I love tabouli and order it at every Mediterranean restaurant I go to, and this was the worst I ever had. The ingredients might have been off (either the ratio, or maybe something even went bad. It looked normal but tasted terrible). When we asked for cups of water (after spending upwards of $100) we were told they "don't do that" - because obviously they expect you to purchase bottled water. I find this to be unacceptable. Last but not least: we witnessed a cockroach crawling across the floor. One of the little German ones. Although not as scary as their larger, American counterparts, they still carry lots of germs that can make you sick, and when you see one you can assume there are many more close by. Would I be back? Hard pass. I'm sure I can find great hummus and chicken shawarma elsewhere.

The chicken shawarma (or chicken wrap) was perfection. Extremely juicy, the pita was nice and crispy, and the toum wasn't over powering at all. The manakeesh was to die for, especially the meat pie (lahm ajeen). Fresh and crispy flatbread, the meat was still juicy. And yes, he does have the best baklava.
