Gyro as you can see a bit over stuffed
    Dan S.

Fun place in the Garage food hall. Fast service I had gyro very quickly. The fries were solid and spiced nicely. The gyro was too full to eat. I know everyone likes a big portion but I had to eat half the meat and scrape out excessive yogurt to be able to pick it up to eat. Very messy but it was good.

I went to pick up my Yelp Indy elite squad perk at 4 Birds Bakery , and decided to grab some dinner while I was at The Garage Food Hall. I decided to try some Greek food at Mama Fofos. The menu looked good, so I choose the falafel wrap with fries and a small house salad to go. The woman was very nice and professional when she took my order. It was a bit of wait because they were other orders ahead of me, but it took about 15-20 minutes to get my order. The presentation of the falafel wrap was nice, and it did taste very good. The small house salad was good, but not the best house salad I have ever had. For a Greek vendor, Mama Fofos was Ok and decent at The Garage Food Hall but I would not go back there unless I craved Greek food. The Garage Food Hall has other selections that are of higher quality that Mama Fofos. I'm not saying this to be mean, but the food was bland and lacked flavor and consistency. I feel I would be better off trying another vendor at The Garage Food Hall for lunch or dinner. That is my two cents worth. Hope it helps! Mama Fofos does have a nice ambiance to it, so I will give them props for the ambiance.

We stopped here at garage food hall before a convention in Indianapolis. We did the full walk around and this place looked like it had some really nice food to stop in with. Being a food hall meant that there was a lot of activity every direction . Even so there was not a line and people were very friendly. The food itself was delicious . I personally had the falafel and found that it was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. Their sauce also was really good for both the wrap and to be used on the fries. All in all, this is a great place to go if you're in need of a good meal in Indianapolis.

Tried this place at the Bottleworks garage. It's good. I got the falafel pita and fries. The fries were ok, but the pita was AMAZING. The falafel was so good. Crispy on the outside, but hot and steamy on the inside. They had delicious sauce, hummus, and the perfect amount of veggies. This was great. I went after the lunch rush, and the service was very quick. The staff were all very kind. The garage is always amazing. Lots of room to sit, tons of other options for food if you are with a group, etc. Definitely try this place. The falafel was great. I will be back to try other menu items.

My veggie gyro was yummy. It did, however, take a long time for them to make. Employees seemed to be talking with each other instead of handing out the food. .

Great food. Scamming money! 9% sales tax... Admin fee... Not cool man. I asked the employee and he looked at me like I was a cheap a$$

Friendly service and I had a delicious, fresh lamb and beef gyro (without onion on my request) with a garlicky, thick tzatziki sauce. My gyro came with fries that were crispy and tasty. Totally helped me cure my fix for a gyro! So good!

Slowly making my way through The Garage. This trip I had Mama Fofo's. Greek food is one of my favorites and this did not disappoint. I had the chicken gyro which was super filled with chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, and tzatziki. It was super messy and everything fell out as I was eating, but I just ate it like a salad. My brother had the gyro melt which was like a deep-fried phyllo sandwich. The staff were super friendly and we got our food quick. They have lots of good looking things on the menu, I don't think you can go wrong.

I went to the garage and took my time to look for what I wanted to eat. I happily decided to try Mama Fofos where Ms.Penny kindly recommended and explained everything to me. She took the time to make sure I got exactly what I wanted and more. I highly recommended the chicken gyro! Ms. Penny even invited me to her families restaurant and that was amazing as well! So glad I chose mama fofos!!! Can't wait to visit the family again!

Mama Fofo's is ALWAYS top tier They have the best hummus I have ever tried. I have gotten the hummus dip appetizer so much that it's borderline addiction lol. I got their gyro and fries last time and the fries were super crispy, but soft inside, and were coated with a Greek seasoning that was super aromatic. The gyro meat was great but it had a bit too much tzatziki for my liking - to the point where it kind of overpowered everything else and made the gyro hard to eat due to the mess.

Gyro melt w/tzatziki sauce. Not my photo but looks exactly the same as mine.
    Michele V.

Ordered Gyro Melt. Hot, crunchy shell, creamy inside with tzatziki was pretty good. Wanted a gyro meal but it was way overpriced. Enjoyed that meal but can get gyro's other places for less that are delicious.

Mama Fofos is a yummy spot in the garage with Greek/Mediterranean cuisine! I had the chicken gyro here which came with fries, and it exceeded my expectations!! The chicken was juicy, seasoned very well, and the yogurt sauce was perfectly thick and flavorful. The fries were seasoned, crispy, and delicious as well! I'm hungry just thinking about it! In terms of service, the woman serving us was nice and friendly. There's a lot of seating in the garage too and it's a lively environment, so it's a great spot to grab a bite with friends :)

Basically what it says on the box... quick Greek food to go. I had the Gyro, because of course I did. Prices are similar to most of the other booths in the area. I thought that the serving size was perfect, but if you're used to the massive gyros that some places sell, yeah, it's not that. If you're a guy used to big plates of food, you might need to get another snack after this. Regardless, the food was very tasty, and I could definitely see myself returning if I was in the area

For other first-time…read morevisitors, I recommend letting the coffee sit for about 30 seconds before taking a sip so the fine grounds can settle to the bottom. Also, don't stir it after it's served, as that will bring the grounds back up into the coffee. Be sure to leave the last sip or two in the cup, since that's where the grounds collect. The coffee itself was excellent, but I would recommend that servers explain these details to first-time customers or at least ask whether they've had Turkish coffee before. A little guidance would make the experience even better for newcomers. We also ordered the hummus as an appetizer, and it was fantastic. The naan was served warm, and the hummus tasted incredibly fresh and flavorful. It was the perfect way to start the meal. We also ordered The Bosphorus Special, a mixed grill platter featuring doner, kofte, chicken kebab, beef kebab, Adana kebab, and chicken Adana kebab, served with vegetables and white rice. Everything was absolutely delicious. The meats were cooked perfectly, tender, and packed with flavor. I'm so glad my significant other and I decided to share this entrée because the portion was very generous, and we still had plenty of leftovers to take home. While the service could have been a bit more attentive, it did not negatively impact our overall experience. After our food was served, our waitress did not check back to see how everything was or whether we needed anything additional. We also ended up with quite a few leftovers and requested to-go containers. Initially, only one small container was brought to the table, which required two additional follow-ups before we received enough containers for the remaining food. One suggestion I would offer is that, for tables ordering larger meals, it may be helpful for servers to proactively offer to box up leftovers as dishes are cleared. For just two people, our table became overcrowded rather quickly, especially with the generous portions. Since our waitress did not return after the food was served, it made managing the table and leftovers a little challenging. That said, we had a wonderful first experience overall. The food was outstanding, the portions were generous, and we look forward to coming back again in the future.

The baba ganoush at Noor Cafe is great, and comes with warm pita slices, plus pickled vegetables on top. The falafel pita comes with a lot of different vegetables and sauces, and is fresh and cool from the veg, but warm from the falafel and pita. It's also huge! This is something you could definitely split if you wanted to, or eat by yourself if you're especially hungry. I was a little taken aback by how small the dining room is at Noor Cafe. There are four tables, and one of them was filled with toys, which was adorable. Some kid came from out back to play with them, and I was reminded by the adage that the best Asian restaurants are those where some kid is playing or doing their homework in the dining room. I think that might be true! Noor Cafe is not Asian, because they offer Mediterranean food, but they're also not-not Asian because they also offer some Indian options (kaathi rolls, paneer). I mentioned that I got a glass of Pinot Noir here. Yes, they offer beer and wine! They served the red wine chilled, which is not ideal, but I'm willing to overlook that because the baba ganoush was so good.

You walk in, you order at the counter, you find a table. The format is familiar. What lands in front of you is anything but ordinary. So, I am going to address the dessert situation first and without apology. I started with the baklava before the rest of the food arrived. Why? I am not a Padawan. I am a grown Jedi who has earned the right to sequence a meal however the Force sees fit, and the Force saw fit to begin with dessert. The baklava was sweet, crispy, and exactly what baklava is supposed to be when someone actually makes it properly. I considered ordering another. A Jedi exercises restraint. I waited for the rest of the order instead, which did not take long, so the sacrifice was manageable. When the full spread landed on the table the presentation alone was doing work. My partner's Greek salad with chicken kabob looked as good as it tasted, which turned out to be very good. I sampled the chicken kabob and it paired beautifully with my roasted red potatoes, which came out tasting like olive oil and lemon pepper had a perfect collaboration and decided to coat every potato equally. My Street Gyro had the kind of meat to vegetable ratio that suggests whoever assembled it understood the assignment. Good balance technically, but the balance leaned toward more meat, which is the correct direction to lean. The Ruffles chips that came alongside were a chaotic and welcome addition to an otherwise Mediterranean operation. Nobody saw that coming. I respected it. My partner finished the chocolate chip cookies and had no complaints. I had no complaints about anything. Taziki's is not trying to be a sit down Greek dining experience and it does not need to be. It does what it does cleanly, consistently, and with enough flavor to bring us back the next time the craving for Greek food makes its presence known in the Force. Five stars, would absolutely return. The baklava alone justifies the trip.
