The prices are very reasonable and the best dish is the marinated steak pieces. The chicken is great too but steak is a favorite, and very flavorful. The basmati rice with saffron and sour cherries also a favorite. For dessert, love the Saffron and Rosewater flavored ice cream. It's very refreshing and not heavy. As for the service, very good and attentive staff. Ambience is nice.

If you are looking for authentic and delicious Persian food, you must try this place! We ordered the Kashke Bademjan as an appetizer and the Ash Reshteh Soup and chicken Breast kabob as our entrees. Everything was absolutely delicious, especially their Ash soup. Currently researching the recipe to make myself because it was that good!! Lol Not sure if it's a family run restaurant but it definitely felt like it. Service was welcoming and attentive. 5 stars! This location is right off palisades avenue and street parking is available. Another top restaurant to put on our list.

I was excited to try Kabob On the Cliff out for lunch after finding there was a Persian place nearby. Maybe it was because it was delivery, but I wasn't as impressed. I ordered the falafel, hummus, shirazi salad, beef kabob pita, and gheimeh bademjan stew. The falafel came warm and crunchy and the hummus was nicely seasoned. I asked for Persian flatbread for both orders, since they each came with accompanying bread, but got one order flatbread and one pita. The shirazi salad came with a separate lemony vinaigrette, but it didn't save the salad from being disappointingly bland. The beef in both the kabob sandwich and the stew were sadly dry. The gheimeh was pungent and slightly tart, which came from the lime, and the split peas were perfectly cooked. The fried eggplant on top was tender as well. My other complaint is the mismatch between the online menu and the delivery menu. I wasn't able to order on the phone, as when I called they directed me to place it on a delivery service, but there were no lunch special options available on Grubhub. Some menu items don't appear on the delivery menu as well. Overall, it was a hit or miss depending on the items. Not sure if the experience would be different in person.

Saw people recommend this place on the Facebook group and I decided to give it a try. It did not disappoint. The chicken kebob that I ordered is tasty and flavorful, it's chicken breast meat but it doesn't taste dry at all. The rice, bread and side salad are also very good. I didn't give 5 stars because I ordered 2 extra tomatoes but they didn't give them to me and I didn't find out until I were already home. Fortunately, the extra tomatoes is only 75 cents each, so it doesn't hurt too much! Will return again!

This Persian restaurant was amazing. We tried their Barley Soup which was so good, we had to buy one to take home!!! The Persian salad was very good. My only complaint about it was it needed more dressing. The balsamic mix glaze wasn't enough for me since I need dressing on every leaf; if I'm eating more dry greens than moist... it's too dry for me. I would have asked for more dressing on the side. The Kabob combo for 2 was delicious. We got lamb Koobideh but looking back we would have gotten beef since the platter already comes with lamb (which was the best part of the platter). The chicken skewer was good but was probably my least favorite item on my table. The rice was on point! I hate rice but this basmati rice which is topped with saffron is A1. Finally we decided to get the Iranian Ice cream & it was sooo refreshing!! I could taste the rose in it and the saffron gave it a great taste. Would definitely come back here or order out when we are in the mood for some Middle Eastern food. I didn't see pork on menu so place might be a good place for those seeing more Kosher like restaurants. The waitress was polite and helpful. She helped answer any questions i had and always kept her mask on when we sat in. A Must Go to Restaurant!!

Amazing Persian restaurant. Good service and food at a mostly reasonable price. Could have more variety and more specials, but the main courses are authentic and taste fresh. Recommend to any Middle Eastern food lovers. The hostess Ati she's adorable and very nice and kind.

It was 5pm on a slow Monday so we were seated right away. The interior is cozy, quiet, and clean. We started with 3 Mixed Appetizers along with their complimentary warm bread. The 3 dips were all solid but nothing out of the ordinary. Good flavor, smooth & creamy texture, and great for sharing. I love ordering dishes like the Mixed Kebab Platter for Two as we get a taste of everything and it's family-style. The presentation was beautiful, the meats were tender, and I like that they paired it with rice, bulgur, and some salad. All the meats were tender and well-seasoned but could've been hotter in temperature. I particularly enjoyed the chicken & lamb adana kebabs. My other minor complaint was the sides were not enough to share and the ratio compared to the meats was off. We definitely could've used more rice with the meats. The staff were super kind & friendly the entire time. Decent try overall!

Kofte Kebab (MAIN, 4/5) - Not too dry with packed flavor of all the herbs & beef, I really enjoyed my dish. Went great with all the other accouterments such as slightly cinged wedge of tomato and onion slices, all frolicking on a bed of warm rice that had a nice bite. Adana Kebap (MAIN, 4/5) - My colleague had this one, and I tried a piece. It was juicy and had no hint of gaminess which is always a plus for lamb. 3. But given…read morethat I came here under a different name and for the entirety of my meal I was one of three patrons and it seemed to be in an out-of-the-way strip, I can't say I am entirely surprised. I'm not surprised but I am saddened. The restaurant business is tough, y'all. Support your faves. I knew that I wanted to hop over to Edgewater. I'd heard that the views were nice and late spring was going to be about the best time of year to take them in. I also knew that I didn't want to eat inside and I wanted something ethnic. The jelps led me to Marmaris Cafe and I was happy they did. I was greeted by a very nice women (owner) who led me to a seat I wanted and invited me to explore the menu. Even though the inside was sparse, you could smell the seasoning in the air. That was a good sign. I began my meal with the red lentil soup. Despite being red, the soup color was yellow (thanks to the tumeric and carrot?) and more blended/liquidy than I expected. The flavor, though, was deep, layered and hearty. With my belly primed, I helped myself a hot, heaping bowl of lamb sac tava (and white rice). Oh man. This was incredible. The lamb was nicely seasoned in a rich marinade, ensconced in tomato, pepper and garlic. I mixed the rice in the thick (but bite-sized) pieces of lamb and veggies and let the starch soak up the delicious juices. The food looks straight-forward but I struggled to finish it all. Deceptively filling. Helping with digestion was the piping hot Turkish tea (strong black tea served in beautiful glassware). I left full, happy and very pleased with myself. I am sorry to know that Marmaris/Tosun is no more. I can only hope that was a decision of the owners and not something forced upon them. Eat local. Support small businesses.

You have the sweet tardiness of the lemon combined with the saltiness of the cheese. Speaking of stiff drinks, the señorita is strong and well made. If you had a particularly rough week, you will appreciate the bartender. The glass is large, with about 1.7 Oz of Don Julio 1942 añejo. The view is lovely.
