We had the chicken meal with the rice, fatoosh, hummus, chicken pita bread with the onions and lettuce for lunch on a Monday. The chicken was dried out and ruined the lunch. We mentioned it to Sam and the other woman and they apologized, but never again. This should never happen, but it does. Someone should taste the food or check on it to make sure it's still good.

I was not impressed with this place at all. There was only one girl working, and you could tell she did not want to be there at all. She was very rude and unfriendly while taking our order and making our food. I ordered a falafel pita wrap. The falafels were very dry. I watched her grab them from the cooler and microwave them. So not fresh at all. There was not enough sauce on the pita to make up for the dryness and I wasn't paying extra to get more sauce. I couldn't even get a drink because she said their machines weren't working, so I had to go somewhere else to get a water. Just a very bad first impression of this place. I love Mediterranean food, it's my favorite cuisine, but I will not be returning to this place.

Great food. Big portions for price too. Good variety on combo meals. I like this place the best for Mediterranean food in Toledo.

New to Med. food but it was excellent. Family run, good portions. Tasted great! Glad I tried it instead of other fast food at the mall.

Went for breakfast and ordered eggs (over easy), hashbrowns, ham, rye toast and coffee. The eggs…read morewere perfect, the hashbrowns were crispy and the toast was fine. Service was great. My issues are the ham was a processed ham roll, and the coffee was pretty much just hot water. If the restaurant owners were real ham lovers, they'd have a "real ham" in the kitchen and they'd slice off a slab of the stuff for us folks that really love it. A nice piece off of a half or whole ham, not that awful "Cumberland Gap ham steak" stuff. Not the same stuff. Oh, real, strong coffee would be nice too.

After my first visit and observation I'm reminded of Cheers "Where everyone knows your name" - your…read moregreeted warmly, treated like your family, handled with care. This truly a wonderful experience for all ages and varying tastes. A tremendous and welcome change we've come to endure from other dining experiences. Here the customer is THE primary focus from the moment you walk in til you walk out the door - BRAVO!! The food, had the Mayberry Mega where you pick your 6 omelette ingredients. Normally a crap shoot in most diners but here it was a home run. The ham and sausage were nice size chunks, juicy, and full of flavor. Spinach, onions, and tomatoes were fresh and perfect sizes and good quantities for the dish. That leaves the cheese my one "ding" would have preferred shredded cheese vs sliced cheese because of flavor and texture - but it didn't take away from a wonderfully prepared omelette made and severed with genuine care. Potatoes were frozen BUT they were prepared exceptionally well for dinner dare they were soft and cooked with a nice crisp. It was a superb surprise and a very welcome one. The coffee was fresh and hot and the standard "acidic" coffees you'd find in most diners anywhere, but overall inviting enough to have a few cups for a discerning coffee "snob" like me. Place was PACKED so all tables and booth were full, but they have a nice counter service with plenty of seating and space to move and eat and be very comfortable for your meal. What's fascinating is the incredible teamwork and collective desire to ensure your time, experience, and meal are spent enjoying your company and food not staring at your watch wondering about time. The entire restaurant was seated, served, and cleared with clean tables within the time I had to get and consume my own breakfast. So if you see a packed house on your arrival and don't desire that counter seat fear not - in this home environment your wait will be short and your day will lose no valuable time - well worth some minimal patience - you'll be glad you did. Your greeted as soon as you walk in by one or more of the extremely hardworking waitresses with a smile - your also sent off with a "Thank you. have a Good Day" by one more waitresses as you leave - both excellent touch of service class enhancing customer experience. I've never seen a more well-run diner or any restaurant from the waitresses to the cooks to the dishwashers the teamwork, attention to details, customer satisfaction, and to the incredible cleanliness of the restaurant despite the constant flow of customers - I've never seen a restaurant so clean and kept so clean the out the day. So what are you waiting for come to Mayberry where a warm greeting, clean home, exceptional food are calling YOUR name today...I'm returning perhaps I'll see you there....Bon Appetite!!

There were two people who came before us, and then a group of 14, and then my husband and me, followed by another bunch of people into a restaurant that was already packed. The waitresses did not even bat an eyelid. They were very polite and were busy doing their work. They were helping seat people as well as checking out people who had just eaten. We only waited about 15 - 20 mins. In the meantime, we chatted with the locals, who told us how often they came here just to eat the pies. When we got seated, the first thing we ordered and got started on were the AMAZING pies (chocolate PB for me and custard for my husband). Oh my God, they were out of the world yummy! We got to watch the ladies on the grill as they made the food. My husband ordered he Swiss steak and I had the double hamburger with all the fixings. The food is great but so are the people who work here --they are just so friendly, have worked here for years and truly care. You don't see this anymore. If I lived here, I would come here once a week to chitchat with them and eat PIE!! Make sure you come here. This place is a gem and has been here since 1948.
