Meh... I've definitely had better, though it wasn't the worst I've ever tasted. What really…read moredampened the experience was the price. I ordered a scoop of their espresso gelato, but the portion was so small it looked more like a child-sized sample than a proper scoop. Then, for an additional charge, I received a drizzle of flavorless chocolate sauce. When I asked for cookie crumbles, I was charged another $1.00 and given what amounted to about a quarter of an Oreo cookie. I'm not exaggerating. I'm a small person, so I know what a modest portion looks like--but this was tiny, even by my standards. It felt more appropriate for a 5-year-old than a paying customer. What frustrates me most is when "specialty" shops charge premium prices for products that don't feel special at all. The only thing that seemed exceptional here was the inflated cost. In all honesty, I would have enjoyed a Peanut Buster Parfait from Dairy Queen far more.

It was so good! The coffee was great as well! My husband and I are kind of boring, he got a black pour over and I got a plain double shot of espresso. Both were made perfectly! The two baristas on duty did an awesome Job and the customer service was amazing! We will definitely go again if we are ever in the area!

As soon as we walked in, it was so cute and clean inside and the customer service was AMAZING! It was our first time here, and Vaughn was SO sweet and super patient with us while we sampled different flavors and he gave us the best recommendations! I ended up going with the classic cup with 4 flavors. I did the Mango Sorbet, the Organic Lemon Sorbet, the Passionfruit Sorbet, and the Blueberry Cheesecake gelato. This was easily the best sorbet + gelato I've ever had in my entire life! This combination of flavors was absolutely PERFECT. Seriously, SO refreshing, velvety and delicious! Each flavor had the perfect amount of sweetness + tartness. You can tell they use the highest quality of ingredients! This place is an absolute gem and I can't wait to come back! 1000000000/10 - HIGHLY recommend!

I also got a blueberry cheesecake flavor which was good, but could've used a little restraint on the sweetness. I would've preferred more of the velvety cheesecake flavor to come through. You order through a kiosk and then the order is populated behind the counter where they scoop the gelato. It's a little disorienting at first, but it makes sense for busy times. I would've preferred definitely return to try some of the more exotic flavors.

If you've…read morenever been, I suggest you bookmark and head to this location for the best gelato in the city. Thank you, Botolino, for opening a second location. My Overall Rating - 5 Stars (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Return) Atmosphere - This location doesn't have the same charm as the original location off lower Greenville, but it does have a lot more parking. The location is smaller, but the same silver lids that cover the delicious flavors remain, along with plenty of assorted seating. Honestly, the fact that I can easily get in and out makes this my preferred location. 1 Star. Service - The staff are wonderful. They will let you sample any flavor that you want and will ring up your order with a smile. Honestly, I always order the same flavor, but the staff is nice enough to let me sample as much as I want. 1 Star. Food - White Coffee. Write it down. Memorize it. Order it. I always do, and it is by far my favorite flavor of all time. It tastes exactly like a sweet and creamy latte, with distinct espresso flavored notes. On my most recent visit, I tried their peanut butter and jelly. It was amazing and I almost ordered it. Almost. But in the end the white coffee still rules over me. Bonus - you can get a white coffee gelato cake for your next dinner party. 2 Stars. Will I Return? - Heck Yes. No parking issues and white coffee? Shut up and take my money. Thank you Botolino for expanding to North Dallas and becoming even more accessible to the surrounding area. 1 Star.

The employees were amazing at handling the crowd and allowing us to take time and sample flavors before choosing. I got the fig and mascarpone and lavender flavors but everything was really good that I tried! There is a great depth of flavor here. I usually look for vegan flavors as well and saw that there was 4 vegan options. I'm excited to see what flavors come in rotation - hopefully a pistachio vegan soon!!

There was so much going on with the menu, I had to ask a lot of questions. They have ready made gelatos as well as fresh gelatos that can be made to order. There are so many flavors to choose from which sounds like a good thing, but taking the time to read through all of it and then making a decision proved to be easier said than done. I found the menu as it was explained to me, confusing. I then proceeded to place orders for what I thought was a doable configuration, then I realized I was barking up the wrong tree. Deciphering a menu should be that hard, but for what ever reason, the menu was more complicated than it needs to be. That aside, I eventually ordered some Passionfruit gelato. It's made to order and frozen with the liquid nitrogen. It was good, but something I probably wouldn't get again. The most best part was the texture. It was very satisfying- like if a cloud became a frozen treat. The atmosphere is pretty noisy and is not really conducive to relaxing. I would get mine to go next time.
