Friendly, fast, blood draw and chest xray. I was in and out in 10 minutes. You can't beat that with a stick!

Always says she is on on time for church and her hair appointment. Not even work when she worked! ‍! So I'm clam bc she isn't ready. I said to self what nutcase gave her a 7:30am appointment and I laughed! I went and warmed up the car. Sat in it waiting. And waiting, and waiting, and waiting! She finally came out at 7am. I drove nicely to the appointment! No speed demon as usual! I said to self 2026 if she is late! Maybe she will learn her lesson. If they turned her away. Of course we get there at 7:16am. I said oh do you have to be here 15 min. Prior? Oh no she looks at car clock. I have to be here by 7:20 am. Ok! We are here I didn't go in neither is downtown Oakland Ca. They break window. In addition, I love their alliance with Stanford Health. Stanford has many locations with high tech equipment for all sorts of specialties. I have always received competent and helpful assistance when scheduling an appointment and have always been cheerfully met at the reception desk. Best if all is my Physician, Dr. John Carper. I have been with him for over 30 years. He is on-time, thorough, patient and a great listener. I am never rushed with him. In addition, I appreciate the detailed discussions about lab followups and his expert advice. My last visit, I was actually taken to the exam room 10 minutes early! With Alameda Family Physicians and Stanford, my health is closely tracked and well documented. I feel like everything is being done to monitor changes in health due to age and corrective actions are being made to keep my body in check. In my opinion, Alameda Family Physicians is stellar with preventative care!

She indignantly told me HOW DARE I EXPECT TO BEE SEEN and sent me away. HEY JERK! How about all those times I had to wait way beyond that for YOU?!! How about the time you told me my doctor had' retired' when, in fact, she left and started her own practice? You then gave me a new doctor who went out on Maternity leave and no one could see me? I have been coming here since my late doctor started this practice 20 years ago. Once they were affiliated with Stanford, they went downhill. I will look for a new doctor.

I thought it might be associated with a previous and ongoing shoulder injury. So was told by the good doctor it would probably take 2 or more weeks to get in. I got in in 4 days on Easter Sunday no less. Yes, MRI appointment on Easter. I took it. I noticed one of my images on the screen on my way out and upon looking at it real quick I noticed my left side is the side jacked up with potential pinched nerves. Not my right. A few days later a massive rash appeared on my arm and I was diagnosed with shingles that attacked the nerve. Not jacked up shoulder. Not a pinched nerve. But shingles. So appointment scheduling was great. Wait time once there was quick. MRI took as long as necessary. Staff was nice. There were no wheel chairs or other metallic stuff to join me in the MRI tube so that was nice. Waited about 10 minutes for a DVD of the results and out of there. Parking was close.

Implement web based scheduling, hire more people, or figure out a way to help existing staff move more quickly through the queue. I have scheduled here before. It is not that complicated. Driving over there is the only workable alternative. Seriously office manager - solve this or find someone who will! So I finally got the call back about 10 minutes after posting this. Very nice agent and the entire scheduling process took two or three minutes. She said the queue was 100 deep. Pretty strong argument for hiring more people.

Dr. Ruhle and Dr. Miller are not only outstanding surgeons, but they also genuinely care for their patients in a way that goes far beyond medicine. I consider them not just my doctors, but part of my extended family. After my major surgery on 04/25/25, them made me feel safe, heard, and cared for like family. They were both incredibly proactive throughout my recovery following an almost 8-hour procedure, and that meant everything to me. It truly made my day when Nick Wiseman checked in the very next day after surgery to see how I was doing. The three of them will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for your compassion, dedication, and the exceptional care you provide. One day I hope to make it to Emeryville to see you all again ~~~ and finally get a photo of us together. Forever grateful and thankful.

Stanford Health Care made my medical crisis infinitely worse…read more Here's what happened: · A nurse practitioner refused to give me a treatment plan. She insisted on waiting for a six months for an experimental exam, while I was actively declining after a year of untreated illness. · When I refused to wait and asked for qualified care, she retaliated. She dismissed my condition, told me to seek different employment, and demanded I return to work with no treatment or diagnosis. · She ordered repeated blood tests to "prove malnutrition"; even though I'd told her I couldn't eat for over two years. Nonsensical, wasteful, and cruel. · I complained. Stanford acknowledged it and promised an internal investigation, including reviewing the fees. Instead of resolving anything, they sent my bill to collections without notice, without decision, while I was still in distress and waiting for a status update. · My credit was damaged. I couldn't access funds for care. I eventually disengaged from Stanford out of fear and cumulative abuse. Result: Worsening organ damage, multiple ER visits, psychological trauma, loss of employment, permanent impairment. I've had to pay for costly alternative treatments out of pocket. If you have a complex or chronic condition, do not trust Stanford Health Care. They punish patients for advocating for themselves. Date of experience: December 2024 - April 2025

Thank goodness for Reveal Diagnostics. They have several different sites. Mica from the diagnostics team was super helpful in scheduling the exam and coordinating with my ENT. The owner was overseeing the scan because it was not a routine dental scan. A major issue was my titanium caps interfering with the imaging on regular CAT scan. This is where the technician Makayla was able to do what other major institutions which shall go unnamed came in. With the research grade scanner she was able to adjust conditions to virtually eliminate the interference and image the area of interest in a phenomenal way, so I really owe all of them a huge thanks. They corresponded with the medical center and got them the imaging to them very very quickly. The scan is rendered into 3 dimensions that the doctor can look at from all angles.
