I was looking for a reliable contracting company to do a major interior renovation project including a full gut out demolition and rebuild of an existing extension that I knew required extensive corrections and repair. Chelsea is a family owned and operated business and they were exceptional right from the start. Dominick Mupo and his son Louis came to perform the initial inspection and to discuss my project. Dominick provided a very detailed estimate in writing, which he reviewed with me line by line in person with full transparency. They may not be the least expensive but I got what I paid for; they did a superior job from big to fine details from start to finish. Working with Dominick, Louis, Michael, Manny and Carlos was an absolute pleasure. They kept to the timeline, showed up as planned and on time, were pleasant and cooperative, cleaned up at the end of each and every day, respectfully cared for my home and property and were ever patient with my many questions and concerns every step of the way. They were consistently open to discussion regarding the problems found from the original construction, and with my participation in the process. They made the whole project as stress free as possible and consistently went above and beyond. I never doubted that my home and project was as important to them as their own homes would be. Their expertise with problem solving, knowledge of code and the correct way to do things, with acute attention to detail, was exceptional. Their referrals for floor refinishing and painting were also excellent. I am beyond pleased with the final results and could not have asked for a better contracting company. I will be using them for all my planned home remodeling projects and highly recommend them without reservation.

I chose Wayne's Custom Carpentry because Wayne had the best ideas about how to accomplish my goals of putting in lighting and flooring into the attic. For example, he installed lighting in the ceilings of four rooms, and also put in a bedroom fan. This company also put in the attic ladder. He did an amazing job and at a fair price. This company only uses highly talented workers. I also felt safe allowing them into my home. The flooring and lighting are perfect. The pull-down attic ladder also came with a string that my cat Dolly loves!

I made two appointments (with Desiree) for John to come to my home to give me a quote for work that I had. Both times John was "unable to make the appointment". The first time I was already half way to my house on my lunch hour when I decided to call first to confirm that he would be meeting me. Good that I did, because he wasn't going to be there. The second time (which you'd have thought he'd try to keep or call me himself) - Desiree called, left a message that John couldn't be there until 3 hours after the appt was set up and when I tried to call her right back - she never answered the phone for me to tell her that postponing was not possible on that day. I gave them one last chance by telling them the two days I was available to meet him, and they didn't bother contacting me to set it up. I don't like being jerked around for an appointment - I'm busy and I do what I say I'm going to do. I expect any contractor to do the same. Thankfully, I didn't have him perform any work as his word was already crap just setting up an appointment for a quote.

They were the second highest quote we got (first was Allure) compared to all the other contractors we interviewed. We would've loved to go with them but their prices were not affordable.
