New place at the food court, yeah!! It's remodeled so it's beautiful inside. We came on a frIday night before the rush. I got the chicken shish salad for ~$10. The meat was very tender! However the lettuce needed work. I had quite a few core pieces which I guess if you like that then you are in luck. I do not. For the price for salad, I think you could have given more lettuce. However it was good. My pita pieces were a little tooth. Think it was heated up too much so then it gets tough after, If you know what I'm talking about. Dressing was good. My friend ordered the wrap, which for $9, it came with no sides. . She did say it was good. It's not on the pita wrap though, it's a difft wrap. Just so you know. Overall a nice new place. read more

OK so I usually don't yelp ,but I couldn't help myself this time not to. When I got there it was around nine oclock if I'm not wrong. And they told me that the kitchen is closed and basically they don't have any food. But I insisted because i couldn't find same food other places on that time . It ended up the manager gave me two orders of beef (the only thing that they had) for free just because there was no other option left. It was kind of big portion size for us and very juicy meet and buttery rice, with taziki. They're family run business with big heart. God bless these guys. I wanted to write this review especially because Kabob Cafe is very courteous and this is entirely Yelp's fault. I ordered online through Yelp (Grubhub) and Yelp collected the money. But when I arrived the owner told me that Yelp jumped the gun. They don't have an account with Yelp yet, but Yelp made the online ordering live despite their complaint. The money Yelp collected will not be paid to Kabob Cafe and I need to call them to get a refund. However the owner is very courteous and would make the order for free. As other reviews stated they are very nice and courteous. This is a great place with good food. But be aware of Yelp's issue And about the food: The beef kabob plate I ordered was really good. I've eaten here about 4 times now and everyone working there is so nice! I love their koobideh plates with the sirloin skewers, and their gyro bread is different than the thick type I'm familiar with but it's still delicious like a giant burrito! It's a little pricey but I suppose everything around this area is in the same price range so it's not a complaint. read more

They keep building more homes in the Foothill Ranch neighborhood, but they're not adding many new restaurants, so it's always exciting when a new restaurant opens up in the neighborhood. We went to the Foothill Ranch Food Court for lunch, and when we saw the "OPEN" sign, we had to check it out. It turns out that Kabob Cafe opened yesterday (January 11th), and so we were expecting Grand Opening glitches, but the food and service was great (see pictures of the generous portions). My wife had the Chicken Shish Kabob Salad, and I had the Beef Filet Kabob. Both were very good and very filling. Kabob Cafe is a great new addition to our local restaurant rotation! read more

Ate here for the first time yesterday. Not sure if it's standard, but no sauce came in the gyro or on the side. I generally expect tzatziki on a gyro or on the side, but that's my fault. The gyro was dry as a result. I ordered my gyro wrapped in Pita instead of flatbread, but received it wrapped in flatbread. I get it, mistakes happen, nbd. I also don't think the Falafel app is worth it as it came with 4 small pieces of falafel for $8.50ish, but it was still very good. However, your order is brought out to your table once it is ready. It would be a shame to pass this eatery by as it's a wonderful opportunity to have, as their business card states, some "delicious, healthy fire-grilled kabob wraps, plates and salads." My husband and I found that on our first visit there that this claim was absolutely true. In addition to the great food, the service was excellent. Sid, the gentleman who took our order was not only courteous, but very helpful in explaining the items on the menu. I ordered the lamb kabob plate which included, basmati rice, a Greek salad, pita bread and several different sauces. We tried Kabob Cafe for the first time yesterday and it did not disappoint. First, the restaurant is clean and the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. We ordered a chicken kabob combination plate and the salmon kabob combination plate and both were fantastic. Each plate came with a delicious salad, roasted tomato, pita bread, tzatziki, salmon/ chicken, and rice (the rice was out of this world!). Price was completely reasonable and you get tons of food. Came here as a group based on reviews and hoping for something great, again based on reviews. I have had plenty of Mediterranean food, some good some not so good, this ranks somewhere in the middle. I have to say since we all shared I had a taste of a few things. I will go from good to not so good. The chicken koobideh was the best thing I tasted. It was tender as expected, good flavor and juicy, this earned them a star. After this, the chicken kabob was ok, not great, just average I would say. The lamb shish kabab was disappointing to say the least, it had absolutely no flavor. I would not order the lamb again. Not too sure I would come back here for Mediterranean but if by chance I did I would more than likely have the koobideh. read more

We had an order of ours get a bit messed up, and I called (I door dashed) Sid and he was very professional, and rectified the issue. So happy to discover this place today. Delicious!! Went for a late lunch with my mother-in-law and ended up bringing dinner home for the whole family. The meats were well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. I had the salmon...it moist and flavorful...but had a great char on the outside...Same with the chicken. Between us we tried the salad, the plates and a wrap. All terrific. Great portion sizes and prices. Owner was very nice and took time to explain each dish to us and offered good suggestions. I wasn't very impressed with this spot. I've tried a few items from their menu - the chicken shwarma wrap, the koobideh beef wrap and the chicken Sheesh kebab. The chicken Sheesh kebab was a dud and lacked flavor. Between the two wraps, the koobideh beef was decent but there's way too much lettuce. And on both wraps, there's way too many onions. They serve the best gyros I've ever had! The biggest challenge with most gyros is that as soon as you pick up the sandwich everything falls out. Not at Kabob Cafe. Not only is the pita warmed on the grill, but they wrap the pita in such a way that nothing falls out. So you can focus on the super delicious meats inside instead of constantly having to refill your sandwich. Give your tastebuds a treat and eat at Kabob Cafe. read more

my boyfriend and I were some of the first customers on the day this place open. We were both taken aback at out nice the owner was. You could tell they were very nervous about opening and se excited to share their food with us and get the word out about their new restaurant. Especially since it open near the time of the pandemic closures Now, this place as become a favorite of ours. We will love to see the owner when we come in and talk to him about the restaurant. The salad was not fresh and on the soggy side. The taste and the portion of the meat with the less than fresh salad is not the best value for my experience.
