I lived at the Elmwood in Elmhurst for 20+ years. I think Jordan Platt is a piece of garbage. He's a racist, self-centered midget with money who harasses people by sending private investigators to invade peoples privacy. He hates minorities and wants them all out of his buildings. He doesn't know how to talk. It seems like he came from the jungle somewhere with no respect. Just know if you fall behind on your rent, they won't accept any money at all in hopes that you will not be able to come up with the lump sum when he takes you to court and he can evict you. Plus, I can't tell you the amount of mice that I've caught in my apartment and cockroaches that I had to take care of myself because his exterminators are a joke. The Elmwood is disgusting. It really is and very dirty. If you apply to rent in one of his buildings look into your application application if you get denied, he picks and chooses who he wants in his building he needs to be reported that's against the law. Jordan you will get caught one day by the law because you are biased and evil. Anot the real estate lawyer is as special as he is. My building in Brooklyn has recently changed management. As is expected the tenants were curious and maybe a bit frightened that we might get a company worse than the one we have had for more than 20 years. Those fears melted away immediately when we saw the changes that have been long overdue, happening in a professional way. The biggest problem we had with the previous management company was communication and expertice. My first experiences with Kaled was with Carolyn Mallazzo. I had some questions about inconsistencies with the previous company and she cleaned that up in no time. Recently my lease came up for renewal after the new rent regulations came into effect and I had some questions as I have a preferential rent and there's a lot about the new laws that I needed clarification on. Again Carolyn Mallazzo's communication skills, knowledge and professionalism made it clear what had changed and what had not and did it in one day, actually in about an hour. I live in a Kaled management building for the past 5 years and every time I call the office, they are very helpful and responsive. I just recently had an issue with my refrigerator and called the office and spoke to a gentlemen named Christian Poveda. I explained to him what was going on with the refrigerator and had the super here within the next 10 minutes to check on the fridge. Super advised me that he could not fix the refrigerator and a new one had to be ordered. I called back Christian Poveda to explain what the super had said and that we needed to order a new one, I couldn't wait until a new refrigerator was ordered due to my food perishing, so Christian spoke with the property manager and he authorized to move a refrigerator from one of the recently vacant apartments in to my apartment until the new one was ordered. Within an hour I had a replacement refrigerator until the new one arrived. Thank you Kaled Management and Christian Poveda for communicating this issue to the proper personnel. read more

I have to say that it has been a great experience being assisted by Carolyn Malazzo. She is one of the best managers I have come across in any facet. She helped a lot in the transition of an apartment at 141-10 82nd Drive. We first moved into this apartment in 1968. My brother has been there most of his life. My parents first brought us to 141-10 82nd Drive in 1968. There is so many memories growing up in the apartment there. It's always been a nice quiet building. My father passed away awhile ago. Carolyn Malazzo was terrific with the process of transitioning the Apartment to my brother. Even with the Pandemic she has continued to help us in every way. Thanks to her the transition was smooth. Probably one of if not the best management companies around. It's true, they ask for a lot of paperwork. But I guess that's because they want to make sure everyone they put in the building can afford the apartment and add to the quality of life. Personally, I was very happy with the process. I loved my Broker from Kew Forest Realty. The process was smooth and seamless. I had a minor issue upon moving in. I called the office and spoke to Anat and Carolyn. They were able to resolve my issue immediately and all was well again. I see some of these reviews and they are furthest from the truth. Keep up the great job Kaled! read more

This company is great. We have been living here for several years and the staff is so helpful. Whenever I had a problem with the tenant below me they assisted me. I had a problem with my company paying on time and they said it was ok, not to worry as long as it was one time. Finally, we decided to buy a house and they were so sweet there. The lady at the management office said we would have to pay to break the lease. we sent in themoney and we had no problems. They are great. I am going to miss Kaled and the staff. Too call Kaled Management a bunch of Twats would be doing a disservice to the word TWAT. Yup they are terrible. I have never met a bunch of more twisted crooks in my entire adult life. With management/ownership companies like Kaled I am surprised there haven't been more slayings of property managers. Yup they hate and vitriol I have for these clowns is of epic proportions. Despite other reviews I have seen here , I can tell you that my experience was much different. I had some personal issues/work-health related. In my stressful time of need, I dealt with Anat and her team. They were very accommodating and worked with me until I was able to get back on my feet. I moved out on July, 2017 from the Dorset building. Prior to moving out I had called Mr. Christian Poveda to request an additional 2 months to vacate the apartment due to me purchasing a home and the fact that my lease expired on 5/31/17.
