One of the best Turkish food restaurants! The service is amazing and the food is always SO INCREDIBLY DELICIOUS! Whenever in NJ, a stop at Dayinin Yeri is an absolute must. I always go for the shepherd salad with feta, hummus (with their freshly baked bread!) and, of course, an Ayran. Any meat dish, be it Kebab or Shawarma style, is so fresh and flavorful. For desert, recently tried the Kunafa and well, nothing bad to say about it either! Must try! Street parking though (or very little parking lot in the back).

Was recommended to try this restaurant from a coworker. Came with my Turkish husband and we really enjoyed our dinner here & will be back to try their other dishes! They start you off with very fluffy and hot bread which was very good. We ordered the pide and the mixed grill. Pide was very good and flavorful & crispy exterior! The mixed grill I loved the variety of meats and paired nicely with the rice and a glass of wine. Personally, wasn't a fan of the chicken though. Overall, great service, great food, and cozy atmosphere!

I go here all the time - the last instance I ordered for pickup and ate at home. I love the food whether there or to go. It's delicious and large variety. It can't be beat!

This place is amazing! My first Turkish dinner and did not disappoint!! From the moment I stepped in it's a good feel and service is excellent!! The food is AMAZING!!!! Ordered 5-6 appetizers and a few entree! Everything was so delicious and healthy!!!! And I love that we can bring bottles and celebrated friendship with a bottle of champagne!! Couldn't ask for more!!! Thank you and keep it up!!

I had dinner with a group of six at Dayi'nin Yeri on a Saturday. The restaurant is small, and only has street parking. We were seated quickly since the restaurant only had two other tables seated. The menu was pretty typical for Turkish/Mediterranean food. I got to try a few dips for appetizers, including labne and hummus. We also tried a lamb pidde, which is kinda like a Turkish pizza. For my entree, I got the doner kabab sandwich, which was served in either lavash or a tortilla. The labne and hummus were ok, and I've had much better pidde and doner kabab sandwiches at other restaurants for much lower prices. I also had a Turkish coffee to drink. It was much more watery than I was expecting. Not my first choice for Turkish food.

The food was good, but our combo platter didn't come with Doner kebab (not sliced from the meat rack). Place is BYOB, so you should definitely bring some alcohol. It was Thursday dinner time, but there were only 2 other tables. Good for us, I guess, but not so much for the business. I asked a Turkish coworker, and he said he stopped coming here. I'm not sure the real reason, but the place was empty and quiet. There is a small parking lot but it was already full. You need to find street parking down a few blocks.

Hole in the wall Turkish Middle Eastern cuisine that will impress your taste buds! I made a takeout order for their mixed platter and everything about it had the right flavors. The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The addition of the grilled tomatoes, onions, and Mediterranean style rice helps compliment this dish. I can't wait to come back to taste more of their dishes. Since I am Middle Eastern I can compliment them on their Kabobs. It's done just right. FYI: They have a tiny parking lot next to the building, but street parking is also available. Just be careful of the neighborhood.

Sliced Eggplant appetizer - too bland for my taste. Not a lot of flavor.

This was a great find - super authentic Turkish cuisine. It's a place the locals obviously frequent. The only downside is that they don't serve alcohol. It is apparently a BYOB but this wasn't communicated while I was making the reservation and also the restaurant is far from any other commercial establishments - situated in the middle of a residential area so we were stuck with a choice of non-alcoholic sodas and the like. Now for the good part! The food was on the whole absolutely delicious. I didn't even get pictures of some of the food we ordered because we were so busy devouring it. The Lahmacun, the Sigara Boregi and the Mixed Appetizers were all amazing! The Beyti Kebab was utter perfection! The only thing I didn't care for was the sliced eggplant appetizer with a yogurt topping. Can't remember the name. Great to go with a big group so that you can order a bunch of things off the menu and share it all family style. The portions are very generous and the flavors are amazing. Go!!!

Unfortunately I have to give this place 2 stars. Although my boyfriend and I thought the food tasted good (the kunefe was a big highlight), my boyfriend had food poisioning after having lunch here. He didn't eat anything else that day, so we have to assume that it was due to our meal here. Additionally, the ambiance here is lacking. The space is quite small and dark - the only natural light comes from the front window and a small window in the back where the exit door is. Upon entering, I also thought the restaurant smelled strange...it was like the smell of cigarette smoke and some scent trying to cover up the smoke. Perhaps it was the waiter/waitress, but it wasn't a pleasant smell upon entering.

My brother and sister-in-law highly recommend this place, so we all ordered in one night and I had myself a little buffet of vegetarian bites. The stuffed grape leaves (Yaprak Dolmasi) were succulent and tender. Unlike others I have had, these were neither overly saturated with lemon juice nor bland. The traditional hummus was a wonderfully creamy addition, pairing perfectly with the bread included with our order. The white bean and tomato salad with parsley and onions (Piyaz) was to live for. I might've shared a spoon or two, but I essentially scarfed down the entire salad myself. The star of the show, though, was the special puffy bread. This crispy masterpiece went with everything or was perfect all on its own. I would tear pieces of it, spread a little hummus, and fill it with tomato and bean salad to make myself a sort of Mediterranean taco. My mouth starts watering just thinking about it. Definitely eat here or from here!

Discover this place on Uber Eats and instantly became a fan. The food is very fresh and even after the 10-15 deliver time, everything is still piping hot. Portions are very generous, especially given it's a lunch special that is discount and comes with sides. Everything is very affordable and the staff was even nice enough to call me to offer a mixture of meats in case I wanted a variety to try.

It was 5pm on a slow Monday so we were seated right away. The interior is cozy, quiet, and clean. We started with 3 Mixed Appetizers along with their complimentary warm bread. The 3 dips were all solid but nothing out of the ordinary. Good flavor, smooth & creamy texture, and great for sharing. I love ordering dishes like the Mixed Kebab Platter for Two as we get a taste of everything and it's family-style. The presentation was beautiful, the meats were tender, and I like that they paired it with rice, bulgur, and some salad. All the meats were tender and well-seasoned but could've been hotter in temperature. I particularly enjoyed the chicken & lamb adana kebabs. My other minor complaint was the sides were not enough to share and the ratio compared to the meats was off. We definitely could've used more rice with the meats. The staff were super kind & friendly the entire time. Decent try overall!

Kofte Kebab (MAIN, 4/5) - Not too dry with packed flavor of all the herbs & beef, I really enjoyed my dish. Went great with all the other accouterments such as slightly cinged wedge of tomato and onion slices, all frolicking on a bed of warm rice that had a nice bite. Adana Kebap (MAIN, 4/5) - My colleague had this one, and I tried a piece. It was juicy and had no hint of gaminess which is always a plus for lamb. 3. Service (3/5) - This being a mom & pop store, I think they're short on staff. Usually they're all in the back cooking, so you do need to be a bit patient to flag someone down.
