I found me a new lady's health doctor. Dr. Gabriel is amazing!!
    Ter L.

This is my location for all my girly needs and I cannot thank Dr. Jerome Gabriel & the friendly staff enough always providing THE BEST service!!! My appointments always start off with a friendly smile as I check in with Anthony [tall, Filipino gentleman]. He is always prompt, friendly, and has absolutely amazing taste in music. Emy is normally the next person I encounter and I appreciate her warmth, patience, and welcoming attitude. Emy always takes the time to walk me through whatever our visit will entail and she goes out of her way to schedule my visits in advance due to my conflicting work schedule. Dr. Gabriel eventually makes his way in and I find myself in & out pretty quickly. Never a single complaint since I switched over to having him as my physician and I appreciate his kindness, calmness, and his excellent communication skills for any|all patients. Hands down, 5/5 stars for this department.

Receptionist at Optical Center - hella rude!! Why? No clue what makes people think they can talk to others in such a rude manner!!
    Kim T.

This place is so dead, and the people who work at the Optical Center are flat out rude!! The receptionist to the staff who help clients pick out their glasses!! It's funny b/c their department is the only place with the most visitors and the most in & outs! For a place so dead , you would think they'd value clients!! We are here to purchase eye glasses from them, they are making money off of us... have some respects for your clients.. I hear the visitors talking and it seems like the receptionist is new here.. Gotta have proper training to be good in any role. Especially if you are the face of the department/company.. the first face clients will see and deal with... please learn to have some manners & respect!!

Second visit to Kaiser for OBGYN appointment. After the first visit the other day, I had high hopes to have another good experience. The lady at the registration who checked me in was nice. Since it's my first OBGYN visit, it's free of charge! Didn't expect that. I waited for about 20 minutes after passing my appointment time, the MA finally came to take me to the exam room. The visit with doctor was okay. She chatted a lot, made me feel not so nervous. However, when she was examining my breast, she was quick. Perhaps she's really good at it, but it was too quick to make me feel that she's perfunctory. And, when she was performing a pap smear on me, she was still talking without mask on. I would feel more comfortable if she had a mask on.

    Kaiser inhumane treatment
    Kevin H.

Had to go through 6 people transferring me to get an appointment and then when it's time for my appointment they cancel me. I had just left the emergency room the other day and these inhumane people deny me medical aid for my follow up. I will never have Kaiser again. I hope Karma serves you the same dish. Look at this picture I attached. Very unprofessional and they don't give me a chance to call them back. They called my phone and when I answered they hanged up.

Waiting lounge. Lotsa magazines. No annoying TV being played.

Scheduling is always a breeze and although I might have to do a little shifting in my schedule to accomodate a time that works on both ends, Dr. Nayak stays busy for good reason. Dr. Nayak is always very detailed in explaining things in a way that ensures my understanding. She is always there to give gentle reminders of what I should|need to do without being pushy. I never feel rushed and she always makes me feel heard whenever I have questions or concerns. Side Note: Nurse Joy, you are an absolute delight!!! What a great way to start off my morning visit to have my routine check up done! Not only is she soft spoken-ly kind, she is also very thorough and patient. Anyone would be so lucky to have Nurse Joy assist in their care. 5 stars for my primary physician and 5 stars as a whole for this recent visit with all of the staff I made contact with.

Dr. J Nguyen is friendly, but when it comes to standard of care, she needs improvement. I have had multiple physicals by various physicians (PCPs or from my past work's in-house Physician, or change of providers). With my new insurance, I was assigned Dr. Nguyen. During my physical, she barely assessed me. She placed the stethoscope ontop of my clothing (the MAs did not offer a gown), she did not wash her hands on front of me (or even use the hand sanitizer) she did not properly exam me. I was not asked any of the traditional or standard questions I've been asked by other Physicians. Given that I'm a new patient, I would expect a more through health history assessment or more questions to be asked- they are lacking OR they simply don't care. There is an abundance of plants in the lobby area, some are dying- not well taken care of. The magazines in the waiting area are old and outdated. The fish tank in the lobby area needs to be cleaned. First impression yells out "sloppy and unattended". There are stacks of PAPER chart in the back as they have not gone electronic. By 2018, I believe there is a law to be electronic for medical records, at least that is what is expected in a SNF, acute, and assisted living. Maybe clinics are an exception? Either way, they are clearly behind in their charting and the clinic is in dire need of TLC. The chairs are torn, the floor needs sweeping and so much more. As for the exam room- it feels like a dirty closet. The area to draw your blood is dark, cold, and cluttered. I wish I was assigned another provider so I will be looking to change providers to someone who actually takes the time to get a better health background. Also, the doctor went on vacation so the one in her replacement would not take new patients. Therefore, you would not only have to wait until she returns, but she would be completely booked when she did return. Overall, I've had multiple providers, as my insurance changes, therefore so does my provider. This place would be at last place.

I think there are pros and cons to everywhere so here's what I've found... PROS: Dr. Nguyen will listen, ask questions and gather information to make the best diagnosis (huge pro) and she seems to really care. She also doesn't get upset if you ask a million questions. Some doctors seem to resent questions but she just goes on to explain more. She also will promptly answer questions I've phoned over to ask. Blood draw/Urine Samples can be done on-site instead of having to go to another lab. They have an EKG machine onsite so you don't have to go to another facility. They are very reasonable if you're late. My husband doesn't ever want to go, so we're always late and they've never turned us away Most of the staff is pretty experienced and they all have a good attitude. I have experienced other places where the staff's attitude makes everything more difficult. Also, they can't always answer every question but they don't try to bluff you and they will follow up with the Dr. to get an answer. I've also seen her staff help find a pediatrician for a couple who'd stopped by with a sick baby. CONS: No onsite Xray services (there are some nearby but it's a hassle to go from place to place) You used to have to wait a few days for strep test results but now she has the ones you know the answer in the office. So I guess this is an old con... Sometimes there's a long wait but I've seen Dr. Nguyen see patients not scheduled because the person was displaying some disturbing symptoms while waiting for their parent/sibling in the waiting room but then again, if it were my parent/sibling looking really sick or limping, I would want a Dr. to be concerned if they saw it. Re: other reviews.... Someone mentioned that they didn't have their insurance card and had a problem. The first time I went in, I brought my info on a post it because I had just started a new job and had fallen off a horse and I didn't have any problems, the staff got on it and there wasn't a delay. Also, at Dr. Nguyen's I got no resistance about my phlebotomy/blood draw requests and everything went super smooth on the first try, unlike other places where they wouldn't listen and I ended up with multiple pokes, bruises and wasted vials. I've received results by phone (by the dr. herself and also her assistants) so maybe you have to ask if you can get your test results by phone? My husband needed a follow up for his results but that was probably because he needed follow up care and a re-test of his blood pressure. All in all- I have been to places where I was seen a little more promptly but I really think that Dr. Nguyen's personality makes up for any inconvenience. I think I could bring anyone to her, even if they're normally afraid of doctors. She and at least one of the medical assistants are also fluent in Vietnamese, if you need that.

Let me tell you that my 4:30 sessions are the funniest and wackiest bunch of people who have the ability to knead on to your muscles and tell you what would help your recovery while keeping everything light and engaging. We would talk about the best facial cleanser and moisturizer for sensitive skin while doing hand exercises...She never seemed to look tired even if it had been a long day so you wouldn't feel awkward to come on your session. TIP: you can be late for your doctor's appointment but never be late on your PT session...they are on the clock and once you're late, you would be re-scheduled...yep re-scheduled. The emergency department was overcrowded, and after waiting more than three hours, we still had not been called back to be seen. To make matters worse, while waiting, a homeless man exposed his genitals in view of patients and families. This was disturbing and completely inappropriate, especially for children and vulnerable patients who were present. I understand hospitals are busy and that patients are seen based on medical urgency, but safety, security, and communication should remain a priority. The hospital needs to do a better job addressing overcrowding, keeping waiting areas safe, and providing updates to patients who are waiting for care. I hope the hospital takes steps to improve both patient safety and the overall experience for families seeking medical attention.

After being discharged from the hospital, we couldn't reach our original pediatrician, but we're so glad we found Dr. Truong! His location is bit far from our home but he is worth the drive. He is also a very funny doctor, always making us feel so welcome and at home. He doesn't hold back and will address any concerns without hesitation. As first-time parents, everything is new to us, and we were definitely anxious about doing anything wrong for our son. Dr. Truong answers all of our questions in a way that's easy to understand, and he genuinely cares about what's best for our family. He emphasizes natural approaches and explains the potential dangers of things that could affect our child. What we love most about him is his responsiveness--he always answers his phone, no matter the time. That level of dedication has kept us with him. I was so mad. How can you make that mistake? I ended up talking to Dr. Troung and he told me he would request for my daughter to do another blood work with the correct lab test. I don't know if it was the doctor's mistake or the front desk but my daughter is only 4 and having her redo blood work again in the same month was the worst. On top of that my insurance bills me the second time for almost 2k. The front desk said my insurance would cover it. The front desk girl would never call me to update me on anything. I'd have to call multiples times just for her to have the answer already but never gave me a heads up. This place was very unprofessional. I even tried making an appointment for my son because he had things all over his face and the front desk girl said she'd have Dr. take a look if I sent a photo and would call me back afterwards. Never called me back, few days later once my son's symptoms cleared, I get an email saying they sent over medication to my pharmacy. Like what kind of business is this.
