Was a little hard to find from the road they don't have a sign on the building my husband happened to see the door and it had name on there was still very hard to see. The food was extremely good we got a lentil soup when we was seated and then told the three things to choose from she said she would be back to see what we had decided on we both chose the mixed grill there is a refrigerator which you choose what sink you want. Very clean, well ran, organized and super friendly establishment. Upon sitting down, a nice amuse bouche of lentil lemon soup which was hot and tasty was immediately brought to the table. We were never given menus but explained they only really had four platters (chicken, beef, Kafta, or mixed) all served with hummus, salad and rice. I had inquired about a wrap for our 12 year old and was told, they did have wraps but my daughter was fine with a mix platter (which I knew was going to be too much food for her). We also ordered the feta cigars which were phenomenal. Simply, feta in phyllo and fried. Delicious. 3 mixed platters come and yeah, large portion. My daughter and I could have shared ($21 each). Everything on the platters was excellent! We did see a burger go by so I was just a tinge off put by not knowing if there was something else I would have gotten as my husband and I usually get two different items and share everywhere we go. Drinks in a cooler and you serve yourself. We got one large Aqua Pana and a pineapple Jarlesco. We packed up one platter and then moved onto macarons, rice pudding and 2 Turkish coffees. Excellent as well! Fresh and very very good. We are from Pittsburgh and stopped on our way home from a golf event for our daughter. We would definitely stop back. The owner (and all servers) are amazingly friendly. The kabobs were juicy, tender, delicious. Hummus is house made. I'm saying this part tongue in cheek: if you've never been here before, be careful of the owners questions...do you like chicken, steak, lamb, do you like this or that bc he will bring you EVERYTHING you said you like and it will be delicious, but a costly recommendation! If you don't mind a +$40 tab, then accept it all, otherwise order the chicken, OR steak, OR lamb kabob meal. Or a wrap, they do have delicious ones, as well. read more

Staff is superb. I called ahead to ask if we needed reservations for 6 at 5:45 pm, and they let me know to come on in. The lentil soup was delicious and my two kids loved it. I am a big fan of the eggplant dish, the salad, the rice, and the steak. My husband and kids really liked the lamb chops and the pita. I liked the feta cigars also. Kids shared a rice pudding as we were so full at that point, there was barely enough room. We still had two boxes of kebabs as leftovers, so quite the feast! Come support this local gem! read more

We found this place on Yelp. We drove around literally in the parking lot trying to find the restaurant. The electronic sign near the road changes advertising different businesses. They need to get their own large sign on the building. The restaurant is so hard to find if you have never been before. The inside is so beautiful and welcoming! The people are so nice and friendly. Now let's talk about the menu, or the lack there of. Please get a paper menu for us. Anything, and I mean anything you can hand us when we sit down. They seat you at your table, and then you have to get up and walk over to this board prompted up against the counter. Please change this as we absolutely hated it. On my second time in to pick up take out, I watched as people like us were led to the front to see the sign. They seemed as puzzled and confused as we were the first time. Please just laminate a piece of paper, and hand it out at the table. You will save all new guests a lot of stress. Now on to the food. The food is AMAZING! It is so fresh that we have eaten here once a week for the past couple weeks. We have ordered pretty much the same thing. Chicken and steak kabab with salad and hummus. I have an appointment once a month in Boardman. At the end of the day, I usually grab something for dinner after my appointment. This is my new go to place. I have about an hour drive home from Boardman. When I picked up my to go order, I explained this to them. They packaged all the cold items separate from the hot, so the salads were not wilted from the heat. They have great attention to detail and they genuinely care, and it shows. We finished with baklava and Turkish coffee (served in jeweled cups!). Absolutely everything was delicious. Service was great-be sure to keep an eye out for the robotic server!! Things to mention, they don't have paper menus (check out the chalk board by the register for choices) and no glasses just reach in the drink cooler and choose a bottle. Amazing food and service! The lamb chops are out of this world and pair well with the garlic sauce. The eggplant and the various grilled meats (chicken, kofta, beef) were also very delicious and well seasoned. Upon sitting down, we were immediately brought out lentil soup. It was puréed and delicious. My friend and I ordered the mixed grill. Their kafta patties were the best I have ever had in my life. She brought us out a side of garlic sauce and hot sauce with the mixed grill. Pita was fresh, everything was delicious and all on one plate so it could all be easily enjoyed together. If I could give Kabob House 10 stars I would. The best service, the best food, the best atmosphere. Everything about this place is perfect. You'll notice you don't get handed a menu, but you don't need one! The staff is extremely helpful. I definitely recommend the mixed grill platter if it's your first time to help you figure out what you want. Their falafel is also delicious! The lentil soup is sooooo good. I ordered the Mixed Grill, which consists of 3 different meats: organic chicken kabob, steak kabob, kufta kabob (ground beef and ground lamb), rice and a salad. Probably the best kabob dinner that I have ever had. Mixed grill was cooked to perfection with a fresh salad and delicious hummus. Finished it off with baklava and hot tea. Staff couldn't have been more friendly or attentive despite the place being fairly full. Will definitely look to return on future trips to the area.
