I had my first cut at Kader's yesterday and it was outstanding. He has recently moved to accommodate his growing business; it was busy, but the flow through was impressive and the outcome was a perfect haircut. There were two other barbers handling walk ins and their work was equally impressive. Besides being a great barber Kader was a gracious host. My son's both raved about their cuts and the overall experience (something that you don't usually hear from teenagers). Suffice it to say that we're excited for our new barber. read more

Fair prices, great service, and a great haircut. Having come to this barbershop for the first time I didn't necessarily know what to expect aside from the reviews that I had read. I made an appointment online and was seen promptly upon arriving to the barbershop. I was greeted with a friendly welcome and felt like the Barber really took the time to give me a great haircut. As someone that's very picky I have to say they did a fantastic job. I left with exactly what I wanted at affair price especially considering the quality of the haircut. Considering that many other barbershops in the area charge $40 or more, I think $25 is a great bargain especially considering what you get for the money. I receive men's style undercuts for my hair and was denied service because I was a woman. When I approached the owner asking why he said he did not know how. My hair texture and length and cut style is no different than a mans but he refused because I was a woman. I advice them to put up a sign that says NO WOMEN ALLOWED if they're going to be this way. Not to mention his other male clients are very rude and disrespectful after we attempted to find out his reasoning. Trash. Thanks a lot buddy. Also, I have given him a cease and desist after he inappropriately messaged me on WhatsApp. He has now added my close friend on Facebook, messaged her, and has sent me several messages despite me asking him to leave me alone. For the last time, my hair was NOT LONG. It was the same length any man would have had coming in for a number 2 shave on the sides of my head. For years I've driven by this building to and from work. The other day I say a nice new stand alone sign advertising a barber shop. If you read my other posts- I only recommend something I whole heartedly feel was a great experience and or value. After years of going to other either high end hipster barber shops where you pay $80 for a hair cut and beard trim.... or the cheapo chop shops where you have an awkward experience, bad cut, and get asked by the female stylist (who usually isn't a barber) if you have a wife (no, I have a husband... yes a man married to a man....not that it's abt of your business at all)..... I needed a hair cut so bad tdy so I pulled in. Shop is clean relaxed and I got my hair cut by an actual barber who we could clearly communicate, conversation wasn't awkward or prying.. and this guy can cut guys hair! I walked out after paying what I felt was too little for what I got and the great experience. Nice place, nice price, nice location, nice barber, nice cut! Best least expensive barbershop close to Mason. I've tried them all at this point. Try it out- he made my day! read more

I've had a haircut from all the barbers and all have done a very good job. Their online system works well and it's not crowded.

Came to this barbershop after a long day of debating where to go. After several failed attempts and calling many other shops, this location was the only one that answered my call. My mom and I were instantly greeted by the owner, Jasmine and her colleague. I was a bit nervous as I thought that their specialty was cutting men's hair but I took a chance and couldn't be happier! Jasmine did an incredible job on my hair and my moms! She really listened to what we wanted and made sure that we'd be happy with the final result. She has a grand opening deal so we paid for two people what other salons charge for 1! I seriously recommend this place. If you want amazing, kind and friendly service, come here. Abdel Kader is a nice and polite person who greets you when you come inside to his store. When I came the first time, he did a great job in terms of the length and type of the hair cut that I wanted. The second time I came, he had one employee working with him, but he was waiting for another employee to come and help. That employee was running late. Abdul Kader seemed upset because of that and he rushed through my hair cut to get to the next customers. My haircut was not bad, but it was okay, 3 stars. My first haircut was 5 stars. So, I am giving 4 stars to this this place to show that I am a fan, and I like Abdel Kader and his service, and I also understand when your employee does not show up, you feel pressure, but the hair cut of your customers should not be rushed. The price per haircut is $18 if you pay cash, and $20 if you pay by credit card. It would be nice if you remove the $2 charge for the credit card, since most people pay with credit card these days. read more

Haircut is ok however, the owner tends to argue with the customer. When your paying for a haircut and you mention that the Barber missed something and to please fix it the last thing you should hear is that it's your fault the haircut came out how it did. If you arrive 2 min late he expects a phone call in advance to mention your late but when he's late to open in the mornings he doesn't call his customers to say he will be running late. As a business owner if you are going to have certain standards with customers it also goes both ways. read more

Everyone is very friendly, great barbershop located in the heart of Fairfax. Fredy was great! Perfect cut and will definitely be back.

It almost seems like l went to the wrong shop. I wasn't greeted at the door, the barber was not at all welcoming, making me feel as if l were an inconvenience. There was another customer in another chair and there was no conversation or sense of warmth there either. My haircut was good but nothing really special. Initially it was the correct length except for a lock of hair that was longer and fell onto my forehead. I asked if he would trim it to blend with the rest of my hair. He obviously misunderstood me and cut my hair all over again, except for the hank over my forehead. I quit at that point and paid, tipping generously. There was a meager goodbye, with no inquiry as to my satisfaction and no invitation to return. Most of what I have written here is window dressing. I only wrote it because my experience was so dramatically different from most other reviews. Bottom line is that they are in business to do haircuts and that's what I got. Despite still having hair hanging onto my forehead when l finished, it was a decent haircut, better than most that I've had since moving to Fairfax last summer. I won't condemn them on a single experience, so I will give them another try. I will also write another review after that. read more

Worth the drive from Silver Spring, MD. I started there while I was getting an oil change at Fairfax Hyundai and needed a haircut. Jasmine, the owner, consistently gives me an excellent haircut, which included a hot towel and shoulder rub for less than it costs at a "no frills" barber in Silver Spring. It is the type of barber worth driving the extra mile for and it is within walking distance (1/2 mile) if you are getting an oil change or work done at Fairfax Hyundai. Now I make a trip all of the way to Fairfax when I just need a haircut. read more
