**Update 10/19/24** 3 days after my review Anny reached out to listen to my isssue. Anny really cares about her customers and was able to resolve the problem. Very few businesses care about their customers and I really appreciate her making this right. Have been ordering every week since then for my children really love their chicken makni, beef geeky kebab and chicken biratni. Thank you Anny for everything you do and helping resolve the issue.

Who would've thought that there would be a phenomenal Pakistani restaurant all the way down in south Jersey? Absolutely worth the drive to immerse yourself in the neon kaleidoscope vibes of Karachi Kafe. The frenetic energy of Karachi is Kaptured in both the decor and the food. You must have the Papdi Chaat if nothing else. The bowl of cooling yogurt, spicy chick peas, and crunchy crackers on top is the perfect combination of flavors and textures. Standard Pakistani fare like Chicken Karahi and Naan are a must as well. Freshly made, spiced to perfection, and arriving in a sizzling wok - the sight is almost dazzling as the restaurant itself. Luckily, the servers are quite calm compared to the energy of the room. They will patiently take your order, walk you through the menu, and bring the food in decent time.

Loved how cute this place was! We were visiting from out of town - very colorful and lots of decor. Sometimes may be a little over the top but that's karachi , we got the gol guppa and chaat which were great! also got that nihari and karhai which were really good. Also even tried the dum kabob - full of flavor !!

I've wanted to go to this restaurant for almost a year, but was never in the area. I regret not coming sooner. For starters, I had the papdi chaat. It is a very large portion, generously covered in yogurt and chutneys. It was surprisingly slightly spicy, and the flavors mixed really well. Next I had the chicken kadhai with garlic naan. This is the first time I've ordered garlic naan from a restaurant where the garlic is not burned. You can taste the fresh garlic, and the naan is soft and warm. The chicken was very tasty and juicy. The gravy in the kadhai was amazing. Finally, I ordered the ras malai- the best tasting ras malai I had in my life. I will be back. Not only is their food amazing, but they have a kids menu!! Double win!!

This was the cutest little place! I loved it. It was so pretty inside. The playing was pretty, the seating was pretty. It was just so cute. I had the two samosas which came with a little sweet sauce. Delicious. The buttered chicken was spicy but delicious. I got medium and as a Hispanic, I must say, the spicy for this culture is a different level. None the less DELICIOUS. Very tasty. The server was very pleasant and she was nice. She was attentive as well. It was clean, food was great, service was great. I WILL be back.

A fourth return trip and I still love this place and the amazing food that it serves. This time around we tried the Shezuan noodles, the chicken Seekh kebabs, the beef Kati roll, the beef bun kebab, and the butter chicken. We ate until we were stuffed and then we took our remaining food home. You can't go wrong with this place.

Karachi Kafe serves up some of the best falooda I've had in this part of the world! The rest of the menu, while not too extensive, is tasty; service is cordial and cheerful. The matka haleem, although not served in a matka (clay pot), is delicious all the same. What keeps me going back to support this business is the kindness and generosity of the owner and management. I noticed that they regularly give out boxes of food to the needy without any questions.

Went into Angelo's right next door with my friend the other day and I saw this restaurant next door and told him we should check it out one day. So we went in and the ambience was super cool. We ordered the Papdi Chaat- sweet and crunchy, Gol Gappa which was so unique and tasty with spicy and sweet sauce. Finally the Paneer Karahi which is cheese with peppers and soooo delicious. Absolutely would come back

There are very few Pakistani restaurants in US which truly reflects all that is good about Pakistani food and culture . If you want an authentic experience of Pakistani food without visiting the country then this place is it ! Pakistani cuisine is a fusion of West Asian and Indian cuisine as this region has been a melting pot of these two different cuisine influences. That makes it a a very unique fusion cuisine . The service was excellent , we pre ordered the food prior to us getting to the restaurant and the food was ready when we got there . The servers were very responsive and on top of everything. The food does the talking for itself . We ordered Chicken Karhai , Nihari , Biryani and Chicken seekh kabab . These are quintessential Pakistani delicacies and they passed with flying colors in all of them . Not many places in US can do justice to Nihari but this place definitely can do that and more . Nans were soft and fresh . Also ordered Falooda and Kashmiri tea and again they didn't disappoint . Falooda is as good as anywhere on the globe . Now a few words about the ambiance which is actually the best part of this place . They have put a lot of thought and effort in evolving this place to reflect the culture . From old movies to the iconic pictures to the old school jhoola ( swing ) in the middle of the place all were great ideas . If you want to have an authentic experience on the east coast , then should go there for sure .

Food was spicy and delicious. Very authentic experience with cool decor. The chicken tikka and the naan were delicious.

We went on a Sunday night and were greeted warmly by the the hostess and got a table right away. Our waitron was quick to appear and was delighted that it was our first time there. She pointed out why we made a good choice --- fish delivered fresh every day and approved by the manager or it was returned to the vendor. She started us with, again, surprisingly good --- and I am a bread snob --- ciabatta bread and very good oil and pesto to dip it in. The reason I gave the place only four stars were two of the recommended cocktails, a smoked Manhattan and a French 75. Both were just fair. I've had a lot better elsewhere, but I bet if you'd stick to simple, classic cocktails, you'd be pleased. I will try that strategy myself next time that we go. Entrees are smallish, but do you want something that's all-tasty, or a generous pile of crap? So I had the grilled shrimp diablo; spicy, but well made with just slightly overcooked pasta, more than enough to satisfy me. She had the grilled mahi mahi with mango ...chutney(?), jasmine rice and broccoli. I tried it --- very, very good. The wine list is adequate; we both liked our choices, Duckhorn sauvignon blanc, for the mahi and Chandon sparkling rosé, which went particularly well with the spicy shrimp. Sorry, we didn't have dessert. Service was quick and very friendly, and the food arrived hot and was quite good. The decor is tastefully well done and the music they play is unobtrusive. Yes. Give Bonefish a try.

I feel they should have peeled the oyster off the shell before cooking it because it was stuck on. For our entrees we got salmon and mahi mahi with shrimp. My new potatoes had absolutely no seasoning and did not come with butter or anything. The mahi mahi was over cooked and a little hard not to mention small. Both portions were small. The Brussels sprouts were still very hard/raw and we did not eat them.

I highly recommend this restaurant to any seafood lover. They prepared our dishes using a wonderful variety of techniques. I was initially hesitant to order the steamed Chilean sea bass, but it turned out to be perfect light, flaky, and with perfectly balanced aromatics that I'll be dreaming about until I return. Our server Vinnie was elegant and funny. He handled all our questions with ease and even brought us a complimentary side dish he personally enjoyed, which was a lovely touch. I felt like I was dining in seafood heaven; each dish was more exciting than the last. And I can't forget about the cocktails! Although I don't have a photo of my mango Moscow mule, it was the perfect pairing for my Asian-inspired three-course seafood meal. This restaurant definitely has a fancy vibe, you'll want to dress up a bit. But since it was a hot 100-degree day, my family and I appreciated the staff's kindness in welcoming us despite our casual attire. I can't praise enough the wonderful people here. The chef, the front-of-house team, and the wait staff are all five-stars! They made my family feel truly special and well taken care of. A couple of points, however, in all fairness: The waiter kept promoting the red meat dishes. This is a fish restaurant! It was way too dark, despite the gorgeous chandelier. We had to use our phone flashlights to see the menu. The wine list selections were very slim. We had a nice time and ate well, but these few points corrected would have made it even better.

I do not eat seafood and was confused by the fishy smell and presence of meat. Luckily it was a simple cross-table mixup. Furthermore, the mushroom gnocchi was horrible. It was made with pure whipping cream, which is probably a valid Italian approach, but it had to have been 100g of fat, and it tasted like warm thick milk, with no flavor and minimal mushrooms. I felt sick to my stomach the rest of the night. The restaurant was packed and tastefully decorated. They have a great signature cocktail list but I couldn't hear myself or anyone at my table. Average decibel level was 85 through the course of our 90 minute stay. My ears felt raw once I got outside. Lastly, it's a mandatory (and complimentary) valet for parking. Just be prepared. We had reservations at 6:45pm on a Saturday night. We arrived a few minutes prior to our reservation and were seated in the corner of a little off-shoot room with only a handful of other tables. It did not feel like we were out to eat at an upscale restaurant. It took a long time for our server to greet us and we placed our drink order. Wine and cocktails. Our server came back a long while after and informed us the bar was backed up and she was still waiting on our drinks. After another very long wait, our drinks were delivered to our table. Everyone enjoyed their wine and my Manhattan was very good. Slow service was a very common theme all night long. It seemed like 30+ minutes between table visits from our server. Between four of us, we ordered two Caesar Salads to split. We also had a Shrimp & Clam Fra Diavolo, Gnocchi, and a Homemade Tagliatelle dinner special with clams, shrimp, and crab served with white wine sauce and arugula pesto. Again it took a very long time for our salads to come out and ages for our entrees. By the time our food was brought to our table I think we were all ready to leave. I think it's safe to say everyone enjoyed their meal but I cannot justify paying the prices Il Villaggio charges with the service provided. I also thought the portions were extremely small which again, I wouldn't have minded if the service was adequate. We did voice our concerns, which I dislike doing, but that's how bad it was. Our server apologized and advised us that they weren't expecting the restaurant to be as busy as it was. Not sure if that was an excuse or if they were actually short-staffed. They did offer complimentary Limoncello and desserts for the table. The Limoncello was probably my favorite part of the night. My wife and I split cannolis and there was also a Key Lime Pie ordered. The dessert tasted good, but after spending 3+ hours in the restaurant, we wouldn't have ordered dessert if it wasn't offered. To say I was underwhelmed would be an understatement. I don't think I've ever waited so long for food and drinks at a restaurant in my life. The only way I'd consider coming back is if our plans were to have cocktails and appetizers at the bar. This was difficult for me to write. I don't enjoy leaving poor reviews. This was not worth our time or money.

This review covers a few visits. Happy hour, good deal, tasty food and drinks and pretty good…read moreservice, would recommend. Group event, went as part of a holiday party and the food, service and wine were all on point. This was a long happy hour not sit down so I cannot attest to a large group sit down dinner. Lastly dining in the main dining room, 6 people, Saturday night. Service was thin, read, our server was busy with a large group in the back and the neglect was evident. Now this doesn't mean the rest of the restaurant crew couldn't step in but really didn't. We were graced with a water refill once over the course of the dinner, although the friendly server who did pour the water said she walks around to fill water, she was never seen again. Our entrees were brought by a group of servers who disappeared after placement of the plates. So it would appear people were working they just seemed to ignore our table. Food was great, I wouldn't have gone if I didn't think the food was on par, but spending this kind of money you want a balance of service and food. You can see the accumulation of glasses that went on removed between wines. Now happy hour is discounted and you are at the bar so you get front and center service. Standing in the group room you are able to flag a server, sitting in the middle of the dining area and being largely ignored just rubs you the wrong way. I had two people ask why are you going to Flemings when I told them our plans. A competing steak house at the Cherry Hill Mall, we have attended many, many times without fail. You don't know how good you have it until you go someplace else and realize service is a lost art at some places. I am posting more for public service announcement, i would hope management reviews and tries to address this rather large service gap. I have never had this issue at the capital Grill, so it is disappointing to encounter it here, particularly when the food was on point.
