Nice Thai restaurant. Stoped on lunch with a friend who wanted Thai. The atmosphere was good and our server very prompt. We both ordered curry, mine was Red Curry, hers was pineapple. We also ordered miso soup and spring rolls. The soup was first and I'll say it was miso, nothing special but fine. Both curries looked wonderful and tasted delicious. My friend said the pineapple curry was the best curry she's ever had. The only little hitch that we had was that our eggrolls did not come out until after we were eating our curry. Ordered the deluxe pad Thai and the smell the food gave off made me nauseous, I've worked with food for many years and I knew something about that was off , I sent it back and got sushi instead and the server was rude gave no "sorry about that" or anything instead said "what do you want instead" and the sushi I got instead had chewy seaweed lol it had to be my unlucky day or something because I love sushi and I've never had an experience like that. This place has the absolute best happy hour in the area. It goes from 3:00 to 6:30, which is longer than most, and has a plethora of options. There are cheap rolls, soups and salads, and appetizers of all kinds. They have five and $6 drinks. I highly recommend the martinis. The staff is all super friendly, although sometimes it appears to be a little bit overworked. If you are in a rush, you might not want to come here during peek hours. The bathroom has three stalls and is very clean, you can sit inside or outside, they have both covered and uncovered areas, and dogs are welcome outside. Super fun place! read more

Asian Kabuki is located on PGA, and we use it for "send-off" lunches for coworkers who will be departing the company. Not quite Japanese and not quite Thai, it is a mixture of Asian cuisine for Americans. Menu is fairly comprehensive: Sushi, soups, salads etc. For whatever reason they list appetizers as "tapas" which is definitely not an Asian phrase and there are menu items that are pretty much Chinese in origin. That being said, food is actually pretty good, and you should be satisfied with whatever you get. As it was lunch time, there are some lunch combos that you can choose from. The "you pick two" combos have a choice of entrée and sushi roll or two sushi rolls. After looking at the sizes of the various options, you are much better off with the entrée / roll choice as there is definitely more there. Lunch specials come with salad or soup. Salad consisted of iceberg and a piece of cucumber with canned ginger dressing. Good but nothing to write home about. Service was good and the place gets busy, even at lunch time. You will definitely want to call ahead for a table. Prices were average for the area. Parking is available behind the place, but you will want to use the valet on weekends as the lot is pretty small. read more

We went for late lunch and enjoyed the meal. They have a pick two option with getting two sushi rolls, or getting one sushi roll with entree. And soup or salad to start off with. Pick two- Started with miso soup. Tried some of Sam M's side house salad which was fresh. I ordered drunken noodles spicy with veggies. I could have added protein but didn't. In addition, I got the veggie roll. Everything tasted really good. The only thing which could have improved was the noodles ratio compared to the vegetables. I felt the plate had way too much veggies and so little noodles. But overall very flavorful. ~ read more

I started off with some sashimi tuna and then had the basil fried rice with shrimp as my main dish. The seafood was extremely fresh and delicious. I would have expected a little more kick from the main dish since it had the hot pepper symbol on it, but was still good. Way more food than I could eat in one sitting. The service was excellent. I like how even though your waitress may have been helping someone else another waitress would come fill your glass. Not because you asked, but because they saw it needed done and just did it. There is outdoor and indoor seating, so depending on what you are looking for from an atmosphere perspective, you kinda have your choice. Went to kabuki last night which is one of my family's fave restaurants in the area. I got edamame, the Philly roll and the Tanzana roll which was so yummy. We went around 7:15 and sat outside which was nice as it wasn't that crowded outside as opposed to inside. read more

Kabuki was a treat! We tried it for the first time and really liked it. They have so many different things on their menu and it was tough to pick what I wanted to eat. We started with their Tom yum soup, which was so delicious! Totally recommend it if you like spicy food. Their cold sake was very good too. We also tried their pineapple fried rice and what a presentation! Look at the photos. The fried rice were great. I tried their dragon dynasty sushi roll that had shrimp, avocado, krab meat on top and other things. Everything tasted good and their service was excellent. This used to be my favorite local sushi place but after the interaction I had today with their hostesses I won't be going back. Unfortunately this is the second time that I've gotten there about 5/10 mins before the rest of my party and they've refused to seat me. The restaurant was empty at 5pm on a Saturday but they insisted they couldn't seat a hungry customer who's ready to order. Great sushi and Thai menu items at good prices! It's located right next to Rocco's Taco and shares a common outdoor area with giant chess and other games. I'm not a fan of the valet parking as this limits the available parking when valet is unnecessary. I enjoyed the California and Spicy Tuna rolls along with some wine. I will be back during happy hour after reading the reviews! I enjoyed the outdoor seating since it wasn't hot. They even have space heaters for the winter cold evenings. I'm glad that we tried Kabuki again. We were pleasantly surprised. The sushi was far more appealing. First of all, it was obviously fresh (no "fishy" smell or presence). Everything was flavorful and the different rolls were presented beautifully. Our guests all had cooked dinners - the steak and the stir fry chicken were tasty and plated well. I hadn't noted their sake list before - plenty of choices; something for everyone. We were seated outside, and I strongly recommend that - not because of COVID, although there's that, but the lower ceiling inside gave it the impression of being small - plus the low "mood lighting" didn't quite mesh with the television and the hubbub around the bar. Door area was very crowded and they only had one person dealing with the phone, getting people on the wait list, and taking care of people coming to pickup takeout. We were initially told 20mins wait time for two people, but my brother found 2 open seats at the bar. We ordered a spicy tuna roll and some sashimi to share, as well as two Thai entrees. I always said there's too many restaurants on PGA and none that are good enough. You can tell by the amount going out of business, reopening and re-closing etc. Chardonnay, Capital grille, La Masseria, Salute our exceptions I believe otherwise subpar generally. Yama has gone down horribly I'm sorry to say and went to Kabuki. Well, I don't eat at a messy slightly dirty sushi bar and it was enough said.....
