Kabuki has waxed and waned over the years. The Gardens location has suffered from poor service on busy nights. But the food quality is still solid. "Kabuki's Thai food still holds its ground, Crispy duck curry--rich, deliciously profound. The space is so tight, the service super slow, Strong flavors shine, but my patience screams noooooooo." The panang curry with crispy duck was superb. The sushi was okay, but I think that was the role selection, not the quality. The other items ordered were good. I couldn't snag photos b/c of the urgency we all wanted to eat. Service was super slow so the time it took to get he food exasperated the hunger and desire to eat. :( The dining room feels crowded when it is full. Maybe a new/different layout will benefit the vibe in there and help the servers move around the dining room with more efficiency. Another review giving it to you straight, no chaser by Elizabeth S. aka Lizz aka The Hungry Poet! Enjoy!

After working late, I usually want sushi. I hadn't been to this place in over 10 years, so I thought I would try it again. The parking lot is pretty big, but a bit of it is taken up with valet parking. The restaurant is a decent size, dark but inviting. The service is fast and friendly. The menu has a decent selection but with 30 "Specialty Rolls", 7 have cream cheese and 5 have asparagus, which are cheap fillers. I was disappointed. It's a theme here in Florida to just fill all the rolls with cheap fillers. Anyway, my jasmine tea was good but the water is just tap water. For being in the gardens, I expected better.

If I could give this place 500 stars I would...the food, the service the drinks , just everything about y is place is so fantastic, I come here like once a week!! This waitress at the gardens location , I haven't learned her name yet, but she wears glasses , ugh she's the freaking best!! All locations are great, but pga is the best by far!

Kabuki is our go-to spot when we want a great meal at reasonable price. They offer an amazing happy hour with a variety of delicious tapas starting at just $5 and drinks for under $10. The quality is consistently good, and the prices make it easy to try several different items. If you are looking for a perfect happy hour spot that is easy on the wallet, this is it! Happy hour time 3 pm to 6:30 pm. We spent $63 in 10 items plus 2 drinks

One again, Happy Hour at Kabuki didn't disappoint. Service is rather quick and the food is consistently delicious and fresh. I'm a huge fan!

Kabuki is my favorite sushi/thai spot in all of south Florida! I used to live downtown West Palm and took advantage of their lunch and happy hour specials weekly. I have since reloacted but almost every time I'm in the area I stop by. This was actually my first time at the PBGs location, and it did not disappoint. You can't go anywhere else and get both quality and bang for your buck! For happy hour we each got a drink and split the krab rangoons, squid rings, lava drops, spicy krab roll, and tuna avocado roll. The location is great and service is very efficient. We can't wait to go back!

Unreal! The lobster roll was amazing with a great presentation. If you want high class sushi with great service this is the place to go in Palm Beach Gardens.

Haven't been in a while and went back. Temperature inside was very warm on a hot day outside, the server was not nice at all. Had elderly man with me and when he asked how large the rolls were the answer was "normal" instead of explaining what size the roll was - ie: 6/8/10 pieces. Also asked for a substitute be made that the restaurant has always done for me in the past and server said they don't do it even though I made it very clear that they have done it before. So to sushi Yama instead and for the restaurant REMEMBER - one staff member can ruin your grade.

I've been coming here for years with my aunt for our sushi dates. They have one of the best happy hours ever! Everything is so delicious and great prices. Some of the best crab rangoons ever too. The food comes out very quickly as well.

With outdoor seating, kabuki is a great little place I come for a sushi lunch. Friendly staff. Parking lot in the back.

A huge amount for the $31 price tag but worth it. I wish they'd add more veggies but still an excellent dish. The vegan gyoza dumplings were delicious. Slightly charred and melt in your mouth. The bad - seaweed salad at $9 was mostly shredded lettuce with a little seaweed in a margarita (?) glass to make it look like a lot. I like seaweed and was disappointed that this had such a small amount. The ugly. I came after the lunch crowd rush at 1:00. There was a booth available and waiter would not seat me there because he said it's for larger parties. So he sat me underneath a fake stiff Christmas decoration that was cutting into my neck and back. Very uncomfortable. During the half hour I was there a single woman was seated there and three more booths opened. So this experience was uncalled for. I left the waiter a 15% tip where I'd usually tip 20 for lunch. And by the way the reviews saying tip automatically added are incorrect. You get a suggested tip starting at 18! My waiter today is reason tips should be discretionary for service received. My waiter didn't give me water or check on me during the meal either

Seems like a good option if you are looking for sushi in this part of Palm Beach Gardens.

For a split second, I thought maybe the place had been rented out for a private party we weren't invited to. But, trusting the good reviews, we decided to stay and risk it. Worst case? We'd get our food before the menus even hit the table. We started with the curry puffs--crispy, warm, nicely seasoned. Solid little bites, though not exactly the type of appetizer you dream about later like an old high school crush. My salad with peanut dressing followed, but the dressing was more watery than I'd like. Tasty, yes, but I like my peanut dressing to hug the lettuce, not run away from it. And then--boom--the Penang curry chicken arrived and stole the spotlight. This was the real deal. The flavors were rich and balanced, with that "made from scratch" depth you can't fake. I asked for mine spicy and they nailed it--just the right amount of heat to make me sweat a little but still want to keep eating. And, I like it hot! Mission accomplished without losing flavor!! My wife went mild, and hers looked like it had been painted in softer pastels while mine was done in neon flames. Same dish, two totally different personalities. The owner came by to chat, and she was a delight. Turns out they grow their own peppers and make all their curries from scratch. Suddenly, it all made sense--the freshness, the layered flavors, the fact that my taste buds felt like they were on a guided tour of Thailand instead of eating reheated sauce from a jar. So yes, the restaurant was empty when we walked in. But this isn't a ghost town--it's a hidden gem. A 30 years in business hidden gem. Next time, I'm bringing more people along, partly for the company and partly so I don't feel like I accidentally booked a private dining experience.

It's a small restaurant but very cozy. Amy, the server was very nice. When I arrived there were a few people eating. The one thing I actually found annoying was the man at the table behind me was on his phone speaking loudly the entire time I was there. He finished dinner maybe moments before I did. I would've appreciated had Amy told him you know not to be on the phone like that while people were eating. It was very very disturbing. Another thing I didn't really like was that they didn't give you a salad or something with your dinner. Most Thai restaurants either give you soup or a salad with your dinner. Now onto the food. The food was delicious. I started with the shrimp a blanket and for dinner I had pad siew. I'm probably not spelling it correctly, but it was very tasty. The portion of noodles was quite large. I got the combination version that's supposed to come with shrimp chicken and beef. There were only two shrimp in my dish which I was not happy about. Overall, it was a good experience. Yes it would've been better if I didn't have a loud man screaming into a phone behind me through the whole meal. And yes, I would've probably enjoyed a salad before my dinner. But overall, it was a good experience and I probably would return.

The food was served as soon as it was fired, so everything came to the table hot and fresh. Overall, the food was good - - not always great. The Peking Duck was exceptional. The duck meat was tender and flavorful, the skin crisp and the portion massive. I loved that the steamed pancakes were separated by thin paper layers, so they didn't stick together. The brisket fried rice was good - I still prefer roast pork, but that's a matter of personal taste. The Chicken Pad Thai had a wonderful flavor and balance - but the noodles were overcooked, and so a bit gummy. The orange Chicken had wonderful flavor, and I really enjoyed the perfectly cooked orange peel. Unfortunately, the chicken was overcooked - and a bit stringy. The bao buns were disappointing. The Brisket was not sauced and it was a bit dry. There was a sauce over the top, but it would have been much better had the brisket been dressed. The pork Belly Tiki Bao Bun was much better - and the meat was sauced. Overall we had a good meal and really enjoyed the beautiful modern asian setting.

Very extensive menu that has something everyone can enjoy! Having been to Thailand a few times, I was skeptical on how authentic the "street food" section was, but was pleasantly surprised with the larb, which was cooked perfectly and had the right balance of tangy and spice. Even though I ordered it max spicy, it could've been spicier (I think they were trying to go easy on us...) We also ordered the summer rolls, the pad thai with duck, and the volcano chicken (essentially was fried chicken in a sweet and spicy sauce over steamed veggies). We absolutely loved the duck (incredibly crispy outside and tender / flavorful meat inside) and the pad thai (not too oily, and full of flavor from veggies and egg) - both as separate meal items and together - also presented beautifully! The summer rolls were a big hit too! While there is plenty of seating - it is fairly popular, so would recommend calling to make a reservation if you want a booth or a specific time.
