I had some hesitation about purchasing second-hand furniture online, but I just received my first Kaiyo purchase, and I am 100% satisfied. The armchair looks exactly like the detailed photos, and honestly looks as if it was barely ever used. The delivery was easy and straightforward--you pick a day for delivery at purchase, then 2 days ahead you receive a 4-hour delivery window, and then a text when the delivery is 45 minutes out, and finally a call from the truck when they pull up at your address. Raymond and Frank were very nice and very careful bringing the chair into the house, making sure I had a chance to inspect it, and placing it right where I asked. I will definitely use Kaiyo again to find unusual pieces that would have to be custom ordered if new, at twice the price and 4-5x the wait time. read more

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Kaiyo from beginning to end. I found an amazing console table for 65% off retail. I've been looking for a long time and was so happy to find exactly what I was looking for used. I chose a delivery date and the communication leading up to that date was great! The best part was the delivery team of Stanton, Oscar, and Eric. They were so nice and friendly (and strong!). It was a large piece and they handled it very carefully through the house. They told me that the company flew them to New York the day before for Employee Appreciation Day. That's the kind of company I want to support. Seeing the console in person, I was pleasantly surprised. It was listed in 'fair' condition but I couldn't really find much wrong with it. I'd been getting Kaiyo ads served to me on IG. After hearing my NYC friends say that this site was their 'new Craigslist/FB Marketplace' I decided to start browsing. Before I knew it, I had placed an order for a bunch of new furniture for my house. I was nervous because the info about the furniture on the site is pretty bare bones, and there aren't a TON of photos. But delivery prices were good, and I read that I could refuse a delivery and get my money back if something wasn't up to snuff. There were a few start-upy hiccups - scheduling my delivery was a biatch - but the stuff came intact, well packaged, full white glove delivery, and the photos were accurate! Ray and Roger were my delivery guys, and they were so helpful, thorough, and nice. Four stars and not five because the delivery rescheduling at the last second left me in a bind. But I'm sure once the kinks get ironed out, Kaiyo will be my new go-to. read more

This was our first experience with Kaiyo and it was great. We ordered a couple of heavy pieces, and although I guess I made a mistake and our delivery guys, Raymond and Oscar, were expecting us to be on the ground floor, they managed to haul everything up to our place without getting a scratch on either the furniture or the apartment. If I could give 10 stars to Kaiyo I would. Every single thing about this company is absolutely fantastic. First, their merchandise is tremendous. They offer an incredibly wide variety of high quality brands at fabulous prices - they are the best kept secret in the furniture market. Kaiyo had the EXACT chairs I wanted at a tiny fraction of the retail price. I was over the moon when I saw them on the site. Second, scheduling the delivery was easy, remarkably fast and so so so reasonably priced. Plus I was able to select my exact delivery date right when I purchased the items, which I really appreciated. Lastly (I'm saving the best for last) the actual delivery itself exceeded my expectations In every single way (and I had high expectations based on my experience with the company up to that point!). Kaiyo's delivery process is clearly very well organized and their communication leading up to the delivery was flawless. They provided a 4 hour delivery window the day before my chosen delivery date (they arrived within the first hour!) and the company even called to alert me when the truck was pulling up to my house. It is important to note that Kaiyo has its own in-house delivery arm and that makes a world of difference. in comparison to outsourced delivery companies, Kaiyo's delivery men know that they are representing Kaiyo and it shows....Eliseo and Eric S, could not have been better. They arrived right on schedule and carefully and efficiently brought each item into my house. All of the pieces were individually wrapped in furniture blankets for transport and everything arrived in fabulous condition. Eliseo and Eric were so kind and so professional - they were just lovely in every way and they both really seemed to enjoy their jobs, which I loved to see. I could not have been happier. They have a wonderful selection of vintage furniture, which I love and is usually so hard to find, and they provide fantastic descriptions and details on their website. I love the entire process, where you can pay for the furniture but have till you actually inspect it in person on day of scheduled pick up to decide whether you keep it or not. But above all, I would say is their impeccable customer service online, by phone or in person. We had several pieces of large, expensive furniture that would sadly not fit in our new home. Kaiyo was interested in offering it for sale on our behalf. Not only was the process efficient but the team of Raymond and Chi handled every piece with great care to ensure it was well protected.
