ATTENTION: If you ever receive a Vaccine Injury from Kaiser, make an appointment immediately, then within 50 days reach out to a Federal Attorney that specializes in SIRVA injuries. Kaiser will do everything like in my case to delay the situation until it is too late. They also didn't document my initial complaint and office visit when my stiches were removed. Because of this, I am not eligible for a federal vaccine program that they should have recommended to me instead of putting me off and not fulfilling the record of my initial complaint. They also promised to pay for an X-Ray and office visit which I am now being billed for. This is borderline malpractice. The worst care I have ever received. I came in to have my toes stitched up after an injury. They said I needed a hand surgeon to repair my injury and sent me off to the Emergency Room. Unfortunately, before I left, they gave me a Tetanus shot. It seemed like it was the first time the person had ever administered a vaccine because the other 2 caregivers in the room cheered weirdly. The shot was injected too high on the arm causing a SERVA injury (Shoulder Injury Related to Vaccine Administration). Even though my toes have healed and I didn't need a "hand surgeon," 7 months later I still have the shoulder injury. Kaiser Permanente doesn't seem to care. I have basically been ignored. My first complaint was taken from someone I could barely understand in Manila, Philippines. Kaiser promised to investigate and get back in contact with me in 30 days. This did not happen. I have made 3 calls to Jennifer the facility manager and she has not returned my calls. I contacted the Department of Health only to find out you can't make a complaint to them because for some reason they don't have jurisdiction over this facility. My paper work from the incident doesn't show which physician or physician assistant was present nor which staff member administered the injection which injured me. Was hoping to have this addressed quickly so that others aren't injured or have a similar problem. If you need care, I would steer clear from this location because from my experience they don't seem very well trained, professional or caring. read more

They have genuinely never helped me with anything. The only way I've ever been helped was if I tell them what I have and then they will check for it and confirm. Other than that they will always tell you you're fine and are very rude when you ask questions of any sort. They do not want to hear your questions and will always rush through your time with them. My biggest problem was I asked them to do a POTS test on me(postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome), and they did and confirmed I probably had it. So I called and asked for a note to give to my work because I tend to faint a lot or need to sit down briefly to avoid fainting, and wanted to let them be aware of my confirmed issue. They were very rude and told me they would put in a request from the doctor, but never did. I didn't even bother to call again because they are always rude over the phone. read more

Where do I start? Was not seen at the time of my appointment. No appointment showing on KP end, but in my chart and screen shot at the time of appointment showed just fine. Some staff appears to make it more difficult for patient's whom they personally dislike. As a result, expect there to be highly unprofessional and prejudicial staff. read more

I haven't checked in with my Doctor in the past 2 years. I made an appointment last month and got in about 6 weeks later. Today I showed up for that appointment. I checked in at the kiosk in the lobby. After inputting my pickup information I was instructed to pay $78.00 in advance. This is new and unacceptable. I cancelled and walked out. read more

called to make an appointment with my sports medicine MD Dr. Vong and the call center representative was very rude! stated I would need a referral to see her and I told her I'm an on going patient and just had a telephone appointment with Dr. Vong on 4/29 & I told her about my fall on 4/26. she offered to see me and I suggested waiting a few days to see if I got better! The call representative offered me an appointment June 19 th & I told her I couldn't wait that long because the pain was unbearable. so she rudely said she'd cancel the appointment and cut me off talking when I asked her to send a message to Dr. Vong to see if she could work me into her schedule. All she said was have a nice day so I'm not sure if she sent the message. Overall, rather pleased with the quality of care provided by Kaiser. Today I had lab work and needed to pick up a prescription that I ordered online via the app this morning. Usually i have the prescription delivered to my home, however I was given the choice of picking up here. I thought let's kill two birds with one stone; how convenient. However they do not refill my prescription at this location after all. I suppose digital care is only as good as the author and interface designer. First world problems, fortunately with my script...not medically life threatening. read more

It's directed to Kaiser as a medical group who, discriminates against seniors who have Medicare and Tricare, I just moved here and they won't take any more seniors with Medicare and Tricare, however if I buy one of their plans then they will accept us as a patient! Gonna give this 4 stars. It's a beautiful facility and everyone I worked with her was very friendly. Even in urgent care the staff was helpful and care was fast and efficient. Did have a few bumps in the roads when I hand to call set up a referral. In person was a great experience over the phone not so much. My daughter is 26 and I had to take her in to same day appointment. Never used her insurance before. Fine paid co pay. The person she saw was dismissive. Daughter was in so much pain, sore throat ear ache, throwing up blood and fever. When finished that gave her magic mouthwash. Lidocaine and children's benadryl. Which she had to pay for fine. She just kept getting worse and for my daughter to cry in pain is not like her. I told her we had to go back. She refused because of they way they treated her. So we ended up going to Providence walk in. Upper respiratory and ear infection. Doctor couldn't believe they didn't see how bad the ear infection was. Hopefully medication she was given will help. With the extra time of getting proper care she's had to miss work. Yes doctors note was given but that's the only thing saving her job. Only good thing facility is clean and nice. read more

I don't know what's going on with kaiser but the doctor I had for 20 yrs just up and quit and no one sent me a letter telling me. The new doctor I was given was really rude to me so I got a different doctor. I'm a elderly woman with 3 autoimmune diseases and can only walk short distances but this doctor refused to help me get a walker, saying he doesn't feel comfortable with it. I can't get to my appointments because he isn't faxing the info special mobility needs so they can take me there. The Caregivers I'm getting don't want to transport so I'm stuck. Gonna get away from kaiser as soon as I can and hope things get better. I know that before Kaiser, things were alot better. read more

Huge Kaiser in Spokane area, we had to get some meds on the way to Montana and stopped here. They do require the mask to enter and no exceptions allowed- no mask no enter, Rifght now, the wait time when we went seemed longer then it should, in Puyallup location was able to get in and out with no waiting- in Spokane there was a bunch of people in front of us. read more

Group Health Riverfront is a nice one stop shopping center for health care. They have nice employees, very good Dr's and nurses, eye center, physical therapy, mental services, lab, and a pharmacy. Never had an issue here. read more

This place seems to hit most the right notes. I don't make frequenting the hospital a thing so it's hard to rate, that and this is my first solo time paying my own health insurance. I believe group health is a "member only" thing. Under the Salvation Army I don't pay much for insurance for one. If I added my wife cost for insurance would multiply x10! Anyways I've gotten prescription refills had one AFib episode; they don't have the equipment (maybe staff) to do what needed to be done to make me better, which was reset my heart. So grouphealth called an ambulance for me to providence. I think this place is what you call point of service. There are only so many hospitals I can go to that accept my health insurance. Thanks to Obama more and more of these exist... Anyways. This particular location is legit. I have a doctor here whom I've meet with twice, seems very knowledgeable. All in all if you live in the PNC and grouphealth is a health insurance option for you. They are not a bad choice. read more

Talk to 10 different people and get 10 different answers. Can not get the care needed. The primary care doctor is always dressed like a teenager that is ready for Applebee's on a Friday night and does not do her job, I'd be embarrassed if I was their parent. They are neglectful with our needs. They talk fluff and ARE fluff. They also have a unique way of tricking you into doing things you do not want to do and also lie. When we leave it's like being stunned by shyster lawyers in a courtroom. They need to realize that WE pay THEM for a service, they need to provide the healthcare services we pay for. They work for us, it is not the other way around. Kaiser Riverfront are playing games with people's lives. I don't believe for one minute any of the stellar Google reviews, but Google reviews are often paid reviews. I could go on all day about these people. I am convinced most of the doctors that work for Kaiser couldn't get a job with a better clinic/hospital. Just because they can pass some medical tests doesn't mean they are a good doctor, or nurse. There are only a couple of employees that are good there and you will find them in the podiatry department. I could go on all day about our bad experiences but you probably wouldn't believe them. read more

KP used to be amazing and was our family's choice for healthcare. However, since COVID, KP's ability to provide continuity of care is poor at best. They continue to cycle through providers without keeping quality team members. Healthcare team struggles to provide quality service while treating patients like cows with patient ID numbers. I am not going to put a blanket on this whole business but the care I received here is extremely poor. They use their care portal asa selling point for this business. I was shuffled around, voiced my concerns & told verbal care that didn't match the online portal. I emailed my doctor several times & ignored. I have chronic illness & if you need a doctor with great bed side manner go somewhere else. Dr.Lindsey Urso really has no understanding of patience relationship. Calling several times, nurses saying they left post it's on her desk for response & then turn it around for in room lecture. I saw her twice & her communication skills are very poor. I have filed 3 concerns about the doctor & she was the worst I have ever dealt with. Front desk was wonderful but doesn't make up for care. I am still waiting for phone call back from them which was promised today. I went to ER after my appointment, ironic, and turns out I have an infection that could have been addressed today but instead spent my day explaining why I was not using my primary doctor and receiving care from ER. read more

It's always a little unsettling when your medical plan changes. I have experienced nothing but amazingly timely professional care at Kaiser Permanente! My needs have been met repeatedly, I feel as if I'm a priority and am kept involved in my care. I have strong opinions and believe I'm heard as well and it's truly a partnership in my health care delivery. I'm kept up to date on all my needs, visits are quick when needed and I can look up all my results and email my PCP and get prompt responses. I love the online availability to make office or phone appointments. I strongly recommend Kaiser Permanente Riveverfront Medical Center if you're looking for quality medical care. read more
