Located in the food court of SW plaza has plenty of clean and open seating to choose from. The menu is somewhat limited to about a dozen items including lamb, chicken, and falafel and everything looked fresh from my side of the counter. Took a couple minutes to fill my order with fresh lettuce and tomatoes and was out the door. The pita bread was soft and thick, lamb was great, and a good example of a proper gyro. I ate lunch here in the not too distant past. Kabob Afghan Cuisine is located inside the Littleton mall at S Wadsworth Blvd and W Bowles Ave. Food was great and staff is very friendly. I had the Gyro plate. The dish comes with seasoned beef and lamb served with basmati rice, salad, hummus, grilled vegetables and tzatziki sauce. I also had a soda and a slice of their baklava. The entree was great. Baklava was okay. I felt that it was average. Also, it didn't take that long to get my food. Keep this in mind if you're considering Kabora for lunch. There is seating nearby. Also, Kabora is a typical restaurant setup in a mall food court. I will definitely consider eating lunch again at Kabora. If you're curious about Afghan food, go for it. Delicious falafel sandwich! The falafel was light and very flavorful! The veggies (lettuce and tomato) was fresh and the bread was pillowy to perfection. Open Mall Hours and Sundays too! The food is ALWAYS fresh and always delicious. Just the right amount of spice and what I like the most, the meat is grilled and prepared FRESH, when you order. The portions are large and the pita is always the right softness and warmth around the meat. There's also vegetarian options which are very good too. Afghan food in Southwest Plaza food court? Yes please. My husband and I spotted this place a couple of weeks ago running a quick errand at the mall otherwise I don't know if we would have found it - but I am glad we did So far we have only tried the Chicken Shawarma plate and it was great! The grilled veggies were delish, the salad was crispy and fresh, the rice perfect and the chicken was yummy! The menu is pretty similar to any other kabob joint so don't expect hugely exotic choices but WOW it was really tasty and satisfying. Next time I will definitely try their house-made pastry!!!! The food was a hot and palatable (falafel sandwich) I can't say that it's anything even close to authentic though, as someone who's traveled to middle eastern countries I was hoping for a more authentic taste. Out of all the options in the mall though, I'd probably rather have this American-ish middle eastern than anything else. It was piping hot and they made it to order. So if I ever come to the mall (and I don't) I would eat here again, but I wouldn't seek it out. Things I think would have really taken it up a bit.... 1. Real bread. Make the bread fresh. On the spot. The could make middle eastern flatbreads in seconds , and it would make the whole thing more authentic. 2. Real falafel. They used frozen pre made falafel. Making falafel from scratch isn't exactly easy, but frozen falafel taste like... frozen falafel. They're not bad, they're just not the same as the real deal. read more

It's a new addition to the food court of Southwest Plaza (on the second floor), but their food is not typical food court quality. The flavors are bold and tasty, and the meat is all Halal. I especially like the Chicken Kabob with their homemade garlic sauce on top. The rice accompanying the platter is very flavorful, with bits of peas, carrots, garlic (and maybe saffron?) in it. The platters provide a good amount of food for $10.99 and this place offers great value. They also sell pastries that they make each morning. We joined a few friends who had been to Kabora before. The food is very good. We had the #5 Gyro Plate. The beef and the lamb were both very tasty and perfectly cooked. The saffron rice was right on. Definitely the bright spot in the food court. We will be back! The food court also has real nice and comfortable adjacent seating. We don't usually spend much time at the mall, but we may come to the mall just for the Kabora food! We happened upon this place while we were in the Littleton, famished and craving Middle Eastern food and intrigued to try them out after seeing their high reviews. My husband had the lamb kobida kabob plate, while I devoured the kabora meat combo (which consists of chicken kebab, lamb kobida, and gyros). Things can easily start to taste the same when restaurants use the same seasonings for all their food, but we were able to differentiate between all the protein varieties as each had their own distinct flavor and taste.
