Was on the hunt for a solid falafel spot when I stumbled across Theo's. Ended up discovering their Supreme Gyro instead, and I'm glad I did. From the start, everything about the meal screamed fresh. And honestly, it's kind of sad that "fresh" has to be a highlight these days, but here we are. The lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and olives were all crisp and vibrant, and the squeeze of real lemon juice over everything brought it all to life. The plate came with a whole cup of house-made hummus (A CUP), three warm pita, and a very generous serving of lamb. While the lamb was the only thing that missed the mark, it was clearly frozen and leaned dry, the big scoop of creamy tzatziki saved the day and brought everything together. I did end up ordering a side of falafel too, also frozen, also dry, not worth it. I kept stacking pita after pita, building gyro after gyro, and only realized at the end that there was still an untouched pita left. That should tell you how much food you're getting. Will absolutely be back, but next time, it's Supreme Gyro from the jump.

Stopped here for a quick work lunch. I was very impressed with the food quality. The service was good also. I opted for the gyro and it came out quick and hot. Just the right amount of feta and tzatziki was on it. Super tasty. Cooked well and cooked fast. Definitely a good spot! No frills and no glam.

Good food. Very tasty but the chicken was a little dry. Very low key plain place but the baklava was the star. Order at the counter and she will bring it to you

Theo's Greek is a great spot for fresh, tasty food. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and the coleslaw is cool and refreshing. The service is very friendly, and the ambience is welcoming and enjoyable. Definitely a place worth visiting.

I've had many gyros in my lifetime and I must say that Theo's is by far, my favorite. Theo's Kitchen is a small family owned business located on Curry Ford Rd in a shopping plaza close to Winn Dixie. I've been thinking about their feta fries and their ginormous Gyro Supreme and it was then that I realized it has been some years since my last visit here. The gyro supreme is huge! Surprised that I even finished the whole thing... but when you have something this delicious, it's hard to stop eating. The gyro comes with extra lamb meat, fresh onions, tomatoes and creamy feta cheese. The feta fries are so yummy too. Not greasy but they did add a touch of olive oil which complimented the texture of the crinkle fries. I stopped in around 7pm thinking that I only had 1 hour to eat. They've extended their hours. They are now open until 9pm instead of 8pm. There were a couple of other diners when I was there so it was quiet but I did see a lot of people coming in for pick up orders for fried chicken. Yes... they also serve fried chicken there as well. Now there's something I will try on my next visit. I can't wait!

Theo's has been a staple in Orlando, with great Greek food and fried chicken in a casual setting. They are a small but mighty footprint in the Winn Dixie shopping center in the Curry Ford West District. Ordering is self-service via a touchscreen, and was served within a few minutes. We ordered their Gyro Plate, Grilled Feta Pita, Greek Salad, Spanakopita, and Three Piece Fried Chicken Dinner. Everything was delicious! I highly suggest dining in to enjoy everything after it's freshly prepared. Theo's is a small family-owned business, and has been around for over thirty years for a valid reason -- highly recommend you stop by to enjoy one of their Greek and fried chicken specialties!

It actually pains me a bit to give a family-owned restaurant anything less than 5 stars. However, my first visit lacked hospitable service. Upon arriving around 11:30 AM, I encountered a staff member (who never spoke a word to me) continuing to mop the floor which blocked my access to a friend who was waiting for me at a table. Additional patrons were also present at other tables. It seemed as though preparation was being conducted for the lunch rush. Not great timing, I'd say. Being a first-time customer, I was not familiar with the ordering process. A little guidance would have been appreciated. The fried chicken is renowned in Orlando, so of course I had to give it a try. It is definitely juicy, crispy and fresh. Very tasty! The hush puppies were another standout with noticable pieces of corn. My spinach pie was average. Their Greek salad dressing is awesome and available for purchase. I might go back for that alone. I'd also return to try a gyro. Perhaps I need to lower my expectations for a self-service ordering restaurant. However, I still hope to feel somewhat welcomed, which I didn't. For a family-owned business I feel that's something which should set you apart. Hopefully my next visit will be an improvement.

Dining method: Take-out Item(s) ordered: Greek Salad, Yalanji Salad, Fries, Lentil soup Value: Prices were reasonable and the Yalanji cost $1 less than the price on the menu! Vibe: Staff were really nice and you can tell that it's family-run. As for the ambiance, it's a typical counter-serve joint. Great place for takeout. The Review: Want great food that's delicious AND (pretty) healthy? It's Theo's. Fresh fresh salad, wholesome soup, and we can't pretend we're health nuts here...the fries were perfectly crispy. Great place for real, good food. Thanks, Theo's!

Hidden places are always the best places! The food here was absolutely incredible. It was light and didn't make you disgustingly full. I was very happy with my meal. The staff were really nice and made sure our food was made to our liking. The restaurant itself was pretty chill and had light music playing in the background

I don't know if there's a connection between Greece and fried chicken, but OPA! If you like chicken gizzards, you need to try Theo's. Hot, fresh AND seasoned to perfection. I got mine with fries and fried okra. $11 for enough food for two meals? I was a happy little boy! I ordered a sweet tea, and I swear I thought I was going to die from sugar shock. So if you're sensitive to sugar, you may want to cut it with some water. I will most definitely be back, and I will get that same order. Maybe not the tea. Don't want the diabeetus...

Wow! - this is some of the best food that I've had in many years. The fried chicken is incredible. The Greek cuisine is so fresh and nice and the coleslaw is some of the best. five 5 stars I would say - number one #1 in Orlando. food service is very quick and it's a nice atmosphere with very clean and spaced out tables

Unlike the venue in Hollywood, Florida, which is near our home, this one is larger and brighter and more spacious. The food is just as good and the atmosphere also is cheery and bright. We had the saganaki and the grilled octopus appetizers. Both were very good. Although we are used to cold, marinated octopus we thoroughly enjoyed this grilled version. For dinner, hubby had the lamb board and I had the slow-cooked lamb. Both were savory and satisfying, and we had enough leftovers for the next day's lunch. We were adventurous and tried the Galaktoboureko dessert, custard wrapped in honey phyllo. It was served warm, and it was sweet and creamy. Our server Rafael was very attentive. About the only problem we had was that the appetizers and entrees arrived at the same time. Say what? Nico, one of the managers, chatted with us before and told us he had worked at the Taverna Opa in Hollywood. After our meal, he stopped by to see if we liked this restaurant and even offered us a taste of mastiha, a Greek liqueur. Hubby doesn't drink, but I gladly accepted a shot (and really liked it). We had dinner around 6 pm and the entertainment was starting just as we were leaving a bit after 7 p.m. We couldn't stay longer because we had to catch a speaker. Dinner for 2 with 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, 1 dessert, tax, and tip was $137.

I went bold and tried the Combination Plate as it all looked so tasty. Everything was delicious! However, the highlight was the Moussaka with its savory and filling flavor! The Pastitsio was creamy and the tasty sauce was a little sweet, the gyro meat was fresh and the Tzatziki sauce helped top it all off. It was my first time trying Fila Dolmades, which also was good, but not sure about the grape leaves just yet. It came with two sides so I started things off with the lemon, chicken and egg soup called Avgolemono, which was very velvety and opened up the sinuses. Then a side of their green beans since I was craving something green after all the meat and pasta. And my partner really enjoyed his fresh classic gyro and Greek fries. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest, but public bathrooms never really are and the environment inside was all very comfy-cozy. But it's the food that stole the show and it's no wonder that this place has been around for 21 years and on the list of Seminole County's top hidden gems of a restaurant.

I asked upon entering about the authenticity of the Greek Potatoes (which I really enjoy at Santorini's and at The Acropolis) . When my waitress came around I reiterated how I was looking forward to the Greek Potatoes and what would she recommend to go with them. I told her I was not interested in any other carbs so bring me her recommendation with veggies and whatever comes with it that she thinks would be good for me. She came back and said I HAD TO pick soup or salad - something we had discussed that I didn't want. Just the yellow potatoes & veggies if she had any that weren't all carbs. 1/2 way through the meal I asked her if there was a reason I didn't get my Greek Yellow Potatoes: this is where things went wrong. She said she was sorry that that was "her bad." As I was about to leave she said she was going to have to Add Another charge for my potatoes. 5.27 - I gave her my reasonable objection and she still said she was sorry that she forgot them but was still going to have to Charge ME. NEEDLESS to say I will not be back nor will I recommend. It was just me. $24 for the lunch special and I believe I was clear with "what does that include" and "can I forego soup and salad and substitute something else." I reiterated my objections to staff as I was leaving and retracted tip and did not order my cookies. I was calm and polite. But I felt unwelcome and cheated. Nobody tried to fix this. No bread of any kind was included and she was sure of that tho at the time all I had were a few canned green beans in sauce with nothing to use to push them onto my fork. Okay - but I could use my Potatoes for that but they were not here.

I ordered via DoorDash and For nearly $69 before tip, I expected fresh, flavorful Greek food. Instead, much of the meal tasted like it came straight from a grocery store container rather than being made in-house. The hummus was bland and unusually runny, lacking the rich garlic, lemon, and olive oil flavors I typically expect. The salads arrived without dressing, which left them dry and difficult to enjoy. Overall, the food felt very under-seasoned and lacked the bright, fresh flavors that make Greek cuisine so good. The biggest disappointment was the baklava. The phyllo dough appeared underbaked, remaining pale and almost translucent rather than the golden, flaky texture you'd normally expect. It was soft and gummy instead of crisp and layered. I had to pop it in my oven for a couple minutes to make it edible. Maybe this was an off night, but for the price point, the quality simply didn't match expectations. Sadly, this is not a meal I'd order again.
