A Paris local suggested this place when I visited and we went there together for a working lunch. Long story short -- this place has something for everyone. If you want taqueria style tacos -- Alex's has you covered. If you want classic Tex-Mex, Alex's has you covered. They're more than willing to customize your order. And if you've got a lighter appetite, you can order individual tacos like I did. I was impressed by the rib eye tacos. And the salsa had a good flavor, but could use a bit more kick. Honestly im about tired of giving them chances. Their right around the corner from me, but its no longer worth the chance. The beef and chicken still taste as if they cooked it with the fish. I hate for my beef to taste like shrimp. Also dont go i there to order one thing, especially if its take out. If they were polite in the beginning there whole mood changes and they become annyoed. One time i ordered FF for my toddler, thats all she wanted, they tried to charge me $6 when the menu clearly stated way less. My son and I recently tried Alex's Tacos and were pleasantly surprised. The place has much more to offer than Tacos. They have a grand menu with classic Mexican Dishes such as Tamales, Enchiladas, Burritos, Salads, and Fajitas.I had the Beef Fajitas and they were very good and complete with onions, bell peppers, guacamole, cheese, and beans and fried rice. My son's Tamale Dinner was excellent. Oh and I must give credit to their Margueritas. They were tasty and full of the kick for attitude and Happy hour pricing to boot. Saturday night we get there before a rush grab a table where no one else is sitting get some drinks and waited a good minute for our food we ask for salsa and she said she's going to get it and doesn't come back I had to go find her. Then they say they got a complaint on us okay if that's the issue then you should have better service we would have left sooner. If you like being ignored after you've seated, having your drink orders disappear and getting snotty responses from the staff when you ask for help...then this is the place for you. Stopped on our way home from the casino. We had never been there before. My husband had three ribeye tacos and I had the three taco dinner. I ordered an el pastor, beef fajita and brisket taco. Both our meals were excellent. We each took a taco home. I couldn't even eat my rice and beans because I was so full. All the meat was tender and perfectly seasoned. The service was great as well. I was very disappointed in the quality of service. I picked Alex's for my birthday dinner because of the great experience I previously had. For starters our chips were cold. When I placed my order for fajitas I asked that the set up not include lettuce or any type of pico. I was cut off and told it didn't come with that. When I received my set up it was not correct. Basically 4 out of 8 meals had to be returned and corrected. My fajitas were burning as they put them in front of me. A billow of black burning smoke was coming off of them and the hot oil was popping and burning my skin. You couldn't tell what was meat and what was vegetables. My mother had to return her plate 2 times and finally just told them not to bring it back in the most polite way possible. After all of this we were treated pretty crappy. Our ticket was thrown on the table and suggested we pay at front on the way out in a snippy tone. But we still had a birthday cake in the back they were suppose to bring out. When asked for the manager, the waitress who served us (tattoo on neck, very pretty) informed us she was the manager... Again in a very snippy tone. When I attempted to de escalate the attitude and show extreme kindness, it back fired. It's as if they didn't care that THEY got the order wrong. I'm not sure how this was our fault? When you pay for something you expect it to be correct. When you ask for a child's meal with no veggies or jalapeño, then they bring it with, you return it and they bring it back 30 seconds later after scrapping it off, they can't expect a child to eat that when they get a left over jalapeño in their mouth. Which is what happened. And then she was very rude about it. The food tasted great!! When it was brought out corrected. I love their chips and salsa. But their service is defiantly lacking. I feel that a lesson is customer service and compassion for others is much needed by a few members of the staff. I can't say that we will dine in again. And if we order to go I will check the order to confirm correct. Maybe they had an off night, I don't know? But my birthday dinner was ruined. read more

Went there Monday Feb 22nd @6:30, place wasn't even 1/4 full but was totally ignored waiting at the bar to place a Togo order. 4 different waitresses cut their eyes over at me and or walked by without saying a word! After sitting there for 10 minutes I got tired of their lousy service and went and went to Dos Maria's where I should have gone in the first place. I have eaten here quite a few times and it has been consistently delicious. It is clean and has much nicer furniture than the average local Tex-Mex restaurant. I love their chips and salsa which is a requirement to get my recommendation. The wait staff are very attentive and quick to refill chips and drinks. We have many wonderful Mexican food restaurants to choose from such as Garibaldi, La Familia, Ta Molly's and Don Lalo's, and I am glad to add Alex's Tacos to that list. We've eaten here on multiple occasions and the food and service were always good. This trip, the food was good but the service was lacking. The waitress asked if I wanted green sauce and I said yes please. She never brought it. Another waitress stopped at our table and asked if we needed anything, I asked for green sauce again. She said okay, and never came back. Our regular waitress came back 15 minutes later and my husband asked a third time for the green sauce. She brought it with an attitude--slapped it down on the table with a sour look on her face and walked off. We never saw her again. Had to get the meal ticket at the register. read more
