It's got your halal beef doner, along with tomatoes, pickles, cabbage, and onions! It's well-wrapped in a soft tortilla-like flatbread and presented so nicely! We also got this beef supernova! Woah, look at this guy. That same beef doner, along with some butter and tomato sauce, served atop some soaked bread and a side of yogurt. It's a hearty entry on this menu, and the tomato and yogurt combo is delectable. It's on the heavier side, due to the bread and that butter sauce, so this might be a share option for y'all! Of course, we couldn't skip the chicken, and we're so glad we didn't, because this ended up being the best thing we thought we got! This is the Chicken UFO. My goodness, the bread was amazing. Grilled crispy outer with a tender inner? We were super impressed with this. It's filled to the brim with chicken doner, more of the pickles, cabbage, lettuce, tomato, and a couple of sauces that bring some richness and acidity. It's the winner here, for us. If you're coming here, you gotta come try this guy. Of course, we can't forget drinks! They had ayran, which is a traditional yogurt drink, that's kind of a plain yogurt, but in liquid form! Another perfect addition to this plaza. The perfect place to pick up a quick and delicious lunch while charging your car. Nice little dining area inside. Alien Doner's food is *chef's kiss*. I appreciate the simplicity of their menu. The salad / pickles are the best. I can eat that all day. Albeit on the pricier end ($20-22) for fast Mediterranean food plate... it is worth it. I was surprised by how large my wrap was, as well as how much chicken was stuffed into it!! There was a lot of attention to detail put into it, but I do think the wrap ended up pretty soggy and fell apart a little. This place always caught my attention everytime I drove down Muirlands. I finally stopped by. Its a small place in a big shopping center so parking was easy to find. Service was great, they have screens you could order at or have someone take your order. Everything is alien themed which was cool haha. I got the beef nebula, hummus & falafel bites. We've been wanting to try this restaurant for quite a while, and we were pleasantly surprised on how the meat was perfectly moist and deliciously seasoned. Today I re-learned that, "döner kebab" is a Turkish dish with meat cooked vertically on a fire rotisserie, and then meat shavings are sliced off as it cooks. I also re- learned that it's delicious! Called in to ask a question about 1 hour ago about the chicken and the guy hung up on me. I tried to call again, he hung up right away. Went in and I told him that I was trying to ask a question and no apology at all and still had a bitter attitude. I believe this place recently opened up as I had never noticed it there. As you enter you see a menu above with options for plates, sandwiches, and wraps. But on the kiosk they have a lot more variety of items so do not be fooled by the small menu of options. I scrolled thru and the had some great options with meat over fries, and other dishes. But I decided to get their Beef Lunar Cycle which were wraps cut up and served with Lebne and Rice. The sauce that came over the wraps was amazing! And the rice with vermicelli noodles just had such a nice texture and flavor that I wanted more. The meat though was a little dry hard for me. If the meat was a little more tender and juicy it would have been amazing but maybe it was just this day. They have a little seating area inside for dine in, one thing I would say is for the staff to maybe greet or interact with the guests. I asked them if they make chicken and beef doner half and half. They didn't have "mix doner" on the menu, but when I asked, they made it without hesitation. That level of flexibility and hospitality is rare, especially during a soft opening. Huge respect. I shared some feedback about their bread, I think their old bread was better. They genuinely listened. They mentioned they will be opening their second location in Costa Mesa early next year, and the new spot will be larger with plans to bake their own bread in-house. The yoghurt sauce on the counter was sour and gone bad. Also the price was very expensive. Maybe the server didn't know how these plates were served. Service was bad.
