist and juicy and literally the best I have had. If I am ever in the area again and I do get over this way often. I will be back. I highly recommend this location for good food.

The service and food are both amazing at this former Mexican restaurant. The only negative I can say is they have done absolutely nothing with the place so the decor and ambiance are extremely lackluster. The tables, chairs and restrooms are adequate. Some middle eastern decor would be nice. I dined in and my waitress was superb. I went with the lamb kebabs and they were super good. The rice and salad served with it was very good too. It may be nice to serve some pita with it too? I am looking forward to returning soon and trying some other dishes.

This was my first time trying Turkish coffee, and I absolutely loved it! For other first-time…read morevisitors, I recommend letting the coffee sit for about 30 seconds before taking a sip so the fine grounds can settle to the bottom. Also, don't stir it after it's served, as that will bring the grounds back up into the coffee. Be sure to leave the last sip or two in the cup, since that's where the grounds collect. The coffee itself was excellent, but I would recommend that servers explain these details to first-time customers or at least ask whether they've had Turkish coffee before. A little guidance would make the experience even better for newcomers. We also ordered the hummus as an appetizer, and it was fantastic. The naan was served warm, and the hummus tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. It was the perfect way to start the meal. We also ordered The Bosphorus Special, a mixed grill platter featuring doner, kofte, chicken kebab, beef kebab, Adana kebab, and chicken Adana kebab, served with vegetables and white rice. Everything was absolutely delicious. The meats were cooked perfectly, tender, and packed with flavor. I'm so glad my significant other and I decided to share this entrée because the portion was very generous, and we still had plenty of leftovers to take home. While the service could have been a bit more attentive, it did not negatively impact our overall experience. After our food was served, our waitress did not check back to see how everything was or whether we needed anything additional. We also ended up with quite a few leftovers and requested to-go containers. Initially, only one small container was brought to the table, which required two additional follow-ups before we received enough containers for the remaining food. One suggestion I would offer is that, for tables ordering larger meals, it may be helpful for servers to proactively offer to box up leftovers as dishes are cleared. For just two people, our table became overcrowded rather quickly, especially with the generous portions. Since our waitress did not return after the food was served, it made managing the table and leftovers a little challenging. That said, we had a wonderful first experience overall. The food was outstanding, the portions were generous, and we look forward to coming back again in the future.

Requesting something other than pizza and burgers is a big deal! I ordered the beef shawarma and the chicken shawarma, just so we could try both. Both looked like a burrito, which is familiar to my kids, so they went with it. We liked the beef, but the chicken shawarma was mind-blowing, and we will definitely be ordering this again. You can get the shawarma by itself or as a meal, which means it comes with fries. I also got the gyro, which comes with sliced beef and lamb, yellow rice, hummus, salad, tzatziki and pita. Because we got our food to go, the pita came separate from everything else, and I had to assemble my gyro myself like a little taco. It was delicious, but so much food! Honestly, the gyro plate can feed two people easily. Because I can't pass up a baba ganoush, I ordered a small one. They have some excellent baba ganoush at Sahara! I think this might even be my baba ganoush go-to now. Ordering online is very easy, and my food was ready to be picked up even before it was supposed to be. The only thing is that Sahara is located on the Broad Ripple strip, so parking can be iffy. I didn't find any parking in front of the restaurant, so I had to circle the block a bit before I found a spot.

The pasta salad was fine, but def okay to skip and stick to the other sides to which you won't be disappointed! The pita was also fresh and so good!
