Received an email on May 13th for a free meal for my birthday...it was good for 7 days. I drove 10 miles to get my free bday dinner and order other food for my family. When I presented the email I was told "we don't accept those anymore". I told her I had just received it in my email one week ago and the gal behind the counter repeated that they won't honor it. I have patronized this place for over 6 years now and was not happy that they wouldn't honor their bday dinner coupon that they emailed me! This is just bad business! The customer service has gone down over the years. The only reason they're busy is because they're too far from Dearborn. The food is crap in these parts of town. Our order was missing the sides and they just threw rice in when we didn't ask. After we got home, opened the box...and boom! Not what we asked for except the meat. I called back and a lady took my name down and said they would take care if it. The food was bad and we had to toss it that day. Thr meat was dry and we actual tried the rice and I would've rather has boil in the bag rice than what they served. It was salty and very starchy. Fast forward to today, I called to get replacement order and when I arrived I saw him adding something on the calculator and wanted to charge me for the meat portion. I felt as if he thought I lied about the food. Also, the fries were crinckle cut garbage. Ore Ida makes better fries than the cardboard they served. A bunch of young boys preparing the food. I hope hand washing is a part of that deal. By no means was I looking for a hand out, but maybe I'm missing something here. When I've had screwed up orders, I've never been charged. Ever. This is very poor customer service on their end. We will not be back. Save yourself some time and just drive to Dearborn where the real deal is. read more

My family and friends' absolute favorite place to eat, is the best food at the best prices. The staff is really great, especially Vinnie. The Owner Mike and staff always make their guest feel like family. The restaurant is not real fancy, but always nice and clean. Always delicious and just one thing that's something I always notice as a female amputee.... They are always so helpful and kind to me. It means a lot when someone offers to help you when you have one arm and twin toddlers. They are always so gracious- never making a big deal about my disability, but they just help. Both times we have been here we have received friendly, patient service and great tasting food. Their pita bread is especially delicious and is the best I've had in a long time. Make sure you get some extra because you'll want to eat your entrees with it. The Kabob Hut will not disappoint you. All the food is great , spiced just right and prepared with great care. It is top notch! The wait staff is quick and professional. Everything on the menu is delicious. I love the fatoosh salad. I order it with the grilled chicken and extra cheese. The medium size is plenty for 2, especially if you get a side of delicious hummus or a cup of lentil soup. All portions are generous You will need a box for sure. Wow. I didn't think I would find a place that would meet the expectations that I have when comparing Lebanese restaurants to my benchmark favorite, Cedar Kabob in Sterling Heights. But Kabob Hut is on par. Stopped in on my way home from work and ordered up a shish tawook and two chicken Shawarma sandwiches and small hummus to go. order was quickly noted and I had my food in hand in less than 10 minutes. Needless to say, the food was delicious. I'll be back. Nice to have two solid options in the area for Lebanese dining. read more

Wasn't as glorious as I remembered.. The garlic sauce had a weird texture...like a whipped cream or something...like it was melting... This is my favorite place for Middle eastern food! You can't beat the prices for the Shawarma sandwiches, and they are loaded with delicious and very tender meat or chicken. Of all the Middle Eastern places nearby, I would say that this place would be my favorite. The amount of food you get for the price is unbeatable. My friends and I order one of the 6-8 family platters and it came with a full tray of salad, another tray with grape leaves, kibbeh and falafel, and pickled vegetables. Now comes the real entree, on a full long tray with a bed of rice at the bottom came with chicken tawook, kabobs, meat kafta, chicken shawarma, meat shawarma on top. In addition, the combo came with hummus and baba ganoush. None of the meat was over cooked, everything was so tender and delicious. Aside from the amount of food from a family platter, individual entrees are equally as filling. Their lunch salad is a plateful, and just layers of chicken. They definitely don't skimp on the amount of food. The one thing I did wish they have was fresh bread, similar to Kabob House, but I would choose to come here for the great service and quality food.
