I have always gotten decent care in the ER. It is not great, but Multicare is not known for its quality. I was inpatient a while back and it was a madhouse. My roommate was nuts and talked all night and yelled at staff. They handled it very politely and professionally. Even better, they gave me a private room when one was available at no extra charge since my insurance wouldn't pay for it so I could get some rest. This is the only reason they get 3 stars. Well, I could have gotten lots of sleep if not for the murse with the high-pitched voice constantly waking me up, once he was gone I slept well. A big negative is pain management. The IV obviously poked a hole clear through the vein. When they injected pain meds, my elbow burned for 10 minutes. They didn't seem to believe the cause and would only dilute it, which made it burn less with zero pain relief. How hard would it have been to adjust the IV? read more

This occurred over a year ago, but I still suffer from was a misdiagnosed stroke. After visiting an urgent care facility, I was told urgently to go to the ER. After waiting for the expected 2+ hours, they took a blood sample. Wait again. Eventually I was called to a room. I told him that I have MS and that it may be an exacerbation, but that I had never had one this bad. I couldn't member names, I had been seriously unbalanced to an extreme that I had ever had been. My vision was loopy, could not think of any basic needed words to carry on a conversation, and when going through the contacts on my phone, I couldn't recognize any. I may not have said every one of these. He finally told me that I was probably right and that I could go home. When leaving, my friend begged me to let her drive. I must have frightened her en route to the ER. Later, when speaking to a nurse at UW, she told me that it sounded like a stroke and was amazed that the hadn't ordered a CAT scan. 2 Dr,'s later agreed. I still have residual issues with spelling, remembering close friends or family, or basic math skills and basic memory. read more

So I brought my mom to the hospital,(she is 84 years old) she was having a hard time breathing and had a cough and congested. While waiting in the lobbyshe needed to lay down so she could breathe easier, I asked the girl at the desk if they could let her lay down and she says they have nowhere unless she wanted to lay down on a row of chairs in the lobby they came and took her to triage and did a CT scan, then brought her back out to the lobby she asked the girl from triage (who was sleeping and obviously passed about being woke up) to take her to the row of chairs to lay back down when she pushed my moms wheel chair over she said very snotty you have oxygen on so watch what you are doing no helping her to lay down and walked away WTF SOrry if we bothered you people I thought this was your job for some odd reason we didn't get any care we left read more

Had my gallbladder removed today and everyone was extremely nice. They took care of me very good, comforted me and were very compassionate every single person I had contact with. This was my first surgery and I was very scared but everyone put me at ease as best as they could. I wouldn't change a single thing about my experience they were very timely and patient with me. read more

The care I got when I gave birth was amazing. However, they cannot figure out how to bill insurance correctly. I have called both my insurance and Multicare multiple times and with issues regarding several claims not being sent to insurance correctly and Multicare's team seems uninterested in solving the problem and I continually get notices that my bill will be sent to collections. My husband pays top dollar for good health insurance and it all should be covered. When I call insurance, the say their is an issue with the way the claim was submitted and Multicare can't seem to figure out what that problem is. Because of this horrendous billing experience I a cannot recommend them. No woman who is newly postpartum should have to deal with this. read more

Took forever, terrible service, no sense of urgency. Waited 3+ hours in pain the entire time even after notifying how bad it was.

Literally the worst wait time I've ever experienced. No urgency to get to anyone at all. 4 hours is ridiculous to be told that you are fine.

I am very upset, I called at 8am this morning and spoke to a lady first and I asked to speak to a Manager, she put my call on hold and never let me know she was getting a manager on the phone. Some guy got on the phone and I had to ask who he was, he said Jason. I asked are you the manager , he said yes. He never represented himself. I recorded our conversation and I also informed him. This is the number I called 253.459.7956 and I tried to explain to him that my daughter has great insurance that covers 100%. I got a bill saying that I owe 2,356.35. He claimed to be the Manager and never represented himself. He was very rude and sarcastic the whole time I was addressing my concern. Her dad is the subscriber and he didn't care at all my concerns. My daughter has full coverage and he was no help. I asked to speak to someone higher then him and he told me no! He said I can't speak to someone higher than him. I am very upset. This only applies to the emergency room nursing staff at Multicare, Spokane Valley. A nurse and a male worker (escort) were exceptionally rude and the male worker threatened to throw me out of the hospital. Through all of this, I had always maintained a professional demeanor while the others had not. More: I was there visiting my brother. He was very sick and is now in ICU. At the time, however, he was still in a private emergency room. The nurse had been especially rude and then would not let me in to see my sick brother. She said "I DON'T RECOGNIZE HIS NAME AND I DON'T KNOW YOU." It was easy to check for my brother's name, if she would only try. I had used that entry point several times and had no problems with the other nurses (they knew how to verify the identity of patients in their care). So, I used a different way to enter. It took a while but a staffer let me in. He was very nice. He did an excellent job. read more

I spent three months in this hospital and had time to observe nurses and doctors, and I garnered so much respect for how I was treated. Without getting too personal, in 2012 I had an awful experience somewhere else in Spokane during a painful biopsy procedure. Fast forward to today, same procedure at Valley Hospital, and had zero pain!!! Dr. Smith performed the procedure; Kylynn, his assistant was awesome and the pathology department was stellar. I was 'scared' because of my prior experience and today was nothing like before. Thank you Valley Hospital. The front staff welcomed me; my appointment was on time; the facility was clean and peaceable. Take better care of your patients before you guys get people killed, also don't think it's very sanitary to have a patient keep an iv in their arm while they are in the waiting room, never in my life have I went to a doctor and they made me keep an iv in my arm in the waiting room, only thing nice about this place is like three of the doctors there, joe on the other hand is very rude and should keep his ego locked away at his workplace. I came to valley hospital by ambulance from another hospital and was admitted shortly after midnight for an appendectomy that was to take place the following day. I did not know what time the surgery was going to happen making it impossible for me to have a ride already in place after the procedure. I was prepped for surgery at 730 am and did not have an opportunity to make any calls so the doctor called my fiance who was at work and informed him everything went well and my fiance let him know he would be down to pick me up on his lunch break which was between 1230 and 130. From the moment I opened my eyes in the recovery room The post anesthesia nurse named Denise treated me like she did not want me taking up space in the recovery room . Even though my ride was already in place via the doctor who made the call Denise proceeded to call my other emergency contact on my chart and ended up getting my son's number from my daughter and proceeded to call him like 4 or 5 times indicating the time window when my fiance was planning to come was not soon enough. She had my personal belongings brought down from the room I was was admitted in upstairs and said I would be getting discharged from the recovery area instead. . The Entire time I was In the recovery area I was not given any privacy even though my gown was not tied and partially falling off I was crammed in a room that was too small for the bed preventing the door from even closing At one point I asked her to draw the curtain but the next time she came In she opened It back up and never closed It again . So trust me I was not trying to kick back and chill at the hospital and absorb all of the amenities... I was just as anxious to get go home as I felt like she was to get me out of there just because I felt so disrespected.then My son called me on my cell saying he was nervous about making the drive all the way to the valley with no license and the car had no gas . I told my son NO!!. Do not come! And that I already had my fiance coming at 12 30. Shortly after Denise came back In and And asked me again where was my son was and why when she called him back AGAIN did he tell her that I told him NOT to come and me leaving could not wait until my fiance got off work! . I informed Denise AGAIN that it was because my fiance was LEAVING WORK TO COME not waiting UNTIL he got off work She said my son was supposed to already be on his way 20 minutes ago . I told her I didn't feel like it was right for her to be pressuring him to come . My son is only 17 and isn't even legally allowed to drive. she then told me that I couldn't be discharged to him anyway because he's not an adult.I Offered to call an Uber and go sit in the lobby .she said no because by law I needed to be discharged to an adult who was willing to take responsibility for me because I just had anestesia or they could get sued. And then she started humming some little song and asked me what my pain was . I told her An 8 she brought me a pack of crackers and some pain meds.she said I needed to take them because my pain needed to be lowered before my ride arrived I asked if while I waited for my ride If I could have something more to eat than crackers. She said they don't provide lunch trays down there and was really rude about it. I asked if they had a vending machine or a cafeteria where I could purchase some food because I had money in my purse I was more than happy to pay for my own food. She said no. I was struggling trying to swallow the Dry crackers because my throat was sore from the breathing tube . After that she produced a sandwich and a pudding cup.. She asked me if I needed to use the restroom and was helping me to get off of the bed while the back of my gown came totally open it was humiliating I asked her if we could close the curtain for privacy I grabbed my sweatshirt from my bag at the foot of the bed And Denise suggested I just get dressed while I was In there I got dressed and when I came out of the restroom I went to the nurses station and asked if there was a survey anywhere where I could provide feedback on my visit I was very upset . At this time I noticed Denise non-chelantly cover her name tag with her hand as if she was itching her shoulder for like 30 seconds until I made it obvious I was going to stand there until she moved her hand so I could see her name which she eventually did . She then came back In my room and Informed me she contacted her manager to come talk to me and told her I was " frustrated". I was in tears when the manager arrived.denise Followed behind her and I then asked if I could speak to her privately and told her about my experience all of this happened within the first HOUR of me waking up from the surgery. The post op anestesia manager highly suggested I fill out this survey to share my feedback on the visit. Everything else was really good. The nurses upstairs, the doctor, the surgery. The transport. I have been here since 1 pm with a kidney infection and bilateral flank pain. My PCP couldn't get a CT done stat so he sent me to the ER said it would be faster. At 3:34 inland imaging worked me in at 4.15 walked over got my CT scan and the ER had no idea I left. They don't communicate and you have to bug them to get an update. What a joke! I literally tell them what's wrong with me. (As I have had pneumonia before) know the symptoms completely. As the "doctor" is seeing me. Im describing what ive gone through in the past. She says to me "Men are just big babies when it comes to pnuemonia"... I clarified with her that I literally almost died from it. That I was on the ground gasping for air, couldn't speak, etc (pre covid...). She then says "well did they have to perform an operation? I said no it was bacterial and they did xrays and concluded i needed a higher dose of antibiotic (penicillin) at this point I can tell I got the real "caring" one... my thoughts are a "joke"... my son literally was in tears watching me gasp for air tonight... I'd love for you to say that it's just a joke to him... anyways, a swab tester comes in (standacrd protocol for covo) and an xray personel, this gets done, (as someone who has studied biology, I know how fast the culture results CAN come back)... my wife and I sit for over an hour in the room... at which finally the doctor enters the room mentioning she leaves soon (shift ends.) , I asked her if she always treats patients like shit? Why do you think what I'm going through is a joke? Is it just men that you treat this way? Then after realizing all she cares about is leaving I tell her to go ahead and leave. Literally she doesn't get the point and I have to state again - can you just go get off work? She's like well don't you want to do the treatment plan? I'm like "you have yet to tell me if I have anything..." (keep in mind I've had covo 3 times prior and that literally made me bed ridden etc.) I know for a fact it's pneumonia, mucus, hard to breath feels like I have a lack of oxygen. Etc. She says "well I don't know if you have anything..." "the tests aren't finished.." I then ask "so why would you be trying to TREAT anything if you don't know?" By this point I feel like I've literally run into the most unprofessional person ive met in a long time. I tell her "I'm done, I'm leaving". She states she'll have the exit person be with me. Exit person shows up, asks me the same damn questions I've already answered with entrance personel. Then the swab person shows up, (10 minutes past when I spoke with the "doctor"... "well good news you don't have a virus!". I say okay... she says the xray came back normal. Issue is non virus related and I recieve an exit packet with 2 prescriptions. As she tries handing me prescriptions. I say why do I need this if there is supposedly nothing wrong? At this point I'm so freaking confused... if nothing is wrong why are we writing a prescription for treatment of nothing?!?! Then the doctor who (definitly doesn't like me by now) magically shows up. I say am I free to go yet.or do I need to sit here any longer while you figure out how making jokes about what is bothering me would piss me off... "no you can go". Sweet... now my wife who obviously knows.something is wrong with me, and is concerned sits there talking to these people... I tell her I'm done, ill be at the car and I made a b line straight to the exit So keep in mind... exit paperwork states no issue. Temp 98.6 Prescribed 2 items... both for a "cough". They then turn around and make another exit paperwork and hand it to my wife claiming I have covo (im outside next to car) . I've had this stupid shit 3 times now. This is nothing like it. However nothing on the paperwork is changed... still the same prescriptions... Yall are some shady Mfrs. I might add the "swab specialist" walked in with an open already container for the swabs... I literally told her to go get a new one and open it in front of me as she is putting on only one glove... Seriously... this is what we get? read more

Honesty one of the worst ER places I have visited. Place is dirty and not well maintained. Blood spattered all over the walls. Blinds are dirty and broke. Floor has cracks. There was some particulate dust everywhere in the lobby. They clearly don't practice social distancing either and everybody is sardines inside this tiny place. I'm just shocked at the filth. I had to do a urine sample and honestly shocked I didn't contract C.diff from the disgusting bathrooms. There was dried fecal matter on the front and sides of the toilet. I went in because urgent care sent me to check for DVT since I'm 35 weeks pregnant. The triage nurse was not very understanding and basically said my concerns were nothing to worry about and I likely do not have a DVT. He asked me twice if I was pregnant and looked at my belly as if I was lying to him. He also mentioned that you can cough up a DVT.... I am pretty sure he was referencing a PE but that wasn't what I was there for and really question the quality of the employees at this establishment. After being admitted somebody came to check for fetal heart tones. I wish they gave me the doppler and had me do it because this girl was awful and had no idea what she was doing or where to place it to find the fetal heartbeat. She also didn't realize to hand me a paper towel to clean the gel off either. I laid there waiting for a towel thinking it's common sense to clean up before proceeding to the next test. The only person who had a clue what is happening in was the ultrasound lady. She was nice, quick, and efficient. She finished my scan and sent me back to my room. She was amazing. Too bad she works only 2 days a week since I'm concerned about the efficiency of this place or if it would be worse without her there. I waited for results and they took hours. They decided to randomly do a UA for no reason. They confirmed I was pregnant....even though I told them I was 35 weeks along. I'm not sure why this would of warranted a test but maybe they needed to do extra billing to pay the janitor to clean the blood spattered walls...idk. When I had to do my UA the girl didn't even give me any towelettes to cleanse and ensure a non contaminated sample is collected but I was so eager to leave the possible C.diff infested bathroom that I just peed on the cup and called it good. They found trace leukocytes (I have no symptoms) however the PA wrote a script for macrobid and said that I have a UTI and that I should treat it with this medication. Shortly afterwards another person came in and asked if they can check for fetal heart tones..... the lack of communication among these providers is beyond me. I had to explain to her it was already completed and she looked surprised and confused. It was not very reassuring. Lucky for this PA, I have pharmacy background and decided to follow up with my OB the next day. They took a urine sample and they told me there is no need to treat a non exissitant UTI. I didn't fill the medication and saved myself and baby any negative adverse effects from antibiotic therapy that was not needed. Overall, I was there for five hours. They only discharged us because I left the room and asked if I could just leave since DVT is ruled out. There was no need for all the extra nonsense these people performed or the show at the end of providing a prescription for something that was not needed. The nurse came in before discharge and handed a packet of papers and said "have a good night" with zero explanation of what had happened during the visit or any counseling regarding the medication. This place is awful and would not reccomend. Drive the extra distance and go elsewhere. read more

I highly, HIGHLY recommend MultiCare hospital in the valley. My fiancé was having pain and needed to go to the closest hospital so we picked this one. I'm so glad we did. Every single person treated us like gold. I couldn't believe how nice and considerate every person was. From the front counter to room service, GOLD! I feel like we made a ton of new friends because that's how they treated us. I can't remember anyplace where everyone in the building has made us feel that way. I have only seen that kind of kindness in churches and it's not always sincere. There was sincerity here. Even my fiancé's roommate was so sweet and helpful. We were talking to the Doctor about a protein powder and he was finding the information on his phone for us. We never even asked him to! Regarding the medical team, they were fantastic! Hospitals aren't fun but everyone made our stay there very comfortable. When we needed to discuss lifestyle changes, Kelland was very thorough and happy to answer all of our questions. He and Kathy bent over backwards for my fiancé in room 318. If you ever need a good hospital where you're treated kindly by everyone in the building and by professionals who treat you as their equal, MultiCare hospital in the valley is the definitely the one to consider. read more

She blew my husband's vain because she seemed absolutely incapable of her job!! After bringing it to her attention which she couldn't care less about, she huffed and shrugged about how it happens but what really happened was she was shoving and wiggling the needle all over the place and acting like she hadn't ever done it before. After this he was misdiagnosed and we had to go to another hospital to get a correct diagnosis. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere first!!! read more

I went here with extreme lower left quadrant pain that was making me throw up. I was taken back fairly quickly & given a bed in the hallway. They wouldn't give me pain meds until a pregnancy test came back but they didn't even run that test right away. When I saw the dr, I told him that I had a history of a cyst in that area & that's probably what it was. He said it could be kidney stones or diverticulitis. He ordered a few tests & gave me a little pain med that did nothing. They still made me wait an hour before giving me another type of pain medicine. I had a ct scan & was told that I'd need a pelvic ultrasound. The ultrasound was the most painful test that I've ever had. The nurse has to come give me some pain meds for the tech to continue. I cried the whole time. I was sent back to my hallway spot to wait for the test results. I asked for more pain meds but was told that my case was being transferred so I'd have to wait for the obgyn dr to prescribe it. When that dr finally arrived, he said oh your pain will go away in 2-3 wks so you can just go home. Or if you want me to remove the cyst then we can do it tomorrow. He said that he would do it tonight if I was 18 or 20 but since I'm older than that, it's not an emergency. I agreed to the surgery thinking it would happen in the am like he said. But no my non emergency surgery was pushed all day until 6pm. At this point everyone wants to go home, they hurriedly get me ready & put in the operating room. The anesthesiologist put the air on my face with so much pressure that I thought I was being suffocated then whatever meds he gave me made my ears ring so bad that all I could do was pray that I would wake up. I'm still having trouble sleeping a week later when I think about what happened. The dr went in my abdomen via laparoscopy. He found that my ovary was contorted around the cyst. He had to remove my ovary & cyst. If he would've acted faster, then maybe I would've been able to keep an ovary. I wasn't a priority because of my old age of 42. I wasn't treated with any standard of care. I hope this post stops someone from going through the horror that I went through. These people shouldn't even treat animals let alone people. I am 18 weeks pregnant with severe kidney infections from a misdiagnosed infection from a doctor at Sacred Heart Medical Center. I can to the valley ER after waiting 6 hours at the Sacred Heart ER and got ignored while others with a cough and runny nose got taken back to rooms. I was running a fever and high heart rate and was in extreme pain and was completely shocked that a pregnant women would have to sit for 6 hours waiting with no sense of urgency from any medical professional. I then told them to get my IV out and drove myself to the valley. I was taken in immediately and was treated with amazing care and urgency due to my symptoms that were the same as I told at the previous ER. Turns out I have severe kidney infections from a previously misdiagnosis from my OB (that is located at Sacred Heart-go figure). I was given heavy antibiotics that would help with my condition and was not unhappy for even a second during my visit. I felt safe, cared for, and they answered and took care of every question and concern about me and my baby. After revealing how kidney infections are EXTREMELY dangerous for me and my baby, I am extremely upset and will not go to the OB ya Sacred Heart or their ER again. read more

My wife arrived in the ER under recommendation of her physical therapist. She had complained of chest pain and difficulty breathing. Her arm, jaw and fingers were presenting with pain and numbness. I work as a lab manager at a clinic nearby and went right over. I was thinking they would get busy and get her blood drawn, an EKG and some radiology. However, things went slow and were problematic. No one could get the IV started, and phlebotomy procedures failed to provide the blood necessary for lab work. After the fifth attempt, the nurse dribbled blood from a IV site into open tubes and sent them to the lab. But, the lab didn't get the blood processed for over an hour and when they did they found it to be poor specimens; So, a new phlebotomy tech came down to the ER to redraw my wife. He couldn't get the blood, but after a few sticks more and two hours and forty-five minutes we got the STAT cardiac labs My wife had had a heart attack and her trop I levels revealed real issues. The staff decided to transport her to Deacon Hospital. The charge physician was very nice and apologized for the issues we had experienced. The Valley Hospital is an essential medical facility for our community. But some trauma training is needed. I have been a lab manager for over 10 years and a medical professional for over thirty; I still train constantly. Continuing Education is the most important part of being prepared. read more

I was treated at Valley ER and ICU this last week and I could not have asked for better service, treatment and caring. Every single staff member cared about what I had to say, listened and explained the treatment I needed. The ICU nurses were the best professionals I have ever received treatment from. They were prompt, caring and went above and beyond for me. This is my second time needing their services and I can say this is the best hospital I have ever encountered. PLEASE PLEASE EVERYONE SHARE THIS TERRIBLE NEGATIVE DISRESPECTFUL CARELESS EXPERIENCE MY MOTHER AND I HAD WITH MULTICARE VALLEY HOSPITAL & DR. ELIZABETH R. KERN who was caring for my mother on the night of 4/5/21. I WILL ABSOLUTELY 100% NEVER TAKE MY MOTHER OR HAVE MY MOTHER TAKEN TO MULTICARE VALLEY HOSPITAL EVER AGAIN and everyone who reads this should consider going there as well. I would never want anyone to deal with or experience this situation at any point with themselves or a loved one regarding the Spokane Valley MultiCare hospital and DR. Elizabeth R. Kern who was the doctor handling my mothers care on the night of 4/5/21. Since November my mother has been transported to the hospital 6 times because I've had to call 911. Since November she's stopped breathing two times, diabetic comma two times, a bloody nose causing pools of blood that would not stop, and the last incident on 4/5/21 was from shaking uncontrollably (not a seizure but shaking uncontrollably like a seizure) so I called 911. They transported my mother via ambulance to MultiCare Valley Hospital. While my mother is at Valley MultiCare Hospital I get a call from Dr. Kern about 5 hours later for an update on my mother. I could tell right away Dr. Kern was extremely unprofessional and rude by the tone in her voice. After 5 hours of my mother being at the hospital I was told by Dr. Elizabeth Kern that nothing is wrong with my mother and she's being discharged. I responded back to Dr. Kern with "something is wrong with my mother, I'm the one that cares for her daily, I see her daily all hours of the day and something is wrong with her." I addressed a concern to Dr. Elizabeth Kern that this unfortunately has been a pattern of her being released and I'm calling 911 again tonight or tomorrow because this has been the pattern the last 4/5 months (you can even pull up her chart and see the pattern) and that something isn't currently right with her so I asked "can my mother please stay for the night to be monitored to make sure 100% nothing additional is wrong with her outside of her serious health issues she has daily because she has very serious health problems that can be impacted severely if something else in addition is wrong with her. Dr. Elizabeth Kern replied back to me with the exact words of "we're not here to babysit your mother at your convenience and why do you keep bringing her back here?" I told her ask the fucking paramedics why? So Dr. Elizabeth Kern who's caring for my mother and her health currently at this moment is telling me NOTHING is wrong with my mother, they aren't going to babysit my mother for my convenience, and why keep bringing her back here showed me the UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, CARELESS level of care my mother is receiving at the moment. I immediately got in the car went to the hospital and demanded her to be discharged on the spot after everything that was said by Dr. Elizabeth Kern and that I'm taking my mother to another hospital for care. As I'm waiting for my mom to be discharged and IV's taken out Dr. Elizabeth Kern walks in the room with the same UNPROFESSIONAL, CARELESS, RUDE ATTITUDE says "we found a UTI". So my mother who has the severest case of COPD, severest case of DEFECTIVE LUNGS (which puts her on oxygen 24/7 along with using a nebulizer and bipap machine/mask when sleeping), ADVANCED DIABETES, ADVANCED KIDNEY DISEASE, CONGESTIVE HEART FAILURE, I'm told by Dr. Elizabeth Kern "nothing is wrong with my mother so they are discharging her, why do I keep bringing her back here, and they aren't here to babysit my mother for my convenience" as I'm telling Dr. Elizabeth Kern "something is wrong with my mother, I can tell by how she's acting is now telling me she has a UTI. A UTI can have a really MAJOR BAD IMPACT on my mother with her current MAJOR HEATH CONDITIONS I WILL ABSOLUTELY 100% NEVER TAKE MY MOTHER OR HAVE MY MOTHER TAKEN TO MULTICARE VALLEY HOSPITAL EVER AGAIN. MultiCare labor and delivery does not provide informed consent, in my experience the doctor, nurse, and nurse anesthetist all performed procedures on me during birth without explaining what was occurring, what they were putting into my body, how the birth was going, etc. It was a horrible experience without dignity, respect or consideration. The doctor refused to talk to me directly, I was only allowed to respond to the nurse when answering yes/no. The nurse performed multiple exams without my consent and there was an overall lack of dignity, respect or consideration for the patient. The lack of comfort measures provided to the patient were astounding, if you must go here to deliver your baby you need to know your rights, insist on being part of the decision making in your birth plan, in addition to making sure in your birth plan you insist on informed consent for ALL procedures. A doula to ensure your rights are respected is recommended! Valley Multicare hospital also has an advocacy line that I would recommend complaints be sent to if you have a horrible experience like I did. read more

Very welcoming staff, other than the front desk guy at the time. If you are lighthearted with the doctors and nurses, they will make your visit a lot better. Service was surprisingly quick at 9:30pm on a Friday night, so I'm genuinely impressed with my experience here, especially given the 2.5 star rating. Would recommend. read more
