Kael was an amazing host! The accomodations were exactly as he described! He had wine waiting for me, chocolates for the kids and fresh coffee from a local shop for us to enjoy when we arrived. He even helped us carry all of our groceries into the condo from the parking garage! The place was, by far, the best appointed place we had ever stayed in and we travel quite a bit! The place had all kinds of spices, every cooking utensil we needed and even plastic bags for making sandwiches to take into Yellowstone!! But what really made our experience special with Kael was he went the extra mile, like when he lent my son a fishing pole so he could fish and kept in touch with us periodically throughout our stay. Huge shout out to Kael, who is property manager for several homes, condos, etc in Big Sky Montana. We booked a condo in Feb for Christmas week, to ski. Kael called me with the awful news that the condo had been sold and the new owners wouldn't honor our contract. But he had already done everything needed to save our vacation - he had reached out to an number of other agents and had found us a near duplicate and negotiated the same price we were paying for the first one. Because of Kael, I had only the briefest moment of panic - because he had already solved the problem for us, i didn't have to panic. And the new condo wasn't under his management, so he wasn't going to get anything for his work - he just did it to make sure that we were taken care of! And he followed up with the promise that if I needed anything further, to just call his work number - we have texted several times since then, and he is very responsive. I just want to say a huge thank you to him - he had no control over the sale or the withdrawal of the condo from VRBO, but he made sure that our family Christmas was not ruined. Hubby and I rented a property managed by Kael and he was a fantastic host/property manager! It was a rustic cabin, but he had it outfitted like a 5-star hotel. When the weather got cold he brought us a truckload of firewood, and while he was at it he made sure the hot tub was working well; he gave us awesome recommendations for places to see and eat; he even offered to take us fishing! We had an amazing week at the cabin on galatin river from Kael, we couldn't have asked for a better host he was amazing! He was so hospitable gave great recommendations to local spots which didn't dissapoint! The location was amazing the cabin was adequately stocked with the basics very comfortable beautifully decorated! We asked Kael if the cabin had a cooler for our road trips to Yellowstone and he generously dropped one off for us! Thank you Kael we will definitely return! Kael is an absolutely FANTASTIC property manager and host! My husband and I just wrapped up a week long stay at one of the condos Kael takes care of in Big Sky, MT. The condo was stunning, spotless, and so comfortable. It was also right at the base of the ski hill so competition in that region is fierce, however we'd be hard pressed to find a better place to stay. Kael always made himself available via text and phone calls to answer any questions we had, and went out of his way to offer suggestions on things to do in the area, where to dine, and even if we just needed something for our stay that wasn't already provided in the condo. The best part about the property was the private hot tub, which was PRISTINE! The chemistry and cleanliness was on point and was obviously taken care of meticulously. Warning... do not rent from this place/person Kael Wiltse. My family rented this log cabin for our trip to Big Sky, Montana, and from the moment we got there we were harassed by this owner/property manager. He told us 2 days before we arrived that we could not park our RV on the property, even though there was plenty of room. My brother and Mom were already en route to Big Sky in their RV's, but were staying in the house. Despite the late notice, we accommodated his request by finding somewhere else to park the RV's, but got permission to bring it on property to unload. We did that. He called within an hour of the RV's arriving and screamed at me to move it immediately because it had been there too long in his mind. We did. Then, when my brother was leaving a day earlier than the rest of the family we got permission to bring the RV on property again to load it up, and within a half hour of the RV arriving I got another call where I was screamed at and told to pack and get off the property immediately. He was able to cancel our VRBO reservation and kick us off for literally no reason. I have a 1 year-old baby and all the gear that goes with traveling with a little one, and had to stop my vacation to pack and move to a hotel. WE DID NOTHING WRONG. My family rents all the time on VRBO or other home rental websites and have no problems. But since he cancelled the reservation we could not leave a review on the website to share our horrible experience with this property. Which is why I am sharing it here.
