He told me, "The representative from the pacemaker company was so friendly and personable and immediately put me at ease. The MRI technician was very kind and even asked if I would like to listen to music during the MRI. The gentleman who escorted me to the imaging department could tell I was nervous and did everything he could to reassure me. Three wonderful men treated me like I truly mattered." We desperately needed a positive experience with a local hospital, and Kadlec provided exactly that. Compassionate care makes such a difference--especially when a patient is already anxious--and this team went above and beyond. We highly recommend Kadlec Medical Center. I understand urgent care can be busy, but a simple greeting or a little communication would have made a big difference. The only person who was kind and respectful was Nurse Eneyda, and I truly appreciate her. We bring our children to urgent care because they need help, not to feel dismissed or mistreated. Two of my doctors demanded that I go back to the ER (the final time). I did, only to be told by the Kadlec ER Receptionist "I'd love to fulfill your expectations, but I doubt it will happen. We don't admit people this way. You have to be, like 'septic sick'". I had to place emergency phone calls to my doctors, again to be admitted, three months after my first, of four, excruciating gallbladder attacks. Once admitted, my care was incredibly good. However, being admitted was every bit as painful as the gallstones I was forced to live with for three months. Sorry Kadlec, one star for you.
