If you've never had poke, it's mainly raw fish marinated and chopped up served over a bed of rice and other things. You can customize it like Chipotle. Despite the Maui reference, this is not traditional Hawaiian poke so as long as you're ok with that, this place is great! I got the #8 Combo Poke which was great. Seafood was very fresh and the sauce was delicious. I also got a matcha boba - pretty well priced and good, boba was chewy and the matcha was a good flavor. The model is a build your own bowl concept. I ended up building a regular sized bowl with tuna, salmon, and shrimp. By the time it was complete - I gave myself the title of chef. After I sat, I realized that I just made a new friend in Hoki Poki. The food was delicious! As I mentioned, the place is small. If you dine in, you get free miso soup. I ordered the tempura shrimp roll with brown rice. However, instead of getting brown rice I got extra crab rolls. I am not complaining about that mistake. I did get popsticker and spring roll, my coworker that went with me didn't like the spring roll so I didnt eat it and the popsticker was amazing. Will definitely be back for more. Very small inside so may order to go next time.
