The honey lavender latte warmed my soul on a chilly morning! Then we followed that up with the Thai curry soup and BLTA salad, what a perfect lunch! We got to meet the owners who were so friendly and gave us lots of advice and recommendations on the area! A very nice couple who gave a nice welcoming start to our day. This is a lovely spot in Whitefish you definitely want to catch one AM. They are only open til 2pm so plan accordingly!

This is the best kept secret in Whitefish! It's a cozy bed and breakfast in the heart of downtown. They offer 2 rooms, a small room for a couple and a larger one that can sleep four. We had the small, two person room, that was complete with a private bathroom, welcome cookies, and a small coffee pot & ground coffee for the morning. The accommodations were great--the bed was comfortable and both the room and bathroom were updated. A key code provides entry to the building and the room, and a designated parking space is available in the back of the building. The restaurant was tasty-- the breakfast (an entree and coffee drink) are included in the price of the room. The menu is small but all of the options (look) delicious. -- I would recommend the avocado toast. The cotija and corn are a creative addition to a breakfast classic. Even better? It's served on top of homemade bread. -- The breakfast sandwich was also good, but a tad greasy for my taste. -- The doughnut holes are also a fun thing to share! The staff does not wear masks and do not enforce masking by patrons. However, there is no statewide mask-mandate in Montana, so "technically" they are following protocols. I would not recommend staying/dining here if lack of masking makes you uncomfortable. I look forward to a return visit in the future (ie when COVID19 is less of a threat to the health and safety of people)!

The Farmhouse & Inn is a charming place to stay in Whitefish. Close to everything you need and super walkable! The staff is so very welcoming, sweet and very accommodating. Hannah is darling and brought me tea on a cold and rainy day! The rooms are cozy and comfortable with everything you need for a short stay. The food is delicious and coffee is just right! Thank you for making my stayso lovely. I will definitely be back!

Back Courtyard is very nice and inviting. Just curious how this all comes together in the Winter...

Visiting from Southern California for the week and stumbled across this hidden gem off the beaten path a bit. Gotta throw some serious props out to the two Front of the House team members that we're working today. Hannah & Caden. Hannah was up front and greeted us with a smile, explained the menu, coffees and teas walked us to our table to give us time to decide what we wanted and not hold up the line. Caden was all over making sure we had what we needed at all times and the two of them didn't stop once. Bussing, wiping & cleaning and running food in between. We got the Huckleberry Sriracha Turkey on a croissant and the BLT on their home made bread... SHUT THE FRONT DOOR.. DELICIOUS and highly recommend! Good Service, Good Food = Good Time! Next time your in Whitefish check it out, can't go wrong! Peace... Frank

We had just missed the cutoff for breakfast on a Saturday, so ordered off the lunch menu- both choosing the turkey and sriracha croissant sandwich. You can tell everything is fresh and high quality, but the prices were just too high for the amount of food, in my opinion. My SO and I both liked the sandwich a lot, but it is a cold sandwich. I think it would have been off the charts if it was warm- melty cheese, toasted croissant, drooling thinking about the missed opportunity! The menu said it would be served with house made kettle chips, but 99% sure it was actually some Terra veggie chips. Not bad, just not as advertised. Very cute space as well, loved the decorations (we sat inside).

Visiting whitefish and found Farmhouse by getting lost. It was pure luck I found my favorite breakfast and coffee spot. Went everyday and last day in town I went twice. Staff is friendly and polite. Chance does such a good job in kitchen. all quinoa bowls and coffee are very delish.

    Mattress :(

Very poor experience. While the location is close to everything, its also close to the train tracks so I awakened throughout the night EVEN with a white noise machine. The mattress compresses down to a pack of cards and the bed is VERY short. The room is right out a NYC hotel room as in tiny...there is no way it could accommodate more than one person. There is not comfortable place to sit. The owners were unresponsive to questions and they did not event serve breakfast. After booking they mentioned I had to eat elsewhere. The wifi directions were incorrect. The walls are thin, I could hear the couple across the hall. And finally the only parking spaces are under a tree that drops sap on your vehicle. Wonderful!

We stayed here for 5 nights through AirBnB and were very pleased with our experience! This is one of the few places in Whitefish that offers complimentary breakfast in the price of the stay and that sold it for us. As far as the menu goes, the Czech breakfast plate is DELICIOUS, the cinnamon rolls and cookies are warm and tasty, and the London Fog was brewed to perfection. I wasn't as big of a fan of the crepes (thought the crepes themselves were missing flavor apart from the toppings), but the decor and aesthetic of this quaint cafe really sets it apart from the rest. Our room, #2, was recently renovated but rather tiny. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone with a full sized suitcase because there isn't really any room to store your belongings. We managed fine with 2 carry on suitcases, but had to keep our belongings in there for the week to be out of the way. The location is excellent and only a short walk away from the Snow Bus (free shuttle service to the mountain). I have to give a shoutout to Keith, the young man working the counter today (Saturday). He is truly exceptional and made our last day really special. Thank you for the warm hospitality!

Seating is a little "close"here, but if you are lucky the dining room will not be full .

Our son and I wanted to try The Farmhouse. My husband (his dad) stayed at this property when it was a hostel and I was curious to see the transition from hostel to b&b. Straight to the food. Initially, a couple of items seemed a little on the pricey side but after our food was delivered to our table we thought the quality of the food, the portions and the thoughtful presentation of each dish make The Farmhouse breakfasts a good value. It was nice that The Farmhouse offered a Yelp coupon, so be sure to "check-in" on the app. Here is the drill: *You order at the counter from their menu and pay when you order. The dining area is small enough that this is would not be a big deal, either way. *You collect your own flatware and napkins and wait for your food. It has not been worked out if the staff brings the plate to you or you return to the counter when called. This was not made clear to us. *In our case, we were three and the ordering area was too small to stand around and wait for our breakfasts. They directed us to go to our table and they would bring it to us. Easy enough! *From what we could tell when you are finished eating, you leave your dishes on the table. The food was not warm, but this is not their fault. Frankly, I am certain I could not keep a plate warm carrying it across the courtyard when it is 35 degrees outside. So keep this in mind, in the cold months, when you pick the Greenhouse for a dining area, your food may not be especially warm when you get it. We did not mind. The service was a little bumpy but always hospitable, on Saturday morning. I think they need to focus on execution (using the words of my son's girlfriend). They were just learning and doing a fairly good job. They just needed a little more facetime with their trainer. Don't get me wrong, this staff was attentive, eager to please and apologetic at all the right times. To their credit, they knew they needed guidance and quickly got the owner on-site to assist. Hey, I understand wrinkles, I have a few myself. We chose to dine in the little greenhouse in the back. For us, the main dining room was too warm for our liking. The greenhouse was perfect. Both the Waitstaff and Kitchen staff are kind and take pride in their work. I am sure by the time I get this review posted, they will have gotten the service wrinkles out and I will still have mine. One little suggestion: having salt and pepper on the tables or at least more around each dining area would be helpful. Another one of my wrinkles: I managed to lose my pictures of the little greenhouse, I guess I will have to return to get some more ;)

What an awesome spot! Fresh, locally sourced food and a cozy plush spot for weary travelers. Right in the heart of downtown Whitefish, the perfect spot for walking in the evenings after you ate a ton of huckleberry cupcakes. We were at the soft opening and had an assortment of tasty dishes. Farm stand pizza with fresh summer veggies, pesto, fresh mozzarella was delicious! The homemade crust was tender and crisp. Toppings were perfectly done and so much flavor. Farmhouse salad was amazing and fresh. Butter lettuce with fresh carrots, roasted pepitas and zesty homemade dressing. Simple and divine. The roasted chicken was sooooo good. All my favorite things, crunchy and moist with lemons and garlic and capers. Served with roasted potatoes and amazing homemade sourdough bread. I sopped up every bit of oil. It was amazing. Finally. The huckleberry lemon cupcakes. Tender, moist crumb with light creamy frosting and the best huckleberry drizzle I've had. And let me tell you, I've had a lot and made a lot. My traitor husband said it was the best he's ever had. But seriously, it was. Breakfast was also delicious. I had a huckleberry kolache that was so good. The dough was super tender and there was a yummy crunch to the crumb topping.

Front door on the patio. Very cute and clean.

Super cute place, very friendly staff and we had a delicious lunch! The variations on avocado-toast are amazing.

Chicken curry soup and huckleberry half siracha sandwich

A little pricey, but you get local, fresh food. I loved the backyard seating. It was raining, and we had the green house to ourselves. It was beautifully decorated, quiet and private. The half sandwiches are small but come with salad or soup. I had the turkey, huckleberry siracha. It was light and not too spicy. My companion had the huckleberry salad (blueberries come with it and a huckleberry vinaigrette). She loved the sandwich- it was packed with flavor. Cute silverware and jam jars for cups. I would go back again, and get the full sandwich. ;)

The homemade English muffin is beautiful AND delicious

This place looks good but it is not open yet. They said it will be a couple months and it is late September.
