This is one of our standard go-to places to pick up take out lunch in a pinch. Good protein options and the platters are fairly big. Usually Ragz and I share the double platter - 2 rows of either chicken breast pieces or the minced chicken with rice, salad and chickpeas. Platters are served with a massive piece of naan style bread as well. Their chicken is always moist and tastes good - thankfully the taste has remained consistent over the years. The rice has 2 flavors - a plain one and a flavored one. I like mixing them both together. The chickpeas are also tasty. The bread can be a lot honestly - we usually don't end up finishing it. Ragz really likes their beef kobideh too. Ambiance - I will be honest, I don't always feel comfortable going here by myself. It's usually filled with older looking men who sometime stare. I either order takeout and quickly rush in and rush out, or Ragz picks it up. The kabob by which all other kabobs are measured. I'm surprised I haven't reviewed this place before. It is one of my favorite local haunts. All the kabobs and the naan are made fresh to order. Some of the sides are from a hot tray but that is because of the volume needed. Service is nice and humble. A great family owns this restaurant and they take pride in their restaurant. Hands down one of the best tasting kabob joints in the area. Side note, been coming here for years (starting with their flagship store in Annandale) and love the owners! They never skimp on portions, and the food is always fresh. The naan is giant, and almost every time I leave I need a box to take something home cause they don't underserve. If you have an itch for kabob, this place will not fail you. The only downside is it takes a while for the food to come out but you know it's going to be good. Just a simple, family run business with, hands down, the most amazing chicken kabob I've ever tasted! We order the dark meat for juicy, tender little packets if flavor explosions! Don't come here if you can't be patient while your food is prepared fresh. The owner remembered us from our first visit and he enjoys conversation with the customers, if you're so inclined. There's time to do so because, it usually a lot if Open tables. Much of the meals go to take out and I've never seen more than a few patrons eating in. The chicken kabob is what keeps us coming back but, I've tried the soup and the chick peas and both were excellent. This place used to be my favorites kabob place since it opened in 2008. It was owned by a Pakistani family who cooked everything with love and proprietary recipes. Unfortunately, they sold it to someone else who couldn't maintain the same quality and taste of their food. I tried it recently and was sad to throw away half of the food we purchased. She wasn't too friendly but she wasn't mean either. I ordered the chicken kebab. It came with bread, rice, salad with yogurt - cucumber type of dressing, and I chose chickpeas as my side. They serve you plenty of food period. And I was really loving the chickpeas. I thought the chicken kabob was good, but I don't think you can never go wrong with chicken. I think three stars is fair. I've been fortunate enough to try styles influenced by the Persian, Shojan, Iranian, Afghan, and Egyptian communities that exist here. I have consistently eaten at Kabob Corner on Main St a ridiculous amount of times, cause I really do think they are the best at what they do. They are dearly hospitable to all customers and proudly stand by the food they freshly make. Their kubideh is moist with that flame-grilled char present in all great kabobs, their chicken ridiculously juicy with a gorgeous rich deep orange, their rice is copious and seasoned, and their Afghani nan fresh out of the tandoor. If you can find room in your stomach, dip the nan in a side of chickpeas or their bournee baunjan (it's this great fried eggplant sauce).
