But just call for someone. All the food that we ordered was very very tasty. We ordered: Chicken Chapli Kabab: too too good. Especially the ingredients - we were able to relish everything it was made of. Chicken sheekh kabab: honestly, we didn't like then too much as first of all they were little cold and it tasted like they were not fresh. Lamb Chops: OMG, lamb chops were super. I had the best lamb chops in my life. Highly recommend trying them if you are here. Goat Korma: And the last thing we ordered was Goat Korma with Garlic Naan. Awesome awesome awesome. This place looked like it's fairly new and is located in the prime area of Atlantic City. It was walkable from our hotel and a block down the way from Caesar's. You also have an access point from the broad walk. The food is delicious and more North Indian. We ordered the Kabab Platter - all of them were perfectly done and served four. We ordered butter chicken and lamb curry along with Naan and some fried rice (the chef accommodated our requests to cook along with eggs). Overall, the food was worth going back. He staff was very friendly and took good care of us from our entry, getting seated, making sure we enjoyed our food and got rid of the mango lassi we didn't like. The ratings at this place are very different, so I gave it a chance. The flavors were fine, the quality of the chicken goat and veggies was good, but the food is oily. You can avoid the oil on the buffet, though. Certain dishes were great- the palak paneer, butter chicken, naan, were my favorites. The goat was fatty but tender. But when I asked for tap water, they said they only have bottled water for sale, even though on Google reviews, the owner said they offer free tap water. So that's a little suss. But the waitress was very attentive otherwise. About 10 minutes into our meal, they added chicken thighs and drums covered in red spices, but they came out still cold. Overall, I think I ate $25 in food, and it had a lot of variety. But the quality is a bit inconsistent, even though I enjoyed the flavors. read more

Best Kabab place in Atlantic City. We got the Lamb chops which was served sizzling hot was excellent,goat karahi which was spiced just right, fried fish over rice was served with lightly battered fish which was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside and butter naan was pillowy soft. Every single dish was flavorful and awesome.The service given by the elderly server was exceptional. He even recommended the amount of dishes we can order and it was just right for the 4 of us. A friend and I ended up here for dinner on a Friday night and enjoyed the food and service. They had a dinner buffet and it was quite amazing. There were lots of non-vegetarian and vegetarian options but I only had room for so much and ended up overeating anyway. Some items that I tried and recommend - Mutton Karahi, Chicken Curry, Tandoori chicken, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Naan and their dessert. A whole other side of the buffet was untouched but included Channa Masala, Palak Paneer, Okra etc. We ordered 2 Naan and they served it hot within minutes. We also parked in the lot and they told us it was fine. If you are looking for authentic Pakistani food and not necessarily ambience, then you can't go wrong with this place. Enjoy. read more

This restaurant looks like it caters primarily to the delivery services such as Grub Hub and Uber Eats. It's nestled between 2 parking lots about 3 blocks off the Boardwalk. So not much of a problem getting to, although the neighborhood isn't exactly pleasing to the eye. As you walk in, there is a large bar/counter that serves as the take out and pick up zone. On this date, I went in for the lunch buffet which was $24.99/diner and I was there just past noon. Decent selection, but was disappointed in the quality. The rice for the chicken biryani was either extremely overcooked or was left over from the previous day, as it was so dry that the rice crunched on biting in. The mutton was decent but perhaps a bit too oily. The goat selection was entirely bones only and the veggies seemed as if they came out of a can. The dessert selection was ok with the gulab jam and rice pudding. I really do enjoy my Indian restaurants but was disappointed in this one. Will need to keep looking in AC. read more

This a true Paki restaurant and a bit weird as when one enters, it's #1 very bright, and #2 a bit dated, disheveled (a lot tables and perhaps they do a buffet at times). Service was fine. One waits a bit (not too long) as all dishes are made from scratch. It's worth the wait. Food was quite good, The Chicken Kebabs were tasty starters. I went with the Chili Chicken and Garlic Naan. The naan was excellent. Main dish was spicy, sweet, with ample chicken with the peppers an onions that made up this dish. My friend went with the Tiki Masala which he raved about. First of all this place is HALAL(verbally confirmed by owner) ! For those of you looking for a halal spot in Atlantic City here you go. To be honest the food is authentic Paki. It's an indoor restaurant and the place is huge and the hospitality is great. The inside looks outdated and old, so definitely don't go here if you wanna go for a date lol. The food takes a long time to cook, but that's a good sign because it comes out fresh. We ordered the chili chicken(3/5), Channa chaat(1/5), aloo parata(5/5). and sheesh kabob(2/5). My family had a great experience at the dinner buffet. I had a party of 10 they accommodated us right away. The food was warm and they were refilling continuously. Food had an authentic Pakistani taste. My family loved goat paya, mutton kadhai, chicken curry, biryani, and gulab jamun. However, management needs to be more strict about hygiene. The bathroom was dirty. Plates should be wiped. We had to wait for the server to serve naan and clean dirty plates from the table. Overall food was great and service could have been improved. We were at this Desi joint recently. As soon as you enter there is a strong smell of Clorox cleaner. Really feels strange. Tables and chairs are oily. Food is below average. Portion sizes are big. Prices are actually very reasonable. Service is actually really nice especially an old uncle there from Lahore is very very sweet. So why one star you ask? Well we saw the owner yell at our server and it was a pathetic display of unprofessional management. This plus some recipes for things like samosa chaat (with cucumbers?!?!), haleem which was nothing like haleem. The food was below average, ladened with oil and barely any flavor. The place was not clean either, no napkins in the washroom, the dryer wasn't working either. We ordered chili chicken which has nothing but ketchup in the name of sauce. The other dishes are paneer tikka masala n chicken karahi which was floating in oil and not flavorful. For 3 dishes they charged 75$ which I felt was clearly overpriced and they included a 15% service charge which does not go as tip to our server, so has to shell out more money for the poor girl who served us. We went there around 9Pm when most places were closed or closing. Ordered food that did not contain meat and dairy. The Alu Gobhi was served from the buffet and tasted off so we rejected it. The freshly made okra was OK. Rice was OK. I did not eat any bread but was told that it was a bit heavy. An order of fresh pakoras was liquid from inside which is evidence of undercooking them or lacking the skill to make the batter as dry as possible or may be the batter was sitting around and was stale. The prices were quite reasonable, and the portions were so generous that we had leftovers for the following day. The recipe for rasmolai must be different here from what we were used to, but the Kabab House version was also good. Keep in mind that they charge extra 3% if you pay with a credit card. read more

So we are vegan. We needed to eat late, and this was one of the best looking options as we love Indian food. Usually, a slightly run down looking authentic joint is a sign of a good meal. And I can't even say for certain it wasn't a good meal. When we entered they did not give us a menu and said buffet only. Which is expected sometimes at these places and totally fine. I made sure to ask if there were vegan options and they presented a few safe staples such as okra, Chana masala, lentils, etc. So we decided that was good enough. There MIGHT have been a language barrier, or we might have been taken advantage of, who knows. All I know is that numerous other tables were given the option to order from the menu after us. There was also no postage how much the buffet was supposed to cost, there was a bit of a shock value that our bill was over 50 dollars for two people, and 1 drink. The food itself was tasty! We were nervous because it looked like it had been sitting out a while, but ended up eating everything on our plates. We stayed in Atlantic City recently and we were super happy we chose Kabab House for dinner. Portions were very large- everything was delicious and made to order. No alcohol is served here- but you can bring it in. Building appears older, but don't let that stop you from stopping in! We visited this place a few months ago and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of food and the courtesy of the owner. We had to come back for the lamb chops and daal. This time when we reached, they were serving buffet but the owner accommodated us and made the lamb chops, daal and tandoori roti especially for us. Everything was freshly cooked and was delicious. The portions were also quite big. The buffet was also quite good but we got our fix. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. We came to this place because the reviews seemed ok. When we walked in and ordered the lady at the front told me they didn't have butter chicken, but I was able to order it online . After paying for 2 orders of butter chicken, rice, and naan they said it was going to take an additional 30 minutes because they had forgot to put the order in and we were the only ones in the restaurant. They wouldn't offer a refund and brought the food for dine in after we had already paid for take out. When they gave us our food they gave us 2 free drinks. When we checked the bag of food there was only one order of chicken and one order of rice because they didn't think it was two although everything was on the receipt. At this point they refunded us for the second rice and chicken. Never going back the place was a shame. read more
