The staff is very friendly and the cabins are clean. If you want a mountain getaway and horseback ride, this is the place to go. You will love the views and quiet time. Service is also excellent at McGills. Great food and staff.

Everyone was so nice and the area was beautiful. Saloon was great only open 4:30-10, need someplace for people to hang out if weather took a turn besides laying up in your cabin. But other than that it was perfect without a car to visit places. I will go back in a few years!

Located between Big Sky and Yellowstone National Park, this was the venue for my cousin's wedding. All of the guests were able to book their cabins here and it was BEAUTIFUL! They have activities that you can book ahead of time. My sister, husband and I booked the 2-hour horseback riding ($120) and it was definitely worth it. We had so much fun and would highly recommend this to anyone that visits. Your stay includes breakfast at McGill's and it was pretty decent and they change up the items daily. Waffles, eggs, sausage, pastries, fruit, biscuits & gravy, yogurt & granola, coffee, tea, juice. McGill's is also available for dinner and it's so convenient. I recommend making reservations. The ranch is roughly 45 minutes to Bozeman airport and also 45 minutes to the west entrance into Yellowstone National Park. The wedding was gorgeous, and the ranch sets the perfect atmosphere of a classic Western vibe. The whole family had a great time. It's a beautiful ranch and a gem along the Gallatin river, 10/10.

Food was outstanding! Service is always delightful, our server was attentive but not intrusive, kept our drinks coming too. We have always enjoyed our visits to 320 Ranch.

Best meal of the trip (other than what we cooked at home)!! Everyone is from Texas, and you can tell by the hospitality they provide here. Strong drinks by the bartenders and INCREDIBLE food by the chef (Luke, from Wisconsin). We asked to meet him, but he was the only chef and working sooooo hard for the restaurant. I wouldn't have known by the quality of the food, this was an amazing experience and the appetizers, entrees, and desserts went above all of our expectations! Definitely a must-try for visitors and locals alike. We started with the trout cakes, and wild mushroom & game appetizers. AMAZING. The flavor profiles are ridiculously unique and made the perfect start. The elk tenderloins were absolutely delectable and the huckleberry fig jam that comes on top of it is absolutely to die for. The parsnip puree was delightful and the perfect topping for these. For dessert: huckleberry bread pudding & a chocolate, coffee creme brûlée-- this tasted like you mixed an espresso martini and a tiramisu cake together. And the bread pudding had the most unique hint of huckleberry and vanilla bean; the perfect end to an incredible dinner.

We only visited the ranch to attend the Thursday night Mountain Medicine class. It was a small class when my husband and I attended with only one other couple, but so worth the drive from the Big Sky Resort. You get a great bit of education about the ranch's herstory, how to identify some common medicinal plants, and what to do to draw out medicine from plants like in a tincture or herbal infusion. The teacher was very knowledgeable and it was just a well-rounded workshop on commonly found trees and flowering plants and how to work with them. I highly recommend the class and a visit to 320 Ranch!

Y'all made me feel like a Montana cowgirl! Good place to grab a meal! The main dining cabin is beautiful and everything you'd want a rustic cabin to be. And the views... well, it just doesn't get much better.

Stayed in mid October... Cabin riverfront Pros: gorgeous! Pristine location to Yellowstone. Lovely Mountain View's, right on the gallatin river. Nice staff, easy check in, check out. Cabin stocked with all your needs , free continental breakfast included! Cons: WiFi is awful, in case of emergency and needing to get ahold of someone or vice versa it's near impossible. Have to physically leave your cell phone right next to the front door of cabin near WiFi extender outside. Still only 1 bar at best. Restaurant closed for season Bed is extremely hard and very uncomfortable Shower is like one on a travel trailer, can't even turn around Pricey!......over $400 a night.

Loved 320 Ranch, we stayed in a mountain side cabin in late August of this year. The cabins are cozy and well appointed with free Wi-Fi and the beds are so comfortable. Free breakfast for the guest and it was great food. We had dinner at McGill's, I had the NY Strip and fries and hands down the best meal that I had on the trip. If you are going to Yellowstone this is a great jumping off spot. Super close to the West Yellowstone gate so very easy to get through the gate in the early morning before the traffic backs up. It would actually be less expensive to use 320 Ranch as your lodging versus staying in the park. If you are fishing the rivers in and around West Yellowstone this would be a perfect base of operation. I didn't get to ride with the 320 Ranch team, but that is definitely a bucket list item for next time. If you want to wake up and feel like you are in Montana, this is the place for you. Accommodations and the services are great, and the people at the ranch are so nice.

Came down for a 2 hour horse ride while vacationing in the area. We called ahead of time to see if a day hike would be good idea, but as inexperienced riders, they suggested we stick to 2 hours, or else we'd be sore. I think it was a perfect amount of time. We took the river side trail where we got to go along the river, through a part of the stream, and into a beautiful meadow full of sage bush. We didn't see any wildlife but the views were great. It's a pretty slow pace so I don't think anyone nervous would be uncomfortable. My horse name was sorrel Buddy and he was the best horse for me. He would stope to think about his steps he would take and was very careful not to trip on roots or rocks that may have been sticking out. All the handlers were very nice and I would highly recommend! Don't forget to tip!

Upstairs cabin (we got the 3 bed , 3 bedroom cabin . 2 large beds , 1 twin ) sofa folds out to a bed as well

Our server was efficient, he brought us a pitcher of water after we quickly downed our first glasses. We ordered 3 burgers and the steak sandwich. The burgers and fries were all great. The steak sandwich had maybe 2oz of meat on it and a few arugula leaves. We called attention to the measly sandwich with the waiter...like surely this can't be right for $33? He didn't act like it was unusual, but offered to swap it out for another burger at our request. I wish I would've taken photo of it, because it was comical. Especially next to the huge burger and huge turkey club sandwiches they were bringing out. There were a LOT of flies and bees around our table constantly. All other tables had one of those fly fans on them, but we didn't get one. The flies were abundant and annoying. This was the first meal we've eaten at Big Sky, so I can't say whether or not we would return. Perhaps at dinner. It has a great reputation. But I wouldn't order the steak sandwich again.

Perhaps the bar was backed up, so when I placed my order for a beer, I expected it might be a moment. Unfortunately I didn't expect it to require 25 minutes of patience, while onlooking new arriving customers whom were receiving their bar beverages within reasonable waits. I politely asked our server how that beer was coming and he replied that he'd check. Several more minutes past and he returned with an apology and promise that it was coming soon. Mind you, the beer I ordered was in a can. More time passed and I asked the server if I need to go to the bar myself and talk to the bartender and he insisted that it wasn't necessary. I waited a few moments and witnessed lots of discussion but not beer being procured. I then walked up to the bar and relayed the situation to the bartender who then handed me a beer different than the one I had just requested directly to his face. Tossed it to me and then asked if I wanted it in a glass. Over the rest of the meal, I was given 3 weird, long, unaccountable apologies. The cost of the beer was left on the bill. Photo of receipt included. I also asked for our bill to be separated for our part of 2. Instructions were not followed and bill was instead split in half. Steak was ok.
