    Falafel sandwich. Very good!

Really tasty and fresh. I was a little reluctant because I visited in an off hour but glad I tried this place instead of going with a chain restaurant that seemed to be a "safer" choice

The food was really tasty, and our suggestion for you is to come here and try it once. Their food is really good.

I swear Middle Eastern food is the best food! And this Afghan restaurant is so good! I say you can never go wrong with chicken shawarma which is what I got. Portions are so generous and everything about the food and dessert was so tasteful. My favorite thing is how healthy of an option this menu always is. Chicken, rice, and vegetables. You can't go wrong with this place!

Open Mall Hours and Sundays too! The food is ALWAYS fresh and always delicious. Just the right amount of spice and what I like the most, the meat is grilled and prepared FRESH, when you order. The portions are large and the pita is always the right softness and warmth around the meat. There's also vegetarian options which are very good too. I usually get the Gyros Meal which includes French fries and a drink. I have never been disappointed and you know I have high demands. Definitely recommend and it's great to support a local owned business. Gyro Sandwich

I had a nice lunch at the food court of the Southwest Plaza in Littleton. I got a hefty chicken shawarma pita wrap. The chicken was high quality breast found in rotisserie chickens. It also came with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and onions with a blend of garlic sauce. I enjoyed my lunch, and would have it again if I'm at this shopping mall.

The person at the store was very nice and food was good as well. Quantity of food and the spice level was just perfect for us.

Amazing Afghan/Persian good at a great price. The Kabobs were awesome and juicy. I got the big plate and there were leftovers for another meal. The staff are also very friendly.

Situated in this run-down strip mall that is desperately needing some upgrades, the restaurant…read morequietly exists with so much humility. Despite its image, however, the reviews left by previous customers are solid. This convinced me to try them on one Saturday evening. Its inside is very simple with interior like an old Middle Eastern diner feel. They could utilize more decorations to indicate the kind of cuisine (Afghanistan) they represent/boast and yet, that may not be their focus. Most of all, what's important is the "heart", the food to say it precisely. A few tables were occupied by eat-in diners which I noticed upon entry. I wasted no time by proceeding to the front where they take orders. A young man there greeted me. I told him I was in for a to-go order. I thus adding said to him that I would need a minute to decide. As I took the time to study the menu I noticed that the prices of the dishes were quite reasonable. And yet it was hard to gauge the portions of them. I shall see when I get my food though. By the time I had been back to the register after solidifying as to what I would want, a different young man was upfront. He was also polite and welcoming but not to the over-the-top way. His "generic" type of gesture was good enough. I told him what I wanted 14. Lamb Tikka Kabob ($13.99 as of early April of 2026). He said it would be ready in about 10-15 minutes. It was quite right on time when my food came out of the kitchen. Once I had the chance, I started my dinner. Let me quickly summarize the food here: -Portion: Quite good. If mere $13.99 buys this size of food, I would go for it often. -Food quality: Whereas I wouldn't describe it as "excellent" or "exquisite", the plate was filled with good flavors. Everything from the meat to the rice to the salad to the hummus, the quality was solid. The naan bread, however, was quite small and thin (thought they could be a bit more generous.) Is this a typical Afghani style bread? Not sure. I am not versed in the Afghani cuisine (as I've already hinted a bit.) Whether or not I am speaking about the authenticity of the very culinary traditions/styles correctly, this might be as the closest Afghani eatery gem as you can find in this part of town. I don't know how long this restaurant has been around but my assumption is that it's not overexposed to the public eye just yet. Despite the fact that it's located on this busy intersection of Quebec and Evans/Iliff, King of Shawarma & Kabob is indeed a humble business. And yes, I will return to it when I think of reasonably priced solid Middle Eastern food next time.

We finally decided to try what is advertised as the only sit-down Turkish restaurant in Denver, and…read moreunfortunately, it was a major disappointment--we left hungry. There were three of us. We ordered a koobideh sandwich with fries, an Adana kebab plate with baba ghanoush, and a salad. My husband asked if we could have a traditional Turkish shepherd's (çoban) salad, but instead we received a few slices of tomato and cucumber served alongside a single skewer of beef. To make matters worse, the koobideh and Adana turned out to be the exact same kebab. When we asked, the server confirmed they were essentially the same item with different names. The baba ghanoush was served by itself with nothing to eat it with. When we requested bread, we were given a microwaved pita and charged an additional $3. Our total bill was $39, which might sound reasonable, but the value simply wasn't there. The server repeatedly mentioned how understaffed they were, there was no traditional Turkish salad on the menu, and dips were served without bread unless you paid extra. Overall, the experience fell far short of expectations. There are much better places in Denver to spend your money.
