5 stars for lab assistant, Joy A. @ the KP laboratory department!!…read more I had the pleasure of having Joy draw blood from me TWICE within a one week span and each time she was informative, gentle, kind, and such a joy to chat briefly with. Throughout the entire process, she made sure to take a few moments to make sure I was okay while she worked steadily and quickly. 5/5 stars for Ms. Joy A. but I wouldn't hesitate to give her more if that was possible. She is truly a delightful & calming presence- Kaiser is so lucky to have you as an employee.

Your automated acknowledgment on February 2, 2026, promised prioritization and forwarding to a case manager for review, investigation, and resolution yet over six weeks later, I have received ZERO updates, no case manager contact, and no resolution. Your inaction is unacceptable, unprofessional, and a blatant violation of Kaiser Permanente's obligations under California law to provide timely grievance responses (within 30 days standard, 72 hours for urgent) and accountable service. This delay demonstrates a lack of meaningful resolution and accountability, exactly as I warned in my original complaint your employee(s) involved deserve immediate investigation and disciplinary action.

Made an appointment on-line, showed up, parked and went in. Only got easier from here. The gent at the entrance asked me if I had an appointment, checked my temperature and directed me to the third floor. From my experience I'd say the staff are seasoned battle hardened COVID-19 veterans. The entire visit was seamless; they got the process down! In and out without a fuss, in no time at all. The nurse took my vax card, checked the information, informed me about the process; what vaccine I was getting and even showed me the dose before administering it. All the staff were polite and thorough. Just an easy and smooth transition. Cheers!

The person who was supposed to draw my blood kept missing my veins. After getting pricked a couple times and have her move the needle around my arm, and no blood was drawn, I had to stop. I was in pain and felt noxious from the thought of the needle moving around in my arm. It was very apparent she needed more training and was her Guinea pig. So, I decided to stop and not get my blood drawn there. After reading other reviews, I see a pattern. Will not come back here again and go somewhere else. I have never had issues getting my blood drawn in the past elsewhere.

But my review is more of the lovely people over at the physical therapy section. I enjoy my therapists...this I say in plural form because since my first therapy session this year (yet again!) I have been dealt by 3 PTs'. My main PT tho is Ms. Pena who is never a bore. Let me tell you that my 4:30 sessions are the funniest and wackiest bunch of people who have the ability to knead on to your muscles and tell you what would help your recovery while keeping everything light and engaging. We would talk about the best facial cleanser and moisturizer for sensitive skin while doing hand exercises...She never seemed to look tired even if it had been a long day so you wouldn't feel awkward to come on your session. TIP: you can be late for your doctor's appointment but never be late on your PT session...they are on the clock and once you're late, you would be re-scheduled...yep re-scheduled. So if you live afar that would suck big time. And this concludes my 199th review.

As he was bed bound, the nurses cleaned him up whenever we called for them and helped change his dressing for some bed sores that had developed (loved that they put the time changed directly onto the bandage themselves. The food was pretty bland though and only slightly changed every meal (there was usually steamed carrots, mashed potatoes, and a different protein every 2 days). Overall, we didn't have a bad experience. FYI: the main entrance says visiting hours are from 9am-8pm but we were able to get in 2 hours earlier and the doors are still unlocked at 9pm. After that, you would have to enter through the ER.

Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket costs were overwhelming because of my high deductible. The medical care itself was fine, but the billing process needs major improvement. Patients deserve clearer explanations about what they'll be charged and why they're receiving multiple bills. I hope they make the process more transparent so others don't have the same experience. Thank god for financial assistance! If you guys are hit with multiple medical bills there is help. You just need proof of income, paystubs, and keep your receipts, copayments, medications that you pay from pharmacy. Keep everything that you visited for your doctor to specialist visit. This will save your money spending. I had over 3,000 dollars of medical bills. I have 0 debts because of my low income. I don't get why we as the people get injured, shot, or whatever things that happen in life. It's like our lives depends on it. This medical system is so completely corrupt. If the medical bills people or whoever in charge is reading this, I don't know how you guys sleep at night while other people like us are struggling to make living to survive. I f##king hate the medical system.

Once we completed the blood work I later found out when trying to see her result that we did blood work that had nothing to do with her alopecia and it was for kids who are starting school. I was so mad. How can you make that mistake? I ended up talking to Dr. Troung and he told me he would request for my daughter to do another blood work with the correct lab test. I don't know if it was the doctor's mistake or the front desk but my daughter is only 4 and having her redo blood work again in the same month was the worst. On top of that my insurance bills me the second time for almost 2k. The front desk said my insurance would cover it. The front desk girl would never call me to update me on anything. I'd have to call multiples times just for her to have the answer already but never gave me a heads up. This place was very unprofessional. I even tried making an appointment for my son because he had things all over his face and the front desk girl said she'd have Dr. take a look if I sent a photo and would call me back afterwards. Never called me back, few days later once my son's symptoms cleared, I get an email saying they sent over medication to my pharmacy. Like what kind of business is this. I'm currently going to another pediatrician. If you guys want a place that is on top of everything do not come here. It was so stressful and such a mess with the front desk.
