A young girl ran a red light going about 35 mph, she hit the back of an SUV. The SUV's back bumper…read moreflew off and.... hit the front end of my brand new Honda Civic. It did some damage and I had it appraised at Honda. The damage was about 2,000 worth. Long story short the young girl's insurance company, State Farm (which is honestly a pleasure to deal with) suggested Clarksville Collision Center and set me up with an appointment. I arrived for an estimate and was able to leave in about 15 minutes after arriving. The customer service was top-notch from the time I walked in to when I walked out of the door. Before I left I was set up with an appointment and was guaranteed a rental car would be ready and waiting at 8:00am. The day came and guess what? The rental was there, my car was taken and I was left with a Chrysler 200. Took about ten minutes, tops. They said that it could be upwards of six-eight days. It didn't take near that long! Three days later I got a call and my car was ready. When I arrived I found my brand new car... looking brand new again! My car was in excellent condition. It had been washed, detailed and repaired with amazing skill. The whole process was just so easy. They made my experience seamless and I really got the impression that my car was in good hands. Everyone that I came across was polite and was genuinely happy for my business. When my car was finished I even received an awesome chocolate bar with a car and Clarksville Collision on it in a little plastic case from Schimpff's Confectionery. What was even better is I received a touch up kit for my exact vehicle for small scuffs and scratches. Overall an excellent experience with a fantastic staff, one of the best group of people to work with that I've come across. I highly recommend this auto body repair shop.

It wasn't an insurance claim, and I was paying out of pocket. Mayden was about the only shop that seemed to understand my needs and was willing to work within my budget. And when repairs reavealed some previously repaired damage that complicated things, he didn't drag me down a rabbit hole in terms of cost. Instead, he gave me a solution that met my needs and fit my budget. You don't see that type of cooperation, honesty and integrity much these days. What a find! I will be going there for all my auto body needs, big and small, going forward.

I stumbled across Hagedorn Collision Center when I was in search of a nearby shop to get my side…read moremirror replaced. Nearby is now New Albany, Indiana for me and the search showed it was a couple minutes away on 5th street just off of the historic mansion row of Main Street. I called them up one recent afternoon and they told me if I was there before I think 4 p.m. they could see me for an estimate. The person on the other end of the telephone had to check if they had availability as they had been pretty busy recently but fortunately it turned out that they could squeeze me in. I had called a couple other places including in Louisville but the voice on the other end of the telephone was so sweet that it made me feel more comfortable choosing this place to take my vehicle. The friendly customer service made me feel as if they would perhaps be more attentive or fair in their work and prices and whether that's true or not, it's definitely proof that a good receptionist and good customer service is important. I believe the receptionist's name is Jenny. So the last name of this business is an uncommon one and obviously it's the same one as our very own Louisville Yelp leader so I thought it very cool that it was this place I chose to take my vehicle to. I mean I haven't run across too many Hagedorns and so when I brought up the name to the receptionist, she was surprised that I knew her and told me that she was related to the family business. Well after talking a bit, it turned out that it wasn't the same person we were talking about but that there were just two people with that same uncommon name in the area. Funny coincidence. I had a great experience at Hagedorn Collision Center. The family operated business gave the same friendly customer service in person that I had over the phone call. Everyone I spoke to had that Southern hospitality charm that it made me feel like they were welcoming me into their home. One of the Hagedorn staff got all the details from my vehicle and after a search gave me a couple of different options including one that saved me quite a bit of money. I paid for the part and a couple of business days later they called to let me know the part was in and that I could drop off the vehicle. They double checked to see if the the part was indeed the correct one and after confirming, they told me the vehicle would be ready the next day after installing and going through the paint department. The next day they gave me that friendly call and gave me a nice welcome back into their shop. They told me to check the vehicle to make sure I was happy with the work and after checking, I paid, they thanked me for the business and I went on my way. I hope I don't find myself in situations where my vehicle needs a collision center but I know if I do end up needing it, Hagedorn Collision Center will be the first place I call up. If you need something simple such as a mirror replacement, getting rid of any size scrapes or dents, or bigger work done on your vehicle, I can definitely vouch that Hagedorn Collision Center has amazing customer service, fair prices, and good work.
