Coney dogs are something I discovered my love for since I started traveling in 2012. A nice hot dog in a bun with meat, onions and mustard. Hot dogs are like burgers and pizza. Almost endless customization. Coney Island has a menu to prove it. I ordered a Jalapeno Cheese and a BBQ dog. $2.50 a piece. Super cheap in my books! The Jalapeno Cheese was super good, but the BBQ dog was amazing! This place gets a 5/5 in my book. We were promptly greeted by everyone. Since it was my first time, it was nice to not be rushed to order. Questions are answered. I had the Italian sandwich & this was the best one I've ever had (those are my go to sandwich). The mix of the meats with the peppers & onions was nice. The bread was perfect. My friend Tim and I popped in here to grab a drink and explore some more of Galesburg, IL. The outside of the building is quaint, but once you step inside, it's cozy and bright. I offered to buy the drinks for us and we ordered the same thing. I have ordered the same thing many times at other places (Iced Caramel Latte) and am used to what the average price is. Come to my surprise when my total for two drinks was about $12-$14. Usually I get a small or a medium, but they must've rang me up for the largest size they had, hint the crazy high price. But man, was it delicious and made me want more. Overall, I would come back again. They have a nice staff, it's bright and happy on the inside, they have a cool mural in the middle of the store and the coffee is delicious.
