My wife recently attempted to get out of her car in the parking lot and found it extremely slippery--unsafe to the point where she had to move her car to another area. Unfortunately, the conditions were just as bad throughout the lot. This is a basic safety issue that should not be overlooked. I reported the concern, expecting it would be taken seriously. Instead, her membership was canceled. While it was later reinstated, the initial response was surprising and, frankly, concerning. I then went to the facility to raise the issue directly with management. I approached the situation calmly, simply trying to point out that unsafe conditions in a parking lot could lead to someone getting hurt. The response I received was repeatedly being told to "get out," with no attempt to acknowledge or address the concern. At that point, it became clear that member safety and basic professionalism were not being handled the way they should be. I am no longer a member. I hope the business takes steps to address the parking lot conditions and improves how it responds to legitimate concerns in the future.

A great place to walk at when you need to take a break from the real world and unwind. I wish there…read morewere more maps posted of the trails throughout the park because it's pretty easy to get lost in there. However, they do mark the trees for the main path, so you can just look for those. You can also open Google Maps to see the trails (but not necessarily directions on how to get back out). It's also a great place to walk dogs. You are likely to see other friendly dogs along your walk - some leashed, some unleashed (There are signs saying dogs must be leashed. Enforcement does patrol the area, but dog owners take the risk anyway.) There's one paved parking lot with lines and a dirt lot above the paved ones. I usually park up there because it's easier to get out of. But, this one is a free for all, so people park wherever they fit.

It rises at Bedford, NY in Westchester, NY. Altogether, the park in both is a bit more than 220 acres total The trail is accessible from parking lots in Greenwich and Stamford that allow access to the park, but check to see if PARKING PERMITS ARE REQUIRED. Dogs should be kept on lead and under control, not just because it's the right thing, but also because there is wildlife in the park, Eagles nest in the areas and Black Bears are known to nest there. There is a Mianus Web site as also from Stamford and Greenwich. IN the 90s, a fishway was built to allow migratory fish to enter the river as they had previously. It's just a beautiful place that I once shared with a neighbor occasionally as we walked our dogs in the park, a rare time witha great person in early sages of cancer until she had to give it up.

The best part about it is that you can choose what you'd like to do if you aren't interested in the dry rides at all you can pay for a one park ticket and stay at the waterpark the entire day. In addition to this if you won't be going to the waterpark and will only be watching your child in the dry park you can get in without a ticket. Which I believe is a phenomenal policy that a lot more parks should begin to implement. The food is good and so are the sweet treats that you can find around the park. The lake is also a nice spot to relax with shallow water which again is perfect for children/new swimmers. However, it is very small and can get crowded.

The area is…read moresurrounded by water on both sides and far off the other side of the odd looking park of Rye Playland which looks neglected and abandoned at this time. The sanctuary is less crowded and a more desirable destination. One can park their car in the Rye park parking lot all the way at the end ($10) during peak warm season and enjoy. *Fishing is forbidden, although we saw a few people fishing a few times.*
