Great! Just about the nicest hostel I've ever stayed in.

Pay whatever but stay somewhere else. Check-in process was…read morefelt similar to the booking process at the county drunk tank. Very strange people roaming hallways that made us nervous. Room was under construction and unfinished. When I asked about the air conditioning, the clerk came to the room and huffed about having to change from heating to cooling, 'you can't have both.' AC was a window unit stuck through the wall and not plugged into the wall. Even if I connected it, it only works with the heat disconnected. Luggage cart looked like an industrial wagon and I had trouble moving it empty. Shower was a hodge-podge of amature plumbing (saving grace was a good shower head) that was wonkety to use. The window had been replaced some time ago but no one bothered replacing the trim - raw sheet rock that looked like it was crudely broken into shape. Outside of the building was grossly peeling paint and faded signage. We were really uncomfortable at the property and checked out early.

I ended up losing $130 on a reservation I made because I'm not going to leave more money. However, there was no refund either because I went through some other site which is horrible. I live in this valley and they were not this way before. Must be new ownership. Either way watch out not a good spot!!

Luckily, it was a clean and simple room. The building itself reminded me of church camp - the room didn't have bunkbeds but it wouldn't be surprising if they did ;) The location neighboring the fancier skiing resorts (walking distance) was lovely for the views, trails and mini stores. Unfortunately, the thing that didn't make us love C'mon Inn was the lack of COVID safety precautions. The staff was half-heartedly wearing masks (some did / some did not), and none of the other guests we encountered were wearing masks. We thoroughly sanitized our own room but it didn't feel that this was a top priority for this hotel as it wasn't communicated. Overall, it got the job done but it's too bad they aren't taking the pandemic more seriously for their guests' safety.

Breakfast room is open all day with a microwave and coffee. People are friendly, the atmosphere seems to encourage conversations and friendliness. Staff are very helpful and know about the area. Rebecca encouraged us to try cross country skiing. Cross country ski trails are accessible from the lower lodge. Almost forgot the hot tub! Good to soak the sore muscles at the end of the day.

The hotel itself is a 2 star experience but once you factor in staff services it's a 1 star. The remodel was half hearted and I'll bullet point all my problems with this one night stay in an Executive Room. - Parking fee is $12, website says $10 - Room descriptions inaccurate including bed types and number of TVs. - Odd dirty smell in room and bathroom - No clock, drapes, iron or board, coffee pot, safe, closet, dresser or any type of hanging racking for clothes in room. - Shower floor not level, resulting in water pooling to one corner where it stayed all night. This might explain odd, dirty smell. - Moth inside sheets of king bed, discovered at bed time after pulling sheets back. - No sheets on sofa bed or anywhere in room. Asked front desk for sheets when headed out for dinner, they offered to have housekeeping put sheets on but we declined and asked to get them upon my return. Housekeeping entered room anyway even with do not disturb on door. - TV didn't work nor did telephone when I tried calling down for tech support. - Walk downstairs to ask about TV, given instructions how to reset box but even that didn't work. Asked to move rooms but they were booked up. When I asked for discount, they offered $25 off a $350 rate. I asked for larger discount but was told manager must approve and they'd follow up with me but no one did and no discount provided at all. Later front desk clerk came to room, unplugged and plugged in new cords to get TV working. - Thin walls and windows, heard traffic and drunks leaving the bar across street late into the night and if it's a Wednesday morning you'll hear a dump truck at 6:20am. Through all this never even an apology from any staffer.

Executive room living area is a love seat, not a couch and there is no longer a second bed.
